Perry

Two Republican congressmen from Texas are confident that Gov. Rick Perry will run for president and have said they will support him.

The Houston Chronicle reported Thursday that Reps. John Culberson and Kevin Brady are happily on the Perry bandwagon.

“Yes he is going to run….He will light up our base,” Culberson told the Texas paper. “He has a great record. And Texas is truly a role model for the rest of the nation.”

Im going to be the anarchist version of James Okeefe, the ACORN and medicare guy. going around and interviewing wall street banksters (parasites, misquitos, and flys). I’ll provoke them to tell me how much they hate everybody but themselves. They’ll just think im another one of them.

    • Dave Craddock

You’re out there, aren’t you? Out in the great wide open, a rebel without a clue.

    • Los

HEY DEstroy Capitalism at first i felt that yo were simply a bonehead but buddy — you are sick aren’t you?

    • http://verizon Albert Lloyd Grounds

      Your ignorance is blinding.

    • jim

Stop replying to this guy he’s just jerking you string. If he really believed all the silly crap he puts out he wouldn’t be on this site or at least wouldn’t comment.

  • Captain PJ

As a conservative Californian, anyone looking for Democracy, good government, businesss and job growth, the best medical care, a lower cost of living and taxes should look to texas as the model and to Rick Perry as the model governor.

    • pj

HE IS A TRUE AMERICAN AND ONE I WOULD INDEED CALL A GREAT LEADER OF THIS GREAT COUNTRY!!!!!!!HE’S HAD MY VOTE FROM DAY ONE AND I WILL CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR HIM – HE IS A GREAT MAN OF GOD!!!!!MAY GOD BLESS HIM AND HELP US GET BACK ONTO THE PATH THAT GOD WOULD HAVE US TAKE!!!!!!!THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAD BETTER WAKE UP AND GET BACK ON THEIR KNEES AND ASK FORGIVNESS AND PRAY THAT GOD WOULD AGAIN BLESS THIS GREAT COUNTRY OF OURS

    • http://yahoo.com tod

Perry is a proud member of the Bilderbergs ,and their New World Order.

    • dfrank

Who isn’t, Tod? You couldn’t find enough politicians to run a good sized supermarket without having somebody who is tied to some of those organizations that most of us dislike: Bilderbergers, World Bank, Federal Reserve, IMF, CFR, etc. Oh Yeah and most of all let’s be sure not to get someone that anybody calls a RINO (Conservative for Racist)

Geez, Todd, we have to get somebody who hasn’t been living under a rock for the last fifty years. Mr. or Ms. Perfect know better than to get into politics. We’re going to have to settle for somebody with whom a lot of us have problems. It’s just not a perfect world out there.

    • Hank

Just give up then, you pussy! The cart-pushers at the supermarket are more trustworthy than these Commies and Bilderbergers we have to work with. You have it ass-backwards you brainwashed tool! Ifg there were Bilderbergers in 1776, who would they be? King George or Patrick Henry? You Tory-Loyalist Coward. Just keep paying your taxes without representation despite the fact they have violated your rights as an Englishman. Where would you be if Paul Revere was saying ‘Dump the Tea’ today? You would be whining about how the colonists couldn’t run a supermarket and how we needed old England to be our Nanny! Rick Perry is a POS and will never get my vote. Romney in Boots and a Hat, nothing more.

    • http://x Washington22

Capt…………That’s exactly what I’m looking at. Texas is the example to the nation of just how Regean-type policies can work. When Perry announces, the Republican candidates will be turned on their ear……There will be excitement and enthusiam screamed from the roof tops. The media will be in a tail spin from the reaction and they will have to work overtime to counteract the happenings. Romney can just fold up, and the others will have to re-align………Hopefully Perry will have the good sense to pick a Bachnmann, or Palin or Col West or Marco Rubio to complete his ticket and launch us into the Whitehouse. I can hardly contain MY enthusiam. Perry is stealthy, not unlike Palin, just “working” the media by NOT announcing until the last minute. He won’t take any BS from the media, either. He’s not into their games.

    • Captain PJ

I think of Perry gets the nomination, he would pick one of those people you mentioned. Palin won’t opt for a VP position–if she’s in , she’s in it for the Presidency. Perry and Bachmann or Perry and Rubio have a real nice sound to it.

    • Hank

Bachmann is my second pick, but if she runs with Perry I will sit it out.

Perry=Obama + white skin + Texan accent – Marxist rhetoric.

      Perry = Romney + handgun + boots.

      Perry = LBJ – 100 LBS.

Perry = Bush – the pedigree.

Perry = McCain – Palin – Broken Arms + he joked about secession one time.

Perry = Reagan – Real Conservatism + Demagoguery

Perry = a gay version of Chuck Norris – three testicles – the guts + a shave + elitism

      Perry = a jealous chimpanzee – a banana + 6 million years of evolution

      Perry = Herbert Hoover – the hairdo – a decent education + 90 years

Perry = Jefferson Davis + Sam Huston – the courage – the conviction – the cojones

Perry = TSA groper + a well known name + support from neocons- a badge – the uniform

Perry = Palin + a phallus – everything good about Palin

Perry = Ron Paul – a real record – free market credentials – 15 years – the authority granted to him by the Tenth Amendment + more authority than he can handle anyways, regardless of the Tenth Amendment + youth and inexperience (a Reagan quote for all you fake Reaganites out there) + a past as a Democrat

    • http://www.stormshelters.co BenFranklin

Bravo Hank!! I think that comparison list is a classic! Alot of sheep don’t realize how CFR/Rothschild/Bildeberg ol Rick Perry is…

    • Hank

Thanks Ben Franklin. haha. As good a name as any.

    • John Jaye

Marco Rubio was born in Florida BEFORE his parents became naturalized US Citizens as such he is not a natural born citizen. That requires parents that are BOTH US citizens at the time of the individuals birth. Some confuse US Citizen at birth, with natural born citizen. Anchor babies are US citizens at birth but not natural born citizens. Obama is a dual citizen. And I don’t mean Kenya. His father was a British Citizen when Obama was born,he has never given up that citizenship. His mother was US citizen thus the dual citizenship. Obama is not eligible and sorry to say neither is Marco Rubio.

    • Barbara Lemley

I wish people would get informed before they repeat a misnomer … Rubio IS eligible to be president. Obama is NOT.

    • Nonne

Obama would have ONLY been an American citizen if he could PROVE he was born in America. This is why he will go to ANY LENGTH to ‘find’ a birth certificate that purports his being born in America. While you are correct in stating that Obama’s mother was an American citizen, the fact that her baby was NOT born in the USA is what is keeping Obama from possible dual citizenship. The mother was too young to meet the requirements to ‘pass on’ her American citizenship to her baby when that baby was born overseas. Obama is NOT a dual citizen. He has NEVER held legal American citizenship.

    • Nonne

I have followed your learned comments for a long time, Captain PJ, and what you wrote increases my confidence in Perry as a potential prez. candidate. Thanks.

    • http://verizon Albert Lloyd Grounds

Possibly but I wonder why Rick Perry appears on the list of Bilderberg Group attendees and that is why I have reservations about him.

    • jim

Perry is not the man for the White house. Do you not remember how he tried to force little girls to get those shots though unproven were said to prevent a type of uterine cancer? It was proven however that those shots did cause death in some of those who had taken the so called vaccine. Perry is also all for that super highway connecting Mex. with Can.also known as the drug runners superhighway. But they will pay tolls by the way.

  • Ron Larkin

Need a job ??,,come to Texas. Want tax free income ?? Texas has no state income tax, you earned it, you keep it, period. Want affordable housing and low real Estate taxes ?? Come to Texas. Want a nice laidback lifestyle ??,,,Yep, Texas is the place. Want good schools and a healthy environment to raise your kids,,find it here in Texas. We’ll even loan you our Governor, he can do for y’all what he did for us. Support him, and take advantage of his wisdom, cause he wont be available forever. Nuff said.

    • Hank

He is McCain in Cowboy boots with an accent. Oh yeah, he shot a coyote once and once joked about secession. To assume that just because he is outspoken (hardly more than any other candidate) and a Texan makes him Presidential material is pure folly. LBJ and both Big Government Bushes were Texans. Having said that, being a Texan is not automatically a bad thing, but in this case, it is the ONLY reason Perry has any support. Texans are well known for supporting their own regardless of party (Perry himself has admitted to this), and God Bless them for it. But, in this day and age that just ain’t good enough. No state save Virginia has a good track record for presidents, but I would still vote for a Texan if they were the right man. Perry is not the right man. I will sit this one out if Perry is the nominee. I will take my chances with the commie we have now if the alternative is for me to water down my beliefs to support Bush III. The man is a NAFTA, Super Highway, open Borders stooge. All this recent stuff coming from him that people are crediting him for is posturing. There will be people claiming to be from Texas on this site that will claim otherwise, but they have no credibility in this discussion. They should be trusted as much as a Chicagoan rooting for Obama or a New Yorker rooting for Schumer or a Montanan (like myself) rooting for that fat bastard Schweitzer or that old pervert Baucus. I don’t even have to bring up the Bilderberger crap to discredit him. His record as Lt. Gov. and Gov. should speak for itself. The man supported Gore in 88 and only joined the R P in the 1990′s. Yes, Reagan was a Dem too, but there is no real comparison. A Democrat from the 60′s was at least twice as conservative as a Republican from the 90′s. PERRY IS A FRAUD! Just like Bush was! Bush was an ‘okay’ Gov, but as soon as he got in the white house, and a part from the occasional token conservatism from him, he was a mimic of Clinton. The same thing will happen with Perry. But, go ahead, vote for him just because he is Romney in a Cowboy hat. Be my guest. hope you don’t regret it in the morning!

  • MONICA

Rick Perry will be our next president!!!!!

  • Mike

If you want the world’s most powerful globalists, the Bilderbergs, choosing the President of the United States again – Rick Perry is your candidate.

  • Bushmaster

I hate to have to be the one to clue all y’all Perry sheeple in, BUT… Perry is a RINO!!!!!

And although he give lip service to Border Secutity AND being anti-ILLEGAL ALIEN, this is just talk, AND DURING ALL [except this last] of our Legislative sessions he has spoken little of doing anything to limit the effect of ILLEGAL ALIENS.

Even in his CALLED SPECIAL SESSION a few weeks back, and even though he “suggesteded” legialation eleminating “Sanctuary Cities,” he DID NOT PRESS the issue at all, and thus NOTHING WAS DONE to stop Sanctuary Cities management, LIKE HOUSTON, from instructing their departments [especially the Police Department] to NOT DO ANYTHING even if they clearly suspect an individual to be and ILLEGAL ALIEN.

Perry and his BUSINESS AND INDUSTRIAL FINANCIAL SUPPORTERS WANT ILLEGAL ALIEN WORKERS TO DILUTE THE WORKFORCE, AND REDUCE WAGES!

    • Bill Lee

Anyone with half a brain can look at Perry’s record and see he is the best candidate, not perfect…no one is but is better than your narrow painting makes him. You have little to say in my book. Go read his accomplishments on the internet and bite your tongue.

    • Jackie

While I certainly think we should all do our homework on all the candidates, I think what we have on this thread are a bunch of Obamabots who are terrified of Perry.

    • Hank

Said a member of on of the Democratic Parties’ most loyal Demographics.

    • Hank

      one not on

    • Sophie

HE WOULD BE BETTER THAN obummer!! ANYBODY would be better than obummer.

    • Apache6

Perry would be better tan Romney, but NOT as good as Bachmann!!

  • STEVEY

    PERRY FOR PRESIDENT !
    HE & PALIN ARE THE ” A ” TEAM.
THE U.S. IS A CHRISTIAN NATION, NOT A MUSLIM
    MISTAKE.
PERRY IS A SOUTHERN GENTLEMAN AND HAS THE ” GIDDY-UP “TO RESTART OUR NATION.
WE LUST NEED TO KICK BARRY TO THE CURB & PUT A REAL PRESIDENT IN HIS PLACE.

    • The other Dan

RIGHT! We need a person in there who will actually DO SOMETHING! Not like what we have now, who tasks his evil minions (Reid and Pelosi) to do his bidding while he “leads from behind”. And, true also, we need a Christian back in the driver’s seat. (Just to be nice, Happy Ramadan, Bar!)

    • 3 Serving

      Perry – YES

I would vote for Cain but really can’t go for Palin. What actually does she stand for? She seems more like a movie star promoting her latest film.

    • http://x Washington22

I could really go for that ticket. Stevey. Perry is seriously a good candidate, 10 years experience under his belt. At this point in time, this is what America needs…..EXPERIENCE……….and Christian ethics and values. This man COULD and WILL beat Ostupid. Sarah Palin as his VP would be frosting on the cake……………….

    • Gary Price

Much as I admire both Palin and Bachmann, our principal enemy in the world, even more than the Demoncrats, are the Mohammedans. They believe women are chattel, property, not quite human. Maybe not the best choice to spearhead this fight.
      My ticket….Perry and Rubio.
      Vietnam Vet

    • Hank

Palin and Bachmann are tougher than either of those. Rubio is better than the ‘manly’ Perry, though. Perry is the canard by which we will all be destroyed. he is the final nail in the coffin. Obama may have been the hardest hammered nail, but Perry will be the last.

  • William Martin

The job is big enough for all: Perry or Christie for Pres., the other for VP. Bachmann for Sec. of State and Palin for Atty Gen’l. Cain for Treasury and Joe Arpaio for Homeland Security. I’ll dismantle Education and surely we have someone to do away with the do-nothings at Energy! How’s that for a team? BTW-Masters in Edn, 52 years in computers and downsizing consulting, int’l experience, awards, success! Do I need more? Oh, 12 years of being BS’d by living in The MD/DC area. More?

    • am2sweet

So, get out there and ‘get er done’.

    • Sophie

William Martin, you got my attention.

    • The other Dan

Ooooo, Palin for Atty. Gen. I like! Can you just imagine it??

    • http://x Washington22

NO Dan. Sarah Palin for VP, but if not, then as Secretary of the Interior. We need her expertise in gas and oil. Drill baby, DRILL…………….

    • The other Dan

Ok, I can go for that. But I really don’t think she’d take the VP slot again. But Interior would be great, too. I think we have a wealth of riches. And what do the Dems have? They’re actually the ones who are pretty thin. Biden is an also-ran. Hey, how about Debbie Really-a-man Schultz??? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

    • 3 Serving

Still won’t vote for Bachman. As a Representative she could have started charges to impeach Obama but didn’t so in my book she doesn’t have what it takes.

    • Captain PJ

Neither did anyone else. Do you know why they didn’t? Because the US Congress had signed all the papers necessary to legitimize his presidency (Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid signed two versions).

Several politicians (including Bachmann) have been working behind the scenes to get private citizens to file suit and even supported the suit which is in the federal courts now challenging the president’s legitimacy.

    • Gary Price

Why are we not hearing more calls for dismantling some of these massive departments which toil not, neither do they spin? Education teaches no one, Energy pumps no oil, Agriculture plants no crops, just inspects meat and prints food stamps (Dept of Health and Human Services could do both those).
Let’s quit talking about slowing the growth of government and start pruning seriously.

    • John Jaye

“Palin for Atty Gen’l” She is not an attorney It is required that they be an attorney in good standing with the ABA. “Cain for Treasury”having owned or run a business does not make anyone an economist or finance person. He does not have the necessary degree for the position. There are actual requirements for the positions.
Even if I believe that the persons you suggested could do a better job than than those that have the job now.
“Joe Arpaio for Homeland Security” great choice. And I can’t find any info that the Senate has imposed any requirements. As far as Perry for pres. I am not hitching myself to any wagon with out first checking them out. They all make speeches telling us what the polls tell them we want to hear. I need to look up his record for the past ten years.I will check out what he has said and see how that matches with what he did. I am not a one issue voter, there is just too much that has to be taken into account to go with a one issue solver person.

    • proudamerican

You may be correct John but remember you are required to be a natural born citizen to be president also. The gloves are off John

    • http://windowslive mary m

Awesome william, you have it all worked out. pretty good job :)

    • http://x Washington22

      Great thoughts, Barney.

    • Hank

Does Palin have a law degree, or is this just your wet dream?

  • http://verizon Ann Rand

Perry looks WONDERFUL compared to any democrat!!I would vote for “JOE SHIT THE RAGMAN ” if it would get thie band of thieves and liars out of government!!!!

  • JUDY

WITHTHE HO-HUM GROUP RUNNING FOR THE GOP AT THE MOMENT, GOV. PERRY WOULD BE A BRIGHT STAR TO THE REPUBLICANS. RUN PERRY RUN!!!! WE NEED HIM TO RUN!!

    • Bill Lee

Perry would be great but I totally disagree with your characterization of the other candidates: Bachmann, Cain, Palin, Rubio, Christie…all are excellent choices. Take of your media induced blinders.

  • Donna

This Texan says NO to Perry! HE is a big government politician statist! NAFTA, wanted to force 6th grade girls to be vaccinated sexual diseases, raised taxes, Texas gov size has doubled, and most importantly he did not protect women, children and the elderly in limiting TSA molestation, etc. etc. Say NO to Perry!

    • Hank

Hmm. Sounds just like what Bush did to the Country. Hmm.

  • Captain PJ

Imagine if the Texas good life model spread across the entire nation.

-Texas model added 37% of all net U.S. jobs since the so-called recovery began.

-Texas leads the nation with six cities: Austin, Dallas, El Paso, Houston, McAllen, and San Antinio–on the top 20 Overall Strongest Peforming Metro Areas list in Brooking Institute
    s “MetroMonitor” quarterly report.

-Texas dominates Kiplinger’s Cities with the Lowest Cost of Living list in 2011, claiming five of the top 10 spots.

-Texas moved past NY over the past decade to become the nation’s second-largest economy, according to a USA Today examination of data released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Though California (my home) retained its first-place ranking as the state with the largest economy, the article indicated that Califronia’s share of the national economy, which peaked in 1990, shrank faster than all but three states from 2000 to 2010. Noting the growth of Texas, USA Today suggested the Lone Star state may soon challenge California for the top spot.

    • Captain PJ

-Texas is taking lawsuit reform to another level.

-Forbes magazine recently released its annual list of Best Cities for Jobs, with Texas cities topping the lists for best big, mid-size and small cities for jobs.

-CEO Magazine ranks Texas best state for business for seventh consecutive year.

-Texas ranked top exporting state for ninth consecutive year.

-For the 6th year in a row, Texas eclipsed every other state and took the lead as the No. 1 magnet in 2010 based on Allied’s report, which tracks U.S. migration patterns.

-Today, there are more Fortune 500 companies located in Texas than any other state in the union.

    • Captain PJ

People, prosperity follows liberty and morality. In Texas, the Second and Tenth Amendments are reality, not a punch line. The sanctity of life and protections for the unborn and traditional marriage are protected by the Texas State Constitution and statutes.

It explains why I everytime I travel to Texas on business, I see more and more cars with California license plates all over the Texas landscape. DOESN’T GOVENOR RICK PERRY DESERVE SOME OF THE CREDIT FOR TEXAS’ GROWTH AND PROSPERITY?

    • Bree,

“Prosperity follows liberty and morality” says it all for Texas and our nation. Now Gov. Perry has been the only Leader to call upon God for this nation with fasting and prayer and you can just bet that Texas will prosper even more way ahead of the pack like a shining city set on a hill. Take notice of Texas people, Gov. Perry is doing everything right and God blesses righteousness.

    • Captain PJ

Very good point Bree. Govenor Paul LePage of Maine isued a prolamation in support of Perry’s naming August 6 as a “day of Prayer and Fasting for Our Nation.” Perry and LePage are following the examples of political leaders throught American history, including some who affirmed the First Amendment.

….and boy did Perry and Governor LePage of Maine take the heat from the progressives and the liberal media.

    • Bree,

Oh, I am sure they did Captain, but we must support and uphold those that are doing what is right for America and these Govenors are leading the way. AUG.6 – America’s Prayer Meeting. Patriots need to pray! Join us!

    • WalterC

What utter nonsense from the both of you. The answers to America’s problems won’t be found on our knees or in heaven, but by using our brains, our reason and in compassionate action. Govenor Perry’s distasteful use of his civil office to plan and dictate a religious course of action to “all citizens” is deeply offensive to many citizens, including Texans like me, as well as to our secular form of government.

Besides Captain, there is no presidence for such behavior by an elected official…none whatsoever!

    • Captain PJ

Walter…there you go again, speaking or writing without thinking. As recent as Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, LBJ and one of the most famous Democrats of all Franklin D. Roosevelt, have all invoked God and Prayer into the national scene.

      Example of a Democratic President:

On June 6, 1944, President FDR led the nation in prayer over the radio as allied forces stormed the beaches on D-Day. He called us, not just to a day of prayer, but to a continuation of prayer each new day.

    • Hank

The Tenth has been deballed for 150 + years. Perry, like ALL STATE GOVERNORS going back to at least the 1930’s, is a minion of the State and a parasite on the Constitution and Individual Liberty, all his tough talk (better known as Demagoguery) notwithstanding.

    • Anthony San Diego

Found this last week on another site, has anyone seen it?

“The next president was chosen in Istanbul Turkey in 2007 even before Obama took office. Obama was only meant to serve one term. Obama was set up as a stooge and he was doomed to fail from day one. Rick perry will be the next president regardless of how many votes he gets. It’s a done deal.”

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

yes, I believe you put on here last week. NO, no one has seen it but you.

    • Captain PJ

You keep asking if anyone has seen it…we keep asking where you saw it and what is the source…but you never answer the quesion. So what are we to think?

    • Hank

Whether you trust what he said or not about the Bilderberger bogey-man is irrelevant. I don’t need to bring up that nefarious group to discredit Perry. His AWFUL record says it all. Perry is to the GOP as Obama is to the Country. It is all down hill from there if he gets elected. No breaks.

Just more of the same vicious political cycle that you have all grown accustomed too at the expense of future generations.

Socialists like Hoover, FDR, and Truman, then moderate bumblers like Eisenhower and Kennedy. A Socialist like LBJ and Nixon, then a bumbler like Ford. A Socialist like Carter, then a bumbler (albeit slightly better than before) like Reagan, sad to say. Socialists like Bush I and Clinton, then a Bumbler/Socialist like Bush II. An outright Commie like Obama, and then a tough talking southern gentleman bumbler like Perry. Great way to save the country. You people are my freaking heroes!

      PERRY IS A FRAUD!

  • CRUSADER

I want someone to take it to this failed President and be able to articulate to the independent voters what this guy has done to our country and our futures and I hope Perry is the man to do it.

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

Yes, I think he will. We need some brave people for this is going to be quite a battle. ovomit has no plans to give up until he makes us all pay for whatever he considers as slights to whomever. Plus the fact that he is just plain POWER HUNGRY.

  • JUDY

    MAY I SAY I

  • JUDY

I AGEE PALIN, BACHMAN, CAIN AND WEST ARE FORMABLE CANDIDATES. BUT GOV PERRY WITH ONE OF THOSE CANIDATES COULD BEAT OBAMA IN 2012
I AGEE PALIN, BACHMAN, CAIN,WEST ARE GOOD CANDIDATES. THEY WOULD GOOD RUNNING MATES WITH GOV.PERRY.WE NEED A TEAM THAT CAN BEAT OBAMA IN 2012!

    1

  • Dean wolf

a couple of independent sources revealed that perry is fond of the nafta trade agreement. let’s stay focused on one thing. United States independence. And of course ending the out sourcing of jobs. Or as I like to put it ” exploitation ” of cheaper labor. I am not comfortable with guys going around the outside and playing the game of “keep your eyes on the card” . In other words go with someone like Ron Paul. Long track record of investigating a true cause of many fake bank rolls and money manipulation by your friends and mine ( not ) the Federal reserve .

    • The other Dan

Nobody is perfect, but if we keep knit-picking over all our quite capable candidates, we risk losing in 2012. Our best way to ensure an independant U.S. is to bounce President Crybaby out on his bony ass!

    • http://x Washington22

Dan, nit-picking, at this time, is all part of the process of elimination. It has to be done. Don’t forget that it’s early, yet. In a few short weeks, after some more of the debates, we’ll be knuckling down. It’s still time for lots of serching and comparing of thoughts. I’ve ruled out several, such as Ron Paul, Donald Trump and Herman Cain. Each man has SOME good attributes, but none of them are “well rounded” in my view. I’m also NOT interested in Mitt Romney or Tim Pawlenty. Libertarians are a diffinite NO for me. I’m still appraising several candidates and only the debates will do it for me. What do you think so far?

    • The other Dan

No, you’re right. I was just trying to point out that every one of the candidates have their issues.

I agree with your other points as well. Trump sounded good, but what does he do for an encore? And if he selfishly decides to run on a thrd party ticket, he’ll get the crybaby re-elected. I think Ron Paul should be appointed Fed Chief!! LOL!! Herman Cain is good but I don’t think can win. Romney is blah, but I must say, if you watch what Pawlenty has been saying, it’s very conservative and he’s hitting spot on right at President Crybaby.

Right now, I like a Perry/Bachmann ticket. But I’m open to re-thinking it.

  • Janice Fortin

Dear Gov Perry believes in open borders, benefits for invading criminal illegals, pays college tuition for illegals, but never paid one cent for a deserving American. He is more of what you have already got haunting the white house.

    • http://x Washington22

Actually, Janice, I am still reviewing Gov Perry and his agenda. I need to see him on the debates and hear the questions posed and then hear his answer. Something tells me that if he wants the support of conservatives and the Tea Partiers, he’ll stand AGAINST what you suggest……….We’ll see….He is a Christian, with values and ethics and he has a stellar record on jobs and business. But for me, he’s going to have to show his insistance on closing the borders to illegals and a plan to get rid of those who are here illegally, and quickly. He’s going to have to talk about how our laws that are already on the books MUST be inforced agressively. Without an end to the INVASION, our nation is UNSAFE and UNPROTECTED……..If he addresses these issues, he’d get the vote of 70% of Americans who realize that the illegals are half our problem……..I’m sure that these questions will come up in the debates for ALL the candidates to take their stand on. Then we’ll know……

    • Captain PJ

Hey, old friend, Washington22…I think you have the right attitude regarding Perry. There is no doubt he’s done wonders for his state and he’s been doing it for many years.

I do know that his position on illegal immigration is the direct opposite of the Obama administration. In fact, he has openly criticized the president (over the past two years) regarding his lack of border security and the lack of intervention in regards to the Mexican drug cartels wars which keep spilling acrosss the Texas border.

Perry supported Arizona Govenor Jan Brewer’s passage of their illegal immigration enforcement bill and we all remember how Perry refused to meet with Obama the 2nd & third time he visited Texas. if you recall, the first time Perry handed a message to the President’s aide outlining his frustration with the administration’s approach to illegal immigration.

When it comes to Illegal Immigration, I think you have nothing to worry about Perry’s position. In fact, all of the Republican candidates have similar positions regarding illegal immigration and border security.

    • Hank

Nice try, but that is BS. Anyone that supported NAFTA or the Superhighway or Bush’s open border policies and the Texas education system is pro-illegal. Perry is a FRAUD! A FAKE! A HOAX!

    • Hank

So the right attitude is whenever someone says they WILL research Perry, but in the mean time they like him, but when someone says they HAVE researched him and that they don’t like him, they don’t have the right attitude?

    • Hank

My dog is a Christian. Perry is a pretender. He may genuinely be a Christian, but he is still a closet liberal. He might not like gays or abortion, but the conservatism stops there!

    • DEFEATCONSERVATISM

YOU TELL EM’ HANK…PERRY IS A PUSSY. RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT.

    • Hank

Either one could beat your Uncle Tom, BOY! That does not mean that they are on the same wavelength though. Perry is a Huckster. Electable, yes, but a Huckster!

    • Hank

Go ahead. ‘Research him’. All you have to do is read the Weekly Standard and National Review. they will tell you exactly ho to vote for. Just like all the other mind-numb zombies.

  • http://verizon Ann Rand

Marco Rubio would be a formidable candidate for V.P.. He is very bright and not afraid to speak his mind. We need people like that for this is going to be an uphill battle. I hope all of you saw O’Reilly last night. He is not doing us any favors. i sent him a couple of e mails. Hope someone else will do the same.

    • http://x Washington22

Ann, I saw Orielly last night and was thourally discusted with him. He was arrogant, hogged the debate, was obnoxious and most of all, he was WRONG……..Yes, I am e-mailing him, too. Every now and then, he really gets under my skin with his self-rightouness, even being WRONG on an issue. He is off- key, often, about Michelle Bachmann, and sometimes with Sarah Palin. But then, so is Charles Krauthammer and Karl Rove.

    • Captain PJ

I missed it. What was he saying about Bachmann? I did read about his bantering with Laura Ingrahm.

    • DEFEATCONSERVATISM

O’REILLY SAID THAT CAPTAIN PAJAMAS KILLED INNOCENT WOMEN AND CHILDREN WHILE SERVING IN CENTRAL AMERICA AND WAS A INSTRUMENT OF DEATH FOR RONALD REAGAN’S ILLEGAL WAR AGAINST NICARUAGA

    • http://x Washington22

Capt. when Orielly had Bachmann on his show, he was arrogant and pushy, trying to show that he is the “tough interviewer”. It borders on obnoxious………..and rude. I’ve seen him do it to Palin too, trying to show his expertise as the guy who won’t let them get away with anything. Instead of coming off that way, he comes across as an ass………….you’ve seen it. The ladies held their own and he really didn’t score any points, but he’d never admit it………

    • Hank

Ask Sauerkraut and Rogue and maybe even Orally who they like. They will probably say Perry. Why wouldn’t they? He is Bush’s chosen successor and Krauthammer and Rove were Bush’s stooges. Or was Bush their stooge?

    • http://x Washington22

No, Hank, I think they’d say ROMNEY. He’s probably more tradidtional to them. They try to appear noncommittial but as we near the end of the cycle, they’ll be more revealing. If Perry gets in, they MAY jump ship.

    • Hank

Hey Washington, you may be right, but I know who their second is if Romney is their First. But, enough with the semantics. Perry = Romney + Coyote Pelt + Texas Accent.

    • The other Dan

O’Reilly had me riled too. He isn’t doing his homework like he used to. I think he’s running off the seat of his pants and he’s way out of touch anymore. I thought Laura Ingraham was going to jump out of her skin! I think what clarifed the situation for me was Sen. Chambliss on Hannity’s radio show the other day. There are 2 issues. The debt and the debt ceiling. Obama has successfully confused the 2 together for everyone. O’Reilly seemed to think that the debt ceiling was all important or catastrophe awaits. Bull. If he properly did the background work, he would have found that S&P and Moody’s would STILL lower our credit rating even if the debt ceiling is raised but nothing else is done on the debt! He was so infuriating.

Plus, as a Teaparty member, I was offended by his comparing me to criminals and terrorists from the 60’s!

    • http://x Washington22

Yes, Dan, I too am a Tea Party member and I was discusted with the comments. Orielly OBVIOUSLY DOESN”T get just WHAT the Tea Party is. He thinks that his SPIN is the correct idea. Laura Ingrahm was squirming and obviously didn’t agree. My 40 year old son refuses to watch Orielly anymore. He says he is a jerk and a “moderate”, NOT a conservative…….Wow! I’d be insulted if anyone called me a MODERATE……………………

    • The other Dan

Yeah! A MODERATE?? Them’s fightin’ words!

    • Captain PJ

As far as I am concerned being a true conservative is being moderate. Moderate is being rational, logical, compassionate, religious, appreciative for what we’ve got and our family; love of country….

I hate the way Liberals have hijacked our language…now, according to them conservatives are extremeists and liberals are moderate. “Progressives”…I see nothing progressive about their agenda…absolutely nothing. Returning to a fuedal or communal society is not progressive as far as I am concerned.

    • DEFEATCONSERVATISM

YOU LYING PIECE OF SHIT. CAPTAIN YOU ARE RIGHT OF ATILLA THE HUN. YOU MURDERED INNOCENT WOMEN AND CHILDREN AND YOU WILL HAVE TO ANSWER FOR YOUR SINS

    • http://x Washington22

Capt.. the word “moderate” is slippery. Let’s define……..To me a moderate is John McCain or Mitt Romney or Bill Orielly. Do you align yourself with them? Me either. So I call myself a conservative, not an extremist. I am fiscally conservative, I want lower taxes and less governmental intrusion. I am Christian and I go to church and I respect the Ten Commandments and the holy bible. I believe in TRADITIONAL marriage and I do not believe in the gay agenda. I believe in CLOSED borders and “tradidtional immigration” to the United States of America. I salute the flag and celebrate ALL of our tradidional holidays. I support the right to life and I support capital punishment. To me this is a conservative……………….{Hope I didn’t forget anything} I think that you and I are only disagreeing on our difinitions.

  • http://http/aol.com sean murry

i heard he is with the Bliburgers.

  • Art Hagar

Perry/Bachmann pres and vice pres… Palin, Secretary of the Interior, so she can fire the EPA and then pass “Drill Baby Drill”… Herman Cain, Secretary of State… Allen West. Secretary of Defense… Stick this ticket where the sun never shines BHO!!!

    • The other Dan

And Ron Paul for Federal Reserve Chief. Hmmm, how about Mark Levin for Attorney General??

    • Hank

No! Andrew Napolitano for Attorney General. I wouldn’t trust Levin with my dog. Ron Paul rocks though.

    • Hank

Levin = Yenta + Hysterectomy! He is the Neocon’s Neocon. He interprets the Constitution through the lens of a statist. He is a Hobbesian Authoritarian who uses the rhetoric of Liberty. Pretty common these days. *sniff* Leviathan would be sooo proud! *snuffle*

    • http://x Washington22

Dan, I think that Mark Levin is in poor health……..But I do like him or would take Judge Napolatino for the position.

  • Dean wolf

how long will you folks continue to have your head up your arse ??? LbJ, FdR, and the likes are family members or married in members of Rockafeller, and owners of some the biggest arms manufacturing corps. that pledge alligence to the dollar. The wars that have been fought are for nothing. Hitler was brought on by the banks money. and at the same time false flag events as pearl harbor,Vietnam, and 911 are just some of the few that shook your passion enough to charge off to war blind. … my point about perry is his pocket is already lined… and Americas interest is the lint that will fall out. how is it that religion blinds you from truth and sets you up so easily ? are wanting armegeddon?

  • Maggie McC

Perry-West or Perry-Cain would take the country. Sorry Rubio is not eligible for president but he could be very effective in the Cabinet. Whites, Blacks, and Latinos would likely go for either of these tickets. The all have BRAINS and moral values, thank Heaven.

    • Hank

Cain is a TARP whore and a Federal Reserve Minion! West is okay, but he would have to lower his standards to run with Perry.

    • http://x Washington22

Sorry Hank, I disagree with you. Perry and West would be just fine together and would respect each other.

    • Hank

Perhaps. But he would still be lowering his standards.

  • Dean wolf

did you know that the Federal Reserve Bank is still owned by Rothchild ? Did you know they changed lineage to escape antisetitism against Germans after WW I ? …… My point is no matter how you look at it, the agenda continues. The North American Trade Agreement falls under shady evil doings the illuminati have set forth decades ago. Both Democratic and Republican party leaders have subscribed to these agendas. Forget who sounds so good , sincere , or how well they play Christian. Any candidate that is on deck needs to be checked. As in follow along the patterns of behavior and the biggest offense, deceit !!! Call me a separatist , ok , but I don’t want any part of the New World Order. Or have my country turned into Tijuana.

    • Hank

Ron Paul / Michelle Bachmann 2012!

    • DEFEATCONSERVATISM

RON PAU FOR PRESIDENT…PLEASE! NOT MICHELE BACHMANN, NEVER.

CAPTAIN PAJAMAS WORKS FOR THAT HEADACHE OF A WOMAN

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

Must you always be so obnoxious??

    • Jackie

Well, he’s a mentally challenged liberal (redundant, I know) so YES.

    • Hank

I tend to bring it out in him. Sorry.

  • WiseOvOwl

I welcome establishment politician Perry as much as a wasp building a nest above my front porch.

    • Hank

Oh, but those wasps only want to live there in peace. Ha!

      Amen!

  • ELIZABETH ROHN-NELSON

Perry attened the Bilderburger Meeting in Switzerland last month. He’s a NO for me.

  • William Martin

Our biggest worry is not who to run, but the thick-headed core Dem/Libs who will vote like robots. I could accept “I’m sorry! I was wrong!” “I’ll do my homework next time.” and even, “Forgive me, please!” I find it interesting to speculate on how the hard core Dems can hope to ‘BS’ Jesus when they have to face him in the final hour. Probably tell him he “just doesn’t understand…” Then push the “DOWN” button… WPM

  • Billyc

Gov Perry . Before you decide remember he is pro-amnesty and gave illegals tuition. What has he done to secure the border squat and he has a large Hispanic vote for his election.

  • http://domesticterror Barney

How about John Bolton. He is tough. At the very least secretary of state.

    • Hank

He is a Neocon, but a man of Conviction, and a Diplomat. I would vote for him before Perry. Not a fan of either though. It would be the same as repealing the 22nd Amendment and electing GWB again.
