Okay, so we repeal “don’t ask, don’t tell,” which is a Bill Clinton devised and implemented law.  Okay, so getting rid of something Clinton did is now hailed as an historic civil rights accomplishment.  Well, who knew Clinton was such a bigot?  Obviously he was.  And, folks, “don’t ask, don’t tell” is gone now.  Openly gay individuals can serve in the military.  So does this mean that Mrs. Clinton can finally fulfill her lifelong dream and join the Marines?  I’m just asking.

I’ve always heard that the secretary of state is one of them.

i heard that too i wonder how true it is.

I still think it is a great idea to have gays in the military especially considering the exceptional treatment they get in the USA. You cannot fire a gay person, regardless of how worthless they might be,without risking a lawsuit for discrimination. If you get into an argument with someone and fisticuffs are involved,if the other person is gay(even if you didn’t realize this fact)you are guilty of a hate crime.
If gays are going to get exceptional treatment then they should be made to protect those rights. I feel they have as much right(if not more rights)to have their heads blown off as the next person!!
As a matter of fact, maybe we should bring back the draft but limit it only to gays.
I was in the military during the Vietnam era and although I felt it was a duty,I didn’t think it was a great honor.

The Queers took over Washington a long time ago, look at Elmer Fudd,Barney Franks how long he been there, and who in their right mind put him there.

      He lives in their district.

  • Joe

John McCain had it right when he stated on the Senate floor that DADT was repealed by Senate liberals who had never served in the military. I served in the military and I can say that there will be severe repercussions for allowing gays to flaunt their sickening unnatural sexuality out in the open. Straight men do NOT like seeing that kind of behavior and many will react to it with anger.

  • Budman68

Joe, I doubt that very many gays will be “flaunting” much of anything openly. So it’s “unnatural” to you–doesn’t mean it is unnatural for someone who is gay. So straight men can only “react to it with anger.” Perhaps such people should not be trusted with deadly weapons.

    • viva

I read that Muslim males do not use urinals. Why? Are there gays in any Muslim military? Have you ever slept in a military bunk house?

    • Bud Lang

      Hey budman68
You say it might be natural for some men. So that makes it ok? Simple biology and physiology shows it isn’t natural. The design of the human body doesn’t concur with idea that putting a sexual organ into a body opening meant for the disposal of waste is natural. It is disease ridden and immoral and will bring down the effectiveness of our military.

    • Stephen

Budman68 you are clueless by choice.

  • nmgene

This is just another left wing way to destroy our country. An immoral 2% of the population gets special rights. They should all be institutionalized to protect the rest of us.

  • Ron Hob

Will they have Pitcher and Catcher after their names?? And now it’s a Bigoted matter?? All Americans should have the exact same laws!! Then we wouldn’t have the black thing special, The gay think special, the Musslim think Special, The illiagal thing special. What is wrong with these people? Do they just not have anything to really Do??

  • Carol

It is a mistake, to let anyone who consider themselves gay to even be allowed in military to serve. What did our creator do in times past to people like them? He rained down burning sulferfrom heaven and killed all of them, check out Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis 19:23
