Despite campaign promises, Obama donor base flush with lobbyists

In June 2008, presidential candidate Barack Obama declared that his campaign would “not take a dime from Washington lobbyists.” Obama and his deputies have repeated that promise many times since then. But a Daily Caller survey of campaign disclosures found that at least five of the 27 individuals and couples who have collected more than $500,000 for the Obama 2012 campaign are closely tied to lobbying firms.
Obama’s top fundraisers, called “bundlers,” pool donations from friends and colleagues while placing the entire contribution under their own name. It is unclear whether the unknown individuals who channeled their donations through the bundlers have lobbyist ties, but the five bundlers themselves either run lobbying firms or lead and direct businesses that hire lobbyists.
In a 2012 fundraising letter to supporters, the Obama campaign wrote, “Our campaign doesn’t take money from Washington lobbyists or special-interest PACs.”

Barrack Obama is a liar and a Criminal and should be behind bars for all of the laws that he has broken and continues to break more laws each and every day. Worse than that he is holding a office that he does not qualify for he is an illegal and that is the reason he wants to pass Amnesty for all of the illegals in this country and the reason he fights so hard for that is because he is himself an illegal and if he gets what he wants he will become legal himself.

Obama wants to destroy the US.
Obama wants the nation to default. Obama owes it to Soros for putting him into office.
How? The dollar must be destroyed . There will be no deal on the debt limit if Obama has his way.
Remember what Soros did to the UK?
He bet on the devaluation of the English Pound and worked to make it happen and then made a fortune.
A repeat of that with the US currency is in the making.
Soros will make many billions at the expense of the US citizens and the US economy.
Obama is committing treason by aiding and abetting Soros in the execution of his plan.
Watch out for how much money Soros is going to make on the collapse of the US dollar.
What is going on now is no accident. Obama’s actions all line up to create the debt limit crisis.
He spent the US into oblivion before the 2010 elections. At that time the voters will make a choice to support Obama’s spending or to attempt to stop the spending.
If Obama wins he can continue spending like before because there is still no budget to guide and restrain the spending. That will destroy the dollar and US economy.
If Obama looses he will destroy the US dollar by defaulting on the national debt or cause at least so much insecurity about the US debt that the credit rating of the US will be downgraded.
Obama could have prevented this “crisis” easily before Jan.1, 2011. There is a reason why Obama waited until the republicans took the house and were sworn into office before making the debt limit an issue. He needed a reason NOT to pass a debt limit increase while being able to blame someone else. He needed the republicans or Teaparty as a scapegoat for that. He was not surprised at all with the November election results. He got exactly what he wanted.
Do not underestimate Obama! He is not dumb and he is not ignorant on economics. Obama only wants a different result than we do.
He had a reason for getting involved in the legislative process which is really none of his business. The reason is set the base lines for the parties far apart and to stretch the negotiations so that we run out of time. He created this crisis and is certainly not letting it go to waste.
He had a reason for moving the goal posts on Boehner when there was a threat that an agreement might happen. He never had any intention of making any deal.
You do not have 30 minute blame speeches on national TV to set up a good atmosphere for further negotiations. He made sure that both sides dug in deeper.
Obama makes sure that he agitates the situation with his blame speeches and tweets to insure that the prospects for a deal remain slim and the economic uncertainty increases insuring a US credit downgrade.
I wonder how many billions Obama will make after he leaves office. Soros pays well.
Understand that to be a lobbyist or to lobby is the best way for constituents to keep tabs on the activities of their rep’s .
Unfortunately, today Lobbying has been taken over by the Special Interests who finance the campaigns of our elected representatives
This has resulted in the interests of the voters to be shunned aside after the election
to be replaced by those of the Special interest.
Only a well informed public and true campaigh finance will bring about much needed change.
How can you tell Obama is lying? His lips are moving. This pretender to the throne is the “Pied Piper of Cluelessness” who is leading our great country off the abyss.
