Obama Works Wonders for the Economy —of Brazil

Seeing the American president traveling around the globe, almost begging other nations to ramp up their energy production with billions of U.S. dollars is not just embarrassing; it’s incomprehensible given the extraordinary, untapped energy reserves available right here at home, especially in my home state of Alaska.
Now the administration seems to be moving even more U.S. dollars to Brazil. In a little-covered story from a few days ago, it was revealed that the Air Force has turned down the bid from American aircraft manufacturer Hawker Beechcraft to produce a light attack armed reconnaissance aircraft. Hawker Beechcraft is based in Kansas and employs around 1,400 workers in 20 states. According to the company, $100 million had been invested over a two-year period in working with the Air Force in developing its AT-6 aircraft.
The winner of the nearly $1 billion dollar decision to terminate Hawker appears to be the Brazilian aircraft company Embraer and its “Super Tucano” airplane. It’s odd that the Air Force would prefer U.S. pilots to fly in war zones in planes constructed in Brazil by Brazilian workers. Stranger yet, the favored company, Embraer, has recently been placed under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission for corruption.

Obama’s stratagy is to level the playing field by bring the American economy down to the South American and Eoropian countries level. This is why he lent 20 billion to Brazil to develop their off shore drilling program while at the same time cancelling all Amercian drilling permints in the Gulf of Mexico. In his mind we have to much and have had it to good for to long and we have it because we stole it from these other countries that are suffering while we prospered. Its pay back time . This is what the “foreigner in chief” was indoctrinated to believe while being raised as a Muslim in a Muslim only school in Indonisia. If he had grown up in the USA he would have been taught the history of the country from the American perspective instead of the foreign perspective.

(Petrobras), to help fund offshore oil exploration and development.
The approval of the loan was an action undertaken not by officials who had been appointed by President Obama, but by his predecessor, President George W. Bush, as Ex-Im itself stated:
The Bank’s bipartisan Board unanimously approved the preliminary commitment to Petrobras on April 14, 2009, before any Obama appointees joined the Bank. In fact, at the time the Bank’s Board consisted of three Republicans and two Democrats, all of whom were appointed by George W. Bush.
Despite the claim that the money committed to Petrobras is “taxpayer dollars,” Ex-Im notes that “the vast majority of our financing consists of guarantees of loans made by commercial lenders,” that “the bank is self-sustaining and does not receive any appropriated funds from Congress,” and that “the Bank’s activities do not cost the American taxpayer a dime.”

I too support Ron Paul, he is by far the most Constitutionally based candidate. As such he faces an uphill battle to win the GOP nomination. Dr. Paul needs to have his views heard so he can gain support from GOP conservatives. I don’t think representing yourself as a Paul supporter while tossing out unsubstantiated accusations about other candidates and insulting someone’s handle is a sound method to win over others to Ron’s points on changing government. Remember, the media has convinced most people that Ron Paul and his supporters are nuts, and whack-jobs, so they tune out when they see or hear him. Lets not give them further cause to marginalize us or Ron Paul. Remember most of what the media says about most conservatives should be ignored, that includes about Gingrich & Cain. I hope Ron gets the votes to win, but that won’t happen unless people are willing to listen and I don’t think people listen well after being insulted. If you want the Honorable Representative Dr. Ron Paul to win, then make intelligent statements for his positions and stop alienating those that may listen and eventually cross over into the light. My primary vote belongs to Ron Paul, but if he falls short of victory I will support the GOP candidate against the likes of B.H. Obama. I hope every voter votes for the person that will uphold the Constitution. There are three that will, to some degree, be Constitutionalists; they are 1)-Paul 2)-Bachmann 3)-Santorum in that order. If one of these three doesn’t win, we need to make sure their views are part of a strong conservative GOP platform by supporting these candidates, and their positions, throughout the primary process.

The Embraer Tucano is a very good aircraft, but not a overriding comparative of the Hawker Beechcraft equivalent (I have flow my personal Bonanza V tail for years) We should have a higher weighting in any US military evaluation in respect to US content and impact on loss of US jobs……..(note also the Boeing v Airbus conflict on the refueling contract)
