Obama Offers Bailout $$ For Greece

President Barack Obama on Tuesday urged European countries and bondholders to prevent a “disastrous” default by Greece and pledged U.S. support to help tackle the country’s debt crisis.

Obama, whose political prospects have suffered from persistently high unemployment and ballooning U.S. debt, has pinpointed the euro zone crisis as one foreign “headwind” hitting the U.S. economy.

After a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, he stressed the importance of German “leadership” on the issue – a hint that he expects Berlin to help – while expressing sympathy for the political difficulties European Union countries face in helping a struggling member state.

“I’m confident that Germany’s leadership, along with other key actors in Europe, will help us arrive at a path for Greece to return to growth, for this debt to become more manageable,” Obama said.

    I have read that the two main languages in China are Cantonese and Mandarin, with the latter more prominent. Out of both of these, there are about 64 different dialects, some of which are spoken differently in the same region.       If my memory serves me right, these languages were set up centuries ago to prevent civil unrest. The ruling classes could speak Cantonese as well as a few of the Mandarin dialects, each province and village had their own dialects so the common people in different locals couldn’t communicate with each other. C Kent has the right idea to “adjust” his length of time…I might add, in office. He was closely associated with Frances Piven and her theory of collapsing the country with debt and social demands. It is my belief that with the 81 members of the Democratic Socialist Party of America in congress and senate, that this is their goal, to purposefully collapse the economy.

A COMMENT: All of you posting to these blogs on the latest govt stuff…if YOU arent’ personally bombarding your Representatives, Senators and the White house on their OFFICIAL websites with your views…you aren’t being at all effective, nor will you change a darn thing. Please keep that in mind while you’re taking the time to post your thoughts in blogs like this one, you need to follow through with the actual people who are in the positions of power currently…PRESSURE them, it’s your right.

I write to the White House, my Representative and my Senators 3-5 times a week, every week, without fail. Beleive it or not, I get replies from them most of the time too. And I’ve seen them vote how I want them to also, I bet because they heard from others who think like I do and want what I want done.

  Michael, Michael, Michael, I don’t think you realize how many of us are doing just that and many more who have done that for years now. I can’t tell you the number of emails, faxes, and phone calls I’ve made to every one of them including my local officials. Double that after I joined the TEA PARTY and got so many more people involved that some of my local people wanted me to run for office! As you correctly pointed out, it takes lots of hard work to make impact but we have also seen some 180′s in our local government that was not possible in the last 40 years. We are a solid Democrat state and at times it seemed like going through a mountain with a teaspoon but we were determined this time around. We have seen the results and substantial change here but I will say you’ve got to be a pitbull to do it consistantly. Definitely worth the effort if you can wear the boots. This online blogging is the easy part even if its mentally exhausting. I prefer the boots!

Obama wants to help his euro socialist friends because they still admire him, since they don’t know him like we do, but Obama could care less about America’s problems.   Obama has already given Greece billions of our dollars during their first financial crisis, to help keep them afloat, as did Germany and other European nations. Greece’s first bailout didn’t work I guess, so now they need another, and Obama says he will give more of our borrowed money to keep Greece afloat once again, but who will do that for us next year when our economy comes crashing down, because of Obama’s spending policies that have created huge deficits and a national debt that most of the world doesn’t think we’ll be able to repay, the same policies that got Greece in the trouble they keep suffering from? Thats why the only Treasury Bonds being sold are to the Federal Reserve Board, who prints money to buy them, for the rest of the world and our own investors now refuse to buy them, too risky. China and Japan are selling all they are holding of them too.

  Obama knows exactly what he’s doing, that is, he can count like anybody else, fully realizing the seriousness of America’s growing indebtedness and that, even while it’s worthless play money he prints and uses, America will never be able to pay it back (anybody can look at the numbers and figure that one out). It appears that he’s not planning on screwing America only, but America’s debtor nations as well, even the entire rest of the world. Once it all falls down, he will call for ‘clearing the board’ so the world he wants to rule can ‘start all over again’ — only with him at the top of a new world order, including a ‘revised’ financial system to replace the broken one. It’s all by design as prophesied in the Bible.

USAID: Look it up and see how much money America GIVES AWAY each year (10′s of Billions). Plus each branch of the government when they submit their annual budget has funds to give away to their counterparts in foreign countries 10′s of Billions). These different branch’s most spend every penny of their annual budget, if they don’t spend it then their next years budget will be cut by the amount they didn’t spend. Then think about the add on’s to each Bill pass by congress (10′s of Millions more).
It’s time for Obama to do his job, charity starts at home. America comes first.
The people of Germany are against helping Greece again. Merkel knew’s this, that is why she is keeping a low profile.

How very strange! We have trillions of dollars of debt that we don’t know how we’re going to pay, and yet we are going to provide bailout monies to Greece. Consider the enormity of this situation. Say that you are on the verge of bancruptcy and you have a neighbor down the block who is also on the verge of going bust, and you take the money that you have stolen from your relatives and instead of paying off your debt, you throw the money at the neighbor’s debt. Is there any economics students out there that can see the wisdom in this? In fact why are we throwing billions of dollars all over the world for other countries, but not trying to square away our own debt? OH, I forgot, all of us American people have deep pockets that we cheerfully are willing to have picked by our less than favorite Uncle, so that those who disburse the funds can do whatever their hearts desire is to do with that vast unlimited supply of funds.
