New EPA rules to devastate coal industry

The coal industry is crying foul over new Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations which they say will be among the most be costly rules ever imposed by the agency on coal-fueled power plants.

The result, industry insiders say: substantially higher electricity rates and massive job loss.

“The EPA is ignoring the cumulative economic damage new regulations will cause,” said Steve Miller, president and CEO of the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity (ACCCE). “America’s coal-fueled electric industry has been doing its part for the environment and the economy, but our industry needs adequate time to install clean coal technologies to comply with new regulations. Unfortunately, EPA doesn’t seem to care.”

    Coal is very clean energy If you don’t bellieve me visit a power house. The coal is not burned in the conventional fashion. It is cracked and broken down into a gas which is emmited like a fuel injector. On the other end is the scrubber which acts like a catalytic converter. The epa dosent’t know what they are talking about and should be disbanded and defunded asap.

    Actually, his campaign promise that fits this best is that energy costs would skyrocket under his administration. Why all the sudden the shock and horror of what is going on with the EPA? Barry couldn’t get anything done with Cap&Trade and he is using up a lot of ink on executive orders. Although the EPA is acting on their own, the are completely fearless because they know they have full support of Barry&Co.

This far-left attacky by government-paid drones started in the 1970′s with the global cooling scam: we should disarm our nuclear bombers and fill them with soot to be spread over the poles and so prevent those new glaciers from descending south and crushing the New York skyscrapers to dust. What is totally ignored are the detailed descriptions of faked data, skewed computer programs, politicall revised conclusions by the UN-sponsored far-left clique of biased reviewers – all government-paid drones that no private enterprise would hire. Another thing ignored is the “Global Warming Petition” (see Internet) where 31,487 independent US scientists (including 9,029 of them with PhD degrees) dispute decisively the findings of the UN-sponsored panel; also ignored is the “Manhattan Declaration on Climate Change” (see also Internet) where a smaller number of competent world scientists, about 712, including 142 pure climatologists, state the same – i.e., that the man-caused catastrophic global warming is a farce. The two books by Christopher Horner describing the lies, fakes, phony data, opposite conclusions, redacting by UN political hacks, reverse graphs, etc. are exposed in painful detail.
  In the case of the above mentioned Petition, several eco-nazis had submitted phony names with phony credentials in order to sabotage that effort. It took several years of painstaking and expensive effort (we contributed private money for that) to clean up the list from those saboteurs and verify all academic and professional data of the signatories.
  To put this whole conspiracy in terms of numbers, let me say that the projected world-threatening increase of carbon dioxide of 100 ppm (parts per million) by the end of this century would increase the termal absorptivity of the atmosphere by one-eighth of one percent; that is the definition of something totally negligible. On the other hand the sun cycles of cooling and heating are thousands of times more powerful with regard to the carbon dioxide in the air; when the sun is cold the oceans absorb many millions of tons of it; and when the sun heats up the oceans release the carbon dioxide in quantities thousands of times bigger than anything the mankind could produce. To illustrate this point in more accessible terms to somebody who who is not a climatologist or a scientist or an engineer; the argument of catastrophic anthropogenic (human-caused) global warming issued by our panic driven socialist/marxist government-paid hacks is like saying that a burp of a lonely wolf in Alaska will transform Florida into a Sahara-like desert.

What is he really planning? The unemployment situation is really dire, and the percentage is far above 9.2%…those figures are maniuplated. I am among the unemployed and hear about the financial difficulties first hand. Gasoline rising, our utility bills rising, destruction of the dollar and inflation, and remember when the FED calculates the inflation rate they do not use fuel costs and groceries in their calculation. What are they going to pull just prior to the election and would cause more turmoil? The list is endless. We all need to be engaged in removing this man and any other liberal from office. We must maintain majority in the House and take the Senate. Obama’s war chest will be used by Senators and Representatives up for election in their home states…let’s not be emotional…let’s get engaged in the takeover of the White House.     I love coal miners, but you have to remember they are UNION members. They voted the way their UNION told them to vote! I was shocked that ANY coal miner, or a family member of a coal miner, would vote for Obama! I have questioned them on their reasons for voting for Obama, and they are the ones who said it was because of the instructions from the UNION.       First of all I want to say that not all coal mines are union. I’d say that less than 50% are. I am a retired union miner and would like to add I, like many other miners voted the way we wanted. Although the union bosses backed Obama, many miners voted for McCain. There is a conservative movement growing rapidly in the coal miner work force.

I believe that burning coal produces at least half of our electricity, I may be wrong, so how happy are those who voted for this abomination be when the lights go out? Who will they blame? The next time you hear some liberal quack spout off about so called renewable energy give them this challenge:

How do we identify just what is a “renewable” source of energy? I have come up with a common sense set of criteria.

First the source has to produce more energy than it takes to operate and maintain whatever system is being evaluated. Secondly it must produce enough energy to completely replicate itself entirely when it wears out and have energy left over to use. Take for example a wind generator. If it was truly renewable it would produce enough energy to cover every step from site acquisition, site preparation, the manufacture of every one of its components, on site construction of the tower and generator, maintenance, the distribution infrastructure, eventual replacement of itself and still have energy left over to use for other purposes. The same would apply for “renewable” solar, hydro and biomass.

None can do it! They all depend on fossil fuels to mine the raw material, refine it, produce all the parts for the renewable system, maintain it and then repeat the whole process when the system needs replacement when worn out.

After we get rid of Obama and most of the Socialist Democrats, then we need to abolish the EPA because it is unconstitutional. Only the Congress and the Senate have the right to draw up legislation and the President has to sign it into law before it is enacted. Any laws made and enacted outside this process is unconstitutional. That also goes for the likes of the FCC, the FDA, the AFTE and any other agency that makes up rules as they go along without running it through the Congress, Senate and President FIRST!

Renewable energy is a joke. Like the electric cars are. who would pay 40Kplus for a car that plugs in and needs a 3k electrical adaptor at your house.
Nobody know how long they will run for and the longevity of the battery nor what they will do with them after.
This president has spent our money trying to “create” jobs and has destroyed far more in the process.

Obama went public with his threats to demolish the coal industry all on the basis of AGW (anthropomorphic global warming). That will be the quickest route to ruining America because it will mean all industries that run on fossil fuel will have to pay the federal government extreme taxes and Obama has threatened to make coal companies go bankrupt. Guess what that does to American jobs, consumer costs and our welfare . . . undermines them totally! Obama is the enemy of America and he is fulfilling what Jeremiah Wright said, “God bless America?
