South Carolina—Ron Paul’s presidential campaign has a message for Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, and Rick Perry after they failed to get on the Virginia ballot — “it’s over.”

The three candidates joined in a lawsuit seeking to challenge the signature requirement for the Virginia primary ballot, but were unsuccessful in winning the right to appear.

“It’s over,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton in a statement to the press. “Ron Paul, the candidate of real change, will face off against establishment flip-flopper Mitt Romney in the Virginia primary, making that that Tuesday less ‘super’ for serial hypocrite Newt Gingrich, counterfeit conservative Rick Santorum, and Rick Perry, who I should mention is marginally attached to the presidential race.”

    LOL!!!!

    BURN!!!!!

    LOL!!!!

    • Jackie

Insane: Did that nasty rash come back again?

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

Jackie… Don’t they make some Blue Ointment for that?? LOL

    • Dr. Goldfarb

LOL! So you want who to burn? Paul? LOL!

    • Anne S

Stop acting like a child with the LOL and Burn comments. Are you a teenager?

    • USAF VET

No, he’s a Liberal fool. Actually he reminds me of some others who have been in here and changed their names to try to hide their true identity. The name doesn’t matter, we know these people were fed the liberal koolaid and just don’t know what they are prattleing off about.

  • DrJ

Gee, I thought maybe this was an announcement from Dr. Paul that he was dropping out.

    • DrJ

Let me add that if you add up all the other candidates that Dr. Paul wants to drop out, they have more votes than he does. We just need to end up with one conservative to go against the moderate and Dr.Paul.

    • AZ Don

Ron Paul, by his own admission, is not conservative.

    • Captain Shays

“Paul by his own admission is not a conservative” What sort of liar goes around doing that? Ron Paul NEVER said he’s not a real conservative. He’s the ONLY true conservative in this race

    • PaulG.

Democrats that claim they are not Communists.

    • Hardtack

Ron Paul is a libertarian — and makes no bones about it.

I’m voting for him because I’m a libertarian.

    • USAF VET

You remind me of the attorney who defended himself in court. He had a fool for a client.

    • Hardtack

Ron Paul is a libertarian — and makes no bones about it.

I’m voting for him because I’m a libertarian.

    • john j

Why a libertarian has to run as a Republican or Democrap , is for the same reason that if you want to be able to have a full ballot of like minded folks on which to vote for , you must register to vote as one of the two main denominations , or , say if you register as a libertarian , then your ballot (in many states) will ONLY have libertarian candidates in which to vote … The same thing goes for candidates … More latitude !

    • Patriot Diva

That’s too funny. Ron Paul is more conservative than Gingrich, Romney, and Santorum combined! None of those guys have the guts enough to propose cutting at least a trillion dollars from the federal budget, or to cut 5 federal money draining agencies, or to audit the federal reserve.

    • Justwhistlingdixie

And just where and when did Ron Paul make that admission? Check Ron Paul’s campaign web site and read some of his position papers and you will see just how ridulous your assertion is.
And here is something for the rest of you Ron Paul haters to digest although I am sure the truth will make you uncomfortable.
The fact is, Anyone who believes that our constitution is the Supreme law of America, and all other laws that contradict the constitution are not legal and should be made null and void, is a Constitutional Conservative, and that is exactly what Ron Paul is, and has been his entire life. It is the others who falsly claim and perhaps even believe themselves to be conservatives , but, they are in fact not truly conservative, but probably a mix of progressive and conservatisim.

    • Jackie

So the perpetually LOSING presidential candidate is telling other candidates that they are history. Who’s really out of touch here?

    • Wondering Woman

Jackie, since you asked the question, you can have my answer. The ones out of touch with REALITY here are all the voters with the mentality that put an illegal alien Muslim in the White House. There definitely seems to be some wisdom genes lacking in our “gene pool”!

When standing in the “gimme” hand out line, some bright wits must have heard “rains”, when offered “brains” so they answered “Yes, please, just a few drops!”

    • 57girl

And here all this time, I thought they ran for shelter so they wouldn’t get wet at all. LOL. That about sums it up in reading some of these comments from those that don’t realize that Ron Paul is America’s last hope at salvaging our freedoms.

    • USAF VET

They were the ones who, when they were passing out brains, thought they said trains, and they missed theirs.

    • john j

More like , they heard “rains” instead of brains , and quickly jumped out of line , looking for a place to stay dry …hahaha

    • Dalek

Ron Paul just came in last in South Carolina. You still think he will win and be President?

Reality alert. Has he even won one state yet? Can he even win in Texas other than his own district?

    • Bob in Boston

Why would the guy in second place drop out? Only Ron Paul has a chance against Obama, and the longer the rest stay in the race (Newt, Santorum, Perry) the longer it’s going to take for Dr. Paul to beat Romney and secure the nomination.

    • Betty

Ron Paul couldn’t beat Romney, and definitely wouldn’t stand a chance in debating against Odummer. Remember, that’s all that BHO can do well and that is SPEAK. And besides all that,
Ron Paul is too dang old to have to put in all the hours and time at the office that is required for a President, and undergo all the
turmoil that a President has to endure !!!! He is 78 years old.

    • stan the man

SOOOO? Regan was in his “Retirement years too”What do you want? A Man that chases aids in the office or a man that will stand up for your country….Or did you drink the cool-aid too?

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

Stan the man… That old goat isn’t able to chase anybody. Hang it up and go home.

    • stan the man

No Betty…Hussein can READ…That’s all Do you honestly think that man produces his own speeches?REALLY?????

    • McClarinJ

No, Betty, he’s 76 and he bikes 15-20 miles a day, has written three bestsellers since 2007, speaks on university campuses where attendance under 1,000 is rare, blogs, vlogs, serves on two house committees, one joint economic committee, chairs the subcommittee that oversees the Federal Reserve, conducts constituent services, and still makes time for family.

As for electability Paul consistently polls (along with Mitt Romney) very well against Obama, taking the independents by a substantial margin.

    • Oregon Bill

Ron Paul polls well among Liberal Independents, Unfortunately, he does not poll well among Conservatives, none of us could ever support his Foreign policy , ever. Get a grip we need a candidate to defeat Obama and that has to be our only real concern.

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

Who really cares what that old fool does?? He can run the Boston Marathon three times a week, but he will never get the nomination.

    • Patriot Diva

I’m a conservative, and I’m voting for Ron Paul in South Carolina’s primary on Saturday. I didn’t vote for him in ’08, but now wish I had. I decided to go to his website, because I didn’t like any of the other candidates much except for Cain. I was pleasantly surprised by what I read, but then angry at how the media is trashing the guy. That should have tipped me off right there!

    • LL

“Oregon Bill,” you are no doubt one of those disgusting fleas which infest us native Oregonians. You are truly from where, LA? As a long time Conservative also, you make me sick.

    • Reinhold

Abraham was older when he sired Isaac ad raised him up to produce many nations. Betty Cancel? Good idea.

    • Aristophanes

reinhold – what has that got to do with ron paul? Are you saying ron paul is as old as abraham when he sired isaac?

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

And he is STILL not qualified.

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

And he will NEVER bae Qualified!!! You are nuts..

    • Al

Oh yea, vote for a young RINO, or one of two wild eyed WAR MONGERS!

    • Are you Serious

      ESAD!!!!

    • Patriott 101

      Betty,
With age comes WISDOM. Ron Paul is as sharp mentally as anyone I’ve seen in this race. It is the media taking snippets of comments out of context that makes him look incoherent. That is their favorite trick against Ron Paul, out of context snippets! In full context, Ron Paul’s arguments against bombing another sovereign nation makes perfect sense. Try listening to the whole of Ron Paul’s thoughts sometime! You will be won over as I was!

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

Patriot… In ron paul’s case, that old adage didn’t work. He is just a dumb as he ever was.

    • Ernie Thurston

If Ron Paul is the last man standing we might as well start speaking Chinese. Either Obama will win or we will not have armed forces overseas and we will be back to where we were on Dec 7 1941, just waiting for the big attack to come.

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

Ernie… You are right, but you can’t tell these numbskulls anything. They have been brainwashed. They will have to be deprogrammed after the election.

    • Patriot Diva

So I take it you are OK with attacking another sovereign nation without provocation?

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

Are you saying that we attacked anyone without provocation??? You are a fool.

    • LL

The self- styled “Ann Rand” is a political whore, as are a number of posters on this site. I trust that, as Americans, you are intelligent enough to see how vastly superior is Dr. Paul. If you are not, the destruction of our country is on your head.

    • RonW

This response is for Ann Rand. I’m sorry you fear Ron Paul. I would like to just ask you. At what point are you going to go take a look in the mirror. And while doing so ask yourself. At what point in time am I not going to be ok with the damage being done to civilians abroad and mentally to those of our on the ground troops that don’t come home in a box? At what point in time do you draw the line and say enough death and destruction over OIL. I’ve already turned my car into a yard planter. Walking and mass transit are unpleasant sometimes. We are overpopulating the earth. As we have many times in the past. We have the INET now. The world can TALK. We can conserve. We can educate, We can learn. We can overcome the issues that were not possible in our past this time. We can grow up and stop acting spoiled kids.

    • RonW

ANN RAND. I’m thinking “just as dumb as he ever was” is pretty smart. No corporate sponsor’s and contributors. Campaign war chest comes from 10 or twenty bucks at a time from We The People. And yet here you sit. Taking pot shot’s at him. I think that suggest’s he’s a pretty smart dude.

  • http://www.americagonestupid.com nvrpc

As long as Ron Paul DOES NOT win and he does not run thrid party I’m all for it. May the BEST mand win.

    • Captain Shays

Ron Paul doesn’t need to run as a third party candidate. We his supporters are going to do it for him. Think about this. We got turned on to THE most principled candidate in history who won’t back down on ANY position but his supporters woulde vote for a flip flopper, or a fake like Santorum or a liar like Gingrich? My integrity, honor and conscience are too important for me to sell out and I suspect for ANY Ron Paul supporter to sell out. I ain’t special. I just refuse to vote lesser of two evils. I choose to vote for what is right and the man who represents that right. Ron Paul

    • LL

We pledges our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor. Some will not understand that.

  • Captain PJ

One could argue most persuasively that Ron Paul should drop out because it’s over. True, Paul has the money to continue…but money does not necessarily equate to winning. Paul mathematical chances of winning are actually less than Gingrich or Santorum. To his credit, his odds are currently better than Governor Rick Perry.

Yet, none of the candidates or their organizations are telling Paul to drop out. Could it be that the Paul campaign is wanting the rest of the group to drop out so that his mathematical chances increase?

    • Dr. Goldfarb

Absolutely! I agree wholeheartedly. Paul’s campaign calling for the others to get out could be appropriately applied to his own campaign.

    • Gerd

Goes back to the Golden Rule doesn’t it?

    • Hank is back

What is with all these hypocrites that want the other candidates to adopt many of Ron Paul’s platforms (except foreign policy, of course), but also want him to drop out?

The only way the other candidates will ever move towards Paul on anything is if he stays in this until the end.

Remember, there is more to running a campaign than just winning the nomination. Even if someone loses the nomination, if they stay in it till they end and have just a few delegates, they get a hand in writing the Republican Party’s national platform.

    • Gerd

Like any candidate ever pays any attention to the platform. We had a state chair once that said he had never read the state platform.

    • just sayin

The only problem with Ron Paul’s foreign foibles is that they are DANGEROUS to our security. That is why they want to use other parts of his platform, but he could never be a serious competitive candidate.

    • Ann Wilson Kingsley

Not according to the Mossad and other reputable sources. Both the current head of the Mossad and the former head of the Mossad agree that Iran should not be invaded, and Iran is not a threat to Israel. Also, a former military intelligence officer says the same thing.

    • Patriott 101

Russia and China have warned the US not to “F” with Iran!
Rommely, Newtie and Santorium can’t wait to order air strikes on Iran! How many kids and grandkids do you think it will take to defeat the World (Iran + Russia + China)?
How much money would the FED have to print up to fund THIS upcoming war?
Any President except RON PAUL is nearly a guaranteed escalation to WWIII!

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

If they are so peaceful, why don’t you paulbots go on over and make friends with them… Afraid you might get your heads handed to you??

    • Karolyn

You are either just ignorant on foreign policy yourself or ignorant on Ron Paul’s foreign policy. There is absolutely NOTHING DANGEROUS about his foreign policy. He is VERY STRONG on defense but if we do go to war go through Congress for approval like it is supposed to be done. I, as many others and Ron Paul think all these endless wars need to stop; they are ruining our economy. Again, check out the military industrial complex. Maybe you don’t have any loved ones being sent into these endless wars and don’t care about the thousands of lives lost for what??? What have we really accomplished??? Get real.

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

Darn tootin’ there is nothing dangerous about paul’s foreign policies!! Absolutely NOBODY will pay attention to them.

    • Patriot Diva

You have to go to Ron Paul’s website to get an accurate view of his foreign policy. The media is twisting everything. Ron Paul does not believe in attacking another sovereign nation without provocation. Now really listen to that statement. What we should be asking the other candidates, is “So you advocate attacking Iran just because you THINK they MAY have nukes?” Keep in mind that there are powerful people out there that makes a LOT of money off of all those wars. And those people can buy a whole lot of influence with presidential candidates. Ron Paul believes in a strong military and would ensure that should we have to go to war, there is a CLEAR mission and purpose. (Caps for emphasis only) I just do not see how this is dangerous. Reagan brought down communism without firing a single shot. Why shouldn’t we do the same with Iran? There are many ways to get a rogue nation under control. War is just one of those ways. I have two sons, who are young now, but someday they will be old enough to register for selective service. I love and treasure being their mom. I do not want my country to be meddling into every other country’s business, or getting us involved in unnecessary wars. We are a patriotic family and believe in service to our country, but quite frankly, our leaders have over the years made some pretty lame excuses to going to war. Heck, they don’t even formally declare war any more. Just my point of view.

    • Ann Wilson Kingsley

Hank, Ron Paul has been the pacesetter for the race. The other candidates are continually moving to the “Right” to stay in the race because of Ron Paul’s message. Ron Paul came out with his “Plan to Restore America”, and each of the other candidates frantically threw together some semblance of a plan to stay in the race. Ron Paul is the leader, and the other candidates are trying to get in lock-step.

    • Karolyn

And ALL of them are mimicking some of the things that Ron Paul has said for years! But, boy do they love to go to war and Ron Paul wants to bring our troops home; the same active duty military that supports him more than any of the others.

    • Oregon Bill

Saying that the military actually supports Ron Paul is the biggest lie ever told. I know many members of the military, current anf former and not one of them does not think he is a nut job, they say he receives money from them is a complete farce.

    • Patriot Diva

More active duty military personnel donate to Ron Paul’s campaign than all other candidates combines, including Obama.

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

Do you sell that dope you are on??? Is that what you are hoping to legalize??? It certainly does mess with your mind.

    • RonW

No Oregon Bill its not a lie. Campaign contributions are a matter of public record. Go spend some time looking at who get’s what from whom. Come back when your finished. And an apology will be accepted be me for having to burn precious time making right an invalid statement.

    • http://www.drinkyoursuperfoods.com Jim Uprichard

I agree, but when was the last time the party paid any attention to the platform?

    • McClarinJ

The sooner it’s just Paul and Romney, the likelier Paul is to win.

    • Al

He is the ONLY ONE talking about the IMPORTANT things like FREEDOM, and THE MONSTROUS DEBT! Not Mitt Romney’s TAX RETURNS!

    • PaulG.

      It’s over in Virginia.

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

If everyone in the whole United States stayed home, I doubt that Barney would wim.

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

Capy…. Yes… They know that they don’t stand a chance, otherwise.

    • RonW

Ann, if you believed that. You wouldn’t be sitting here trying to impede his progress all the way into the oval office.

  • Dan

If it comes down to a choice between Paul and Romney, it makes it a shoo-in which one to vote for. High on the Republican agenda is to repeal ObamaCare. Do think the inventer of RonmeyCare is going to repeal ObamaCare? Ron Paul will getter done !

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

Dan… Get what done?? So far he sure hasn’t managed to get much done except brainwash a bunch of loons and take their money.

    • Seethroughitall

Will someone here please tell me what, in 30 years of government service (“hey, I’m NOT an insider, honestly) Dr. Ron Paul has accomplished? What legislation has he written, or at least co-written? Anything of importance? ANYTHING? Am not looking for “he voted most consistently,” etc. A monkey can vote consistently. What has he accomplished?

    • RonW

Seethroughitall. Love to. He has spent all that time trying bring CORRUPTION in DC down a notch or two. One has to ask. Why is it that all those bills never made it to the house floor. There was no way RANKING MEMBERS were about to give up their seat on the fleecing of America gravy train. And you can trust and believe the owned ones are wishing somebody would drop them off a crate of clean underwear right about now.

    • RonW

Ron Paul has been sounding the alarm for almost 3 decades. Lot to be said for walking the walk, having principles, faithful to himself, family, country and We The People.

Even more to be said for the fact that he does not even want to be president. And only is doing it in defence of America, her peoples and his family. HE feels he has no other choice. Why you ask? Because there are no others it appears with the spine to go after the root cause or our problems. The dirty ones will not be able to pass the sniff test, and the ones that are not corrupt, don’t have the balls.

Latest News from Ron Paul: Ron Paul Introduces Legislation to Strike NDAA’s Unconstitutional Section 1021

    • Gerd

This might be the only meaningful piece of legislation ole crazy Ron has ever introduced and would be only the second to ever make it to the floor in 20 years (if it does). We should remember, our last party nominee is the RINO that wrote the part in question and did it in secret. And McCain endorses Mitt.

    • 57girl

Ron Paul has tried hard over the years to bring Washington in line with the Constitution. I get so sick of you guys that claim that he has done nothing, when in fact, the majority of this Nation wouldn’t have a clue as to the rights we are getting ready to lose if Ron Paul were not stirring the pot of controversy. The rest of the Candidates would simple destroy our Constitution, smile at us, and tell us everything is coming up roses as they erase our borders (and expel our Constitution all together) in favor of the NAU. Ron Paul has introduced many, many bills over the years, but nobody listened. What is that, do you suppose?

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

57…. Because he is stupid . Nobody wants to be connected to him..

    • Al

      You call Paul “CRAZY”?

DUH! He has introduced MANY COMMON SENSE BILLS that were shot down by YOUR BELOVED RINO’s!

    • Chuck

Some leader, in 26 years he has managed to get ONE bill passed.

    • Captain Shays

That’s not an indictment on Ron Paul. It’s an indiictment on the fakes who refused to support his bills. Like Rick Santorum who refused to support Ron Paul’s sanctity of life bill which would have ended abortion on demane without waiting 100 years for another SC decision to overturn Roe V Wade but instead could have ended it by a majority vote in Congress. That isn’t Ron Paul’s fault. It’s the so called pro life fakes who didn’t support it

    • Patriott 101

You wanna call Ron Paul crazy for introducing bills only constitutional? It is the blatant DISREGARD for the constitution that causes The otheres to vote against Ron Paul’s bills.
Freedom lost is very hard to regain! It most often takes a “revolution” to regain freedoms surrendered! Freedom in America has been surrendered to such a degree that now (what little) freedom is left can simply be stolen (by govt.)!

  • Terry Black

The above story can be searched!

    • gml

FYI…. Ron Paul has been a Texas Congressman for 23 years. In that time he has introduced 620 pieces of legislation. One (that’s 1) has passed & become law. It was a bill that asked the Federal Government sell the Old U.S. Customs house in Galveston, Texas to the Galveston Historical Society for fair market price. It passed unanimously. He’s a real shaker & a mover alright. He campaigns that he “is not responsible for a single piece of pork barrel legislation”. Duh. These guys are all nothing but CLOWNS.

    • Gerd

Hey, my congress critter got a post office renamed. But he has only been at it 16 years.

    • 57girl

gml, now that the people are finally waking up and realizing how corrupt our Government really is (mostly thanks to Ron Paul), we can shake up the status quo and stand with Dr. Paul. To date, Dr. Paul has stood alone in his efforts to defend, uphold, and RESPECT our Constitution. It is not his fault his fellow house members have sold their allegiance to the highest bidder instead of honoring their own oaths to do the same. Take note that Dr. Paul can not be bought, which is just one more reason he belongs in the White House.

    • just sayin

Take note that he CANNOT win more than 6-7% of the national vote! He can barely hold that much of the Republican primary support across the board! How can he win?

    • Al

So, this ELECTION is nothing more than a HORSE RACE huh?

    • Joe

Dr. Paul has been a lone voice in DC for the people, our liberties and the Constitution for 35 years. He has been fighting the good fight against the establishment while the people have been asleep. Congressman Paul, being the patriot he is, has now forced the statists to at least acknowledge some of the problems the state has created. He has awakened those under 40 who have come to recognize that the big government Republicrats have stolen their future by enslaving them to debt that is impossible to repay. Rather than denigrate Ron Paul’s efforts, we need to applaud his work. If something of the American Dream can be salvaged, much of the credit goes to this great American’s tireless work.

    • Karolyn

That is, duh, because he doesn’t vote for higher taxes, higher deficit, doesn’t vote for all their bad legislation and they don’t want the good ideas that he has because it would mean they would have to lower spending, cut departments, get out of our lives and do only what they are supposed to do which is PROTECT OUR RIGHTS!!! And, show me where any of them are doing that!

  • Jstc

Why are serial adulterer Gingrich and bisexual adulterer Perry calling themselves ‘conservatives’? Both are pro-illegal alien (Perry even signed a bill paying their college tuition!), Gingrich is pro-abortion, and neither has ever said or done anything that could even remotely be called ‘conservative’.
Dr. Ron Paul is the only sensible candidate left in the race. He advocates a common-sense foreign policy, a sensible tax reform and enforcement of US immigration laws. He’s the only real ‘conservative’ left in the race.

    • Ray

Anybody that draws as many wacko’s around him needs to resign from the process himself. As a Republican of many years I find Ron Paul an embarrasment and wish he would have remained where his philosphy best fits, and that is as a Libertarian.

    • Al

I find your support of the IDIOT’s who got us in this mess “INSANE” as defined by EINSTEIN!

      Look it up!

    • stan the man

Good call Jstc…Let’s just say that if you shut down Ron then get ready for a long hard winter and no A/C for the summers in the country..Where do these people think energy comes from? Take away their gasoline and their electricity and then let them see what they voted for…You can’t fix stupid

    • LovedtheoldUSAbetter

Just what makes you rhino that Rick Perry is bisexual?? That really is a lie. I live in Texas and have NEVER heard anything like this.

Where are you getting your information? Really, I’d like to know!

    • Karolyn

I live in Texas also; not that far from Austin and I have heard this and seen it written on the internet about Perry but whether it is true or not I have no idea. Someone could sure get sued for saying & writing it if it weren’t though but I won’t presume one way or the other.

    • Tom

Public officials rarely can sue for libel, it’s because they are public in the first place that people can say things that aren’t true about them and get by with it. And most of the time it would do more harm than good to sue, spreading the ideas around and causing others to hear about the rumors and falsehoods that otherwise wouldn’t.

    • oneAmerican

Karolyn. I was on Debra Medina’s campaign staff when she ran against Perry. Someone brought us this rumor. but no proof or conformation. Our ‘factfinder’ bunch couldn’t find a single trace of evidence, so it was disregarded. Believe me, those guys could find about anything.

    • Chuck

Debra Medina is an ambulatory psychotic. She was a Tea Party favorite who accused Bush of planning the 9-11 attack.

    • Captain Shays

It may be a lie or a rumor that Perry is bi sexual but it’s an OUTRIGHT LIE that Medina said Bush was involved in 911

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

Karolyn…. I heard that ron paul supports NAMBLA… That is pretty perverted. I sure wuoldn’t trust him around little boys.

    • Karolyn

And when Arizona passed tougheer immigration laws Perry was quick to say that Texas didn’t want anything like that. Like the other Rino’s they want the Latino’s votes! He is NOT conservative.

    • EagarBeez

who are you trying to kid? I am an Az resident, and Mr. Perry signed support for the 1070 for us. He does not wish illegals anymore then you or I. The illegal that graces our white house, stopped states from deporting illegals. We have to deal with them until this goon is out of office

    • juandeveras

It seems if one is going to call candidates serial bisexuals than they should identify themselves.

    • Lindy Busby, MSGT, USAF (Ret)

“Let the one who has not sinned throw the first stone”!! “Ross perot” (Ron Paul) will make sure that we have another four years of Obama Care.

    • Patriott 101

Ron Paul is the only one I would trust to let me keep my guns! Gingrich wants your fingerprints in exchange for your “privilege” (not right) to keep your guns! ]
Check it out! Don’t fall for “One Worlder” Newtie! He will sell us out to the New World Order. He is a “Progressive” by his own admission (Just like Hillary!)!

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

Jstc…. So lets talk morals… Ron Paul supports Nambla… Could he be a pervert?? Is that why so many nuts hang around him??

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

Jstc… Don’t let your little boys be alone with ron paul… I hear that he supports NAMBLA… Pretty perverted, don’t you think??

  • Rocketman

Ron Paul is the only hope that this country has to get back to Constitutional government.
All you naysayers out there don’t have a frikken clue.

    • Julius Lohr

Neither do you “Rocketman”!!!! Your moonie-like support of Ron Paul is the equivalent of voting Obama in for another term of America’s erosion!!

    • stan the man

My God man..Do you really believe that we can stand another 4 years of this man..I work in the mining and oilfield industry and if you think this administration with their policies are for you…I hope you enjoy the cold, cause when you shut down coal, oil, and american companies…You have nothing to take money from…and if our government can’t steal the money from us ..where do think you’re gonna get you’re benefits…My income taxes last year was 41% of my wages…What did you pay Julius?

    • Karolyn

Not if enough of us that had good sense would vote for the only honest, conservative, non-flip-flopping constitutionalist running! SHEEPLE!

    • just sayin

Secretary of the Treasury would be a great spot!

    • Patriott 101

I’ll trust Ron Paul as President to select a suitable Sec. of Treasury!

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

If he can run as fast as you nuts say, he would be a GREAT DOG CATCHER.

  • ROB

Ron has my vote. If America thinks for one minute that a moderate mormon from Mass can beat B.O… I tell that person “welcome to 4 more years of B.O.”

    • just sayin

Secretary of the Treasury would be a great position for him!

    • Karolyn

They want Romney because they know Obama can beat him. I saw a pretend debate between Romney & Obama on the internet and how interesting when at the end Obama tells Romney they are just alike. Romney is a white clone of Obama!

  • http://74337 Lyle Sharp

well, well, I know that a lot of folks like to Gamble . but i think gambling on some of the delegates is crazy . win, loose or draw is not
the way to elect a president . I think we should place our bets so to speak , on the
records of the candidates , Now who has the best record ?? Dr. Ron Paul

    • just sayin

He got 1 of over 600 pieces of legislation introduced passed. He introduced hundreds of earmarks and voted against them to develop a record. He is a master of deception. Witness his cult following and the belief that he is honest!

    • oneAmerican

justsayin. I think that that Pon Paul is like our mama’s chicken soup, comforting, familiar & comes closest to what people would like to ‘think’ we need, as he is from an era of the ‘good old days’ where violence, greed & corruption weren’t part of our daily lives. Sadly those days are gone. In this day’s climate a conservative with uber strong leanings to the right cannot govern. We must find a ‘fixer’ to help us ‘right’ the ship and then a true conservative to keep us on course. IF we elect a more moderate fixer AND fill the HOUSE AND SENATE with true conservaties, we’ll be on our way to a yesteryear state moving forward with GOD back in our homes, schools & white house.
I just hope all of the Paul supporters will leave this up long enough for you to read. It IS NOT necessary to ‘LIKE” a candidate for him to do a good job, after all, you aren’t sleeping with him & he’ll probably never be your personal BFF. I ‘like’ many of his qualitiles, I also like vanilla ice cream. soooo?

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

One American… You said a lot of truth, but these nuts are like vampires . They can’t stand the light of day!!!

  • Eddie B

I don’t know who I like better…..Ron Paul or Walter Brennan?!

    • Captain Shays

I don;t know who I like better Ron Paul or Thomas Jefferson

  • Dean

    Ron Paul is apparently senile.

  • Dorothy

go away Ron Paul you need to retire you are just to old leave it to the younger ones

    • stan the man

Yeah Dorothy..Perhaps you can see where this “Younger one” has led us…Of course if you pay taxes and did’t drink the cool-aid,then you would love the faat that you get to give 41% of your money to “Him” but I would guess you don’t pay but recieve and that makes “Him”your choice..

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

Stan … You are a Nasty paulbot.

  • HAH

As Pat KBuchanan said recently: Ron Paul is the only one who wants to Get out of the UN, Audit the Fed, foreign polcity that makes sense and get our constitution working again. Where did the current voters learn to reason? Oh thats right. They didn’t.

  • John Bandow

Many of the above comments reveal the lack of character in their originators, possibly because they don’t recognize it when it is right before them. Ron Paul is a man of character and can be trusted. That is doubtful of many of the above.

  • 57girl

If this Nation had a clue, we wouldn’t need anyone else on the ticket EXCEPT Ron Paul. The rest of the gang represents the agenda of the current Administration for the most part. I can’t believe with all of the evidence and information relative to the demise of our Nation, that is not obvious to all, there is only one real choice if we want to salvage our Constitution. Are you people really so gullible as to fall for Romney,Newt,Perry,or Santorum? Just follow the money trail and whose getting what from whom, look at past voting records, look at the flip-flopping on the issues. The truth shouldn’t be that hard to see. There is only one Candidate that has held steady and fought for our Freedom since he has been in office and that is Ron Paul. We need to put him in the White House if America is to have a chance at saving her Sovereignty.

    • Hat Bailey

You go girl! It simply puzzles me how so many are fooled by talk and the media when the smallest effort to actually “follow the money” quickly reveals the truth about the candidates. I knew before Mr. Obama was elected that he was backed by the Rockefeller globalist money and would follow basically the same policies as Mr. Bush. It is obvious that Dr. Paul is the only candidate that is not bought and paid for by the special interests that are ruining our country.

    • just sayin

He would be a great Secretary of the Treasury!

    • Patriott 101

Ron Paul will select a suitable Sec. of Treasury whe he is President!

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

Pat101… Well, we will hold our breath, don’tcha know!!!!

    • Karolyn

Haven’t seen a much better statement than this one! It just alludes me that people are so blind but that’s how Obama got elected; sheeple, wake up before we lose our country to socialism? Do you really want us to be like a third world country; that’s what we are going to be with the NWO and it’s being pushed hard and fast.

    • Chuck

Paul has many views similar to Obama. Open borders, no military, legal drugs, abandon our allies, on demand abortion, OK for Iran to have nuclear weapons, and U.S. provoked the 9/11 attack.

    • Patriott 101

      Chuck!
What a pack of lies and distortions! Are you paid to lie here or are you just a product of listening to mis-information from others?
Go to the sourse for your info on Ron Paul and his policies and positions and UNDERSTAND that his reasons for his positions are all constitutional!

    • Patriot Diva

Chuck, these things simply are not true. With regard to drugs, RP just thinks these are things for the states to decide rather than the federal goverment. He wants to keep the borders open, but strengthen them by actually putting more border patrol agents on the border, and actually let them enforce the law. He also wants to get rid of birthright citizenship and the other incentives for illegals to come here.

    • http://verizon Ann Rand

Hate to break it to you, toots. It just doesn’t work that way.

  • Robert Lebischak

I’m glad that Ron has said it’s over, we’ll be better off without him in the race, now if he has any common sense he’ll back Newt now.

    • Al

Newt? You would give the ERRATIC, F ING WACKO THE MAGIC BUTTON?

NOT A CHANCE IN H ELL!

    • Are you Serious

Yes indeed!!! I would hope he would use it as well!!!

    • Patriott 101

      Robert,
Your comment barely desevers a responce, as you completley missed the point of this article or else you never even bothered to read it!
GO BACK AND READ THE ENTIRE ARTICLE!

  • tod

Dr.Ron Paul 2012 for the ONLY PROVEN HONEST (for Well Over 30 Years) PATRIOT running for President,PERIOD !!! Here ‘s a old list I found of people in the New World Order that our Beloved Raymond wrote on here about 6 to 12 months ago, I happen to write down, and looked at it last night, and thought isn’t that funny. Here it is Fred Thompson,Rudy Giuliani,John McCain,Mitt Romney,Jim Gilmore,Newt Ginrich,Hillary Clinton, barry soetoro,,John Edwards,Joe biden,Chris Dodd,Bill Richardson, isn’t it funny two of them are running for President!!!

    • just sayin

Here we go again! If Ron Paul is honest, then he is incompetent as a manager in my opinion. Here is the fact. Please don’t blather on about NWO, Neo Cons and the like. Just make your determination which one he is and then temper your future comments using common sense rather than Mantra! His views that were written about in HIS newsletters for years with HIS name on them are scary. He claims that he did not know what they were writing for years. To me, that sounds like irresponsible management AT MINIMUM. How can someone who cannot even supervise his OWN newsletters manage international affairs and the US government. So IF he is honest, he is irresponsible and incompetent AT THE LEAST. My belief is that he DID know what was in his newsletters for YEARS and did supervise what went in there. THAT would make him patently dishonest by claiming that he did not know. What would the average person think if they were not a PaulBot or a cult member? My guess would be the latter but the former is possible. Which do you believe, since you claim he is the ONLY honest one? Is he irresponsible and incompetent or dishonest?

    • Karolyn

Another good comment Tood w/the info but people just have their heads in the sand and don’t want to see the truth; unbelievable! You sure Santorum with his wicked ways wasn’t on there. I know Perry is a Bildeberger to but haven’t checked the others.

    • Karolyn

Tod, sorry for messing up your name. These liberal, progressive people on here kind of get my adrenaline going and I tend to type too fast!

    • Aristophanes

karolyn, tod, et al – you rabid paulbots are a big reason why I do NOT support ron paul. You really are liberals in disguise. Because I do not agree with you, you resort to name calling and insults. And you think that is going to change my mind and support paul? You really are liberals – only a liberal would be stupid enough to think that those tactics work!

    • Patriott 101

I resent your grouping all RON PAUL supporters as “Liberals”. Perhaps the media has confounded your brain to confuse you to believe that Libertarian = Liberal!
I am for PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY, PERSONAL LIBERTY, STATES RIGHTS and for SMALLER FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. I am also for a stronger National defense, which doesn’t necessarily mean we need a bigger military! We need more military on our borders and less on the border of Pakistan, Korea, and… Germany? We still need troops in Germany? Ever take time to think about that one?

The majority of you out there running your jaws have no idea of what your talking about.
You all don’t even realize taht yur being posioned by your own goverment. You all don’t even realize that all the past Presidents for the past 70 years or so and major candates of both parties have been controlled by the same insiders. I sure wish taht some of you young and not so young people would do some real research and find out what’s going on in your own country.
Mark my words if we fail to elect Ron Paul we will probley lose our country as we once knew it.
Yes we are that close to going into bondage.
Unfortunatlely we’ll be hogtied and trapped before the majority of you wake up.

    • Are you Serious

      Yawn zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • jimbo

Unfortunately a vote for Old Ron is a vote for Obummer, can you say Ross Perot….. I think Rand Paul will be a rising star and making a little more sense in the future, but
Dr. Ron is obviously a little too senile and as a physician he of all people should know it…. so any votes lost on Ron is a vote for Obi-Wan and more Socialism….

    • Justwhistlingdixie

JIMBO. that must be reference to your shirt size and not that of your brain.
Go eat a hog sandwich and go back to sleep and don’t worry, the gestapo will wake you when they come for you.

    • RonW

Jimbo. It’s a long way to November pal. Doc Paul’s support is exponentially growing. To the Dismay of everybody that is perfectly willing to watch America go quietly into the night. American’s have always responded to adversity and overcame it. The INTERNET and communication with the world can be made to happen if We just back off with the we are bad attitude, Thasss right! we bad… Yes we have created serious enemys. No doubt about it. Question is? Do we continue to use sandpaper to heal the wound? Or do we turn back into human beings and learn from our mistakes? It’s amazing to see the peoples comment’s from all over the world that are praying that we can Get Doc Paul into the Oval Office. Even they can see the man is the real Deal. If you take the time to diversify you data sources and site’s. People are pulling for us American’s to get out house in order. They will tell you the status quo is in fact taking the whole world off the cliff. This is how bad our thinking has gone astray from sanity, and belief in doing the right thing. We have an Aegeis Class nuked up destroyer parked and floating in one of them dumbs. Supposed to be for the continuation of Government should we have either WWIII or some other extinction level event occur. What the hell are they thinking? How many human beings could fit in the volume of real estate that thing displaces? They is a youtube video out there. search it. I don’t have a ticket to that party. Do you? I’m thinking we need to cancel that event due to lack of interest.

  • bjw

It seems to me that the pro Ron Paul posts get better ratings and show up and the against don’t. Is this a Ron Paul P.R. website or one that is reporting on all candidates without bias? Ron Paul will get Obama re-elected since Romney will be the Republican nominee. Paul is not going to beat Romney period.

    • Patriott 101

      Ron Paul vs: Romney?

      Romney won’t repeal Obama care.
Romney is the “establishment” choice, just like Bob Dole, McCain. How’d that turn out?

Ron Paul will support the 2nd amendment, Romney will further gun control as he did in Mass.
Liberal Mass. RINO or Commy Obummer… Great choice!
      R U kidding me?

    • RonW

Hide and watch. America is rapidly coming out of its comatose state. And we will take America back from the clutches of the FED and Familia. Whether those that are entangled up to their eyeballs like it or not. We will once again be able to be proud again. We have been the Iron Fist of death and destruction for the hidden master chess players that had us believe we have been playing checkers for the last 98 years.

    • RonW

bjw. no its not as far as I know. What you sre experiencing is the reality that unlike the spin you get from mainstream. Ron Paul has way more support than people are willing to accept. There are in fact LOTS of us. There is a lot to be said for human traits that American’s used to find wholesome. Like honesty, determination, belief in principle, drive, and COURAGE! That little old man. Is the only one that has not only dared to whisper about the 1000 lb gorilla, lurking behind the curtain over at the FED and FRIENDS. But is the first since John And Bobby Kennedy that has dared challenge them in any way. The only person that knows what has brought us to this sorry state of affairs we now find ourselves in. Interesting it is that for all these years. It took a doctor to diagnose the problem and then do what doctors do. Cut out the cancer that is eating our children’s future’s. Research The FEDERAL RESERVE ACT of 1913. If you don’t have clue as to what I’m talking about.

  • Dean

There seems to be a Rino stampede here! A true conservative has no choice in this race, there’s only one conservative in the lineup and that is Ron Paul! It’s sickening all the morons that call themselves conservatives and think following the Constitution is nutty, it’s an oxymoron!

    • Red

Ron Paul has never been a conservative. He has espoused the Libertarian philosophy for 40 years. He has written several books, run for president twice before, and authored many unpassable bills in the House. None of these protray Paul as a conservative. He is consistently given high marks by the ACLU.

    • Captain Shays

Red, Ron Paul is an old style conservative. The rest are new style conservatives. The old style conservatives adhered to the Constitution, opposed Wilson’s olice the world foreign policy, entitlements, the IRS, the Federal Reserve and growth of government in size, spending and intrusiveness into our lives. The new style conservatives are really progressives who embrace Wilson’s foreign policy and reject that of the founding fathers, they do not oppose entitlements, spending or growth of government. ALL except Ron Paul support, SOPA, NDAA, Patriot Act the Federal Reserve and the IRS. So when you talk about who is conservative maybe like the old song writer said “know the song well before you start sing’in

    • Aristophanes

how many times do you paulbots need to be told? Paul is not a conservative, he is a LIBERTARIAN!! Look it up – not CONSERVATIVE!!!

    • Patriott 101

Just how “dense” are you? Libertarian and Conservative overlap in many areas. They are more in common than Liberal and Libertarian! Look it up, either you are misinformed or uninformed.

    • Justwhistlingdixie

All of you brilliant thinkers that are anti Ron Paul and making statements that he is not a conservative because he is “a libertarian” have no clue what being a conservative or a libertarian actually means.
Have any of you ever read the biographies of the founders of our free and constitutional republic of America.I seriously doubt that you have, otherwise you would know that most were actually pretty evenly divided between being a conservative and being a libertarian, in other words their philosophy was split about 50/50, therfore thy called themselves “Fusionists.” which meant they were actually neither but a combination of both.
That is exactly what Ron Paul is, “a fusionist” and that is exactly what most of America’s voters are, although they may not admit it, or even know there is actually such a thing as Fusionism.

It will be very hard for me to vote for Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry or Mitt Romney for president of my United States of America.

P.S. I will NEVER vote for Barrack Obama!

    • Pegi

It would be hard for me to vote for Ron Paul but I also would pull the lever to defeat Obama.

    • Patriott 101

      Why Pegi?
Ron Paul should be the easiest candidate to vote for. Study the why of his positions and policies, and you will be an enthuiastic supporter of Ron Paul.
Sometimes you just have to dig a little to get to the truth!

The Virginia primary won’t be worth anything. Won’t even bother to pay attention.

  • Hank Paulson

America is now divided a nation divided can not stand. We are broken, beaten down by the evil from Holywood, liberalized by the secular schools, feminized by the women who have no morals, torn apart by men who are corrupt and self serving pimps. Now we have 15 Trillion in debt, perhaps it is more, not really being reported, a nation of Obama voting idiots who do not see the bad that he is doing. Now the Republican’s running a RINO like Mitt, just like the last election with McCaine, here we are again, another election and we do not have the conservative. Looks like we allowed the news media to pick our RINO candidate. Very sad, America is no more, the Constitution is being burned by our elected officials, they lie cheat and steal, there is no stopping them. The founding Father’s warned us about what would happen, it is finally here, the fire of a controlled government for the people and by the people is no longer in the fireplace where is belongs, it is not burning the drapes, up the walls, the whole house is in flames. BIG GOVERNMENT IS HERE, RIP AMERICA, I loved you, RIP.

    • Patriott 101

A little hope please? Maybe we can peacefully turn this nation back to a constitutional Republic through this (probably) last real election. Elect one more globalist instead of a constitutional conservative, and I agree with you, IT’S PROBABLY OVER!
RON PAUL IS THE ONLY REAL CHOICE.

    • RonW

I agree on all Patriot. We can not only take our country back. We can make the world a better safer place because of it. And it really isn’t rocket science. This election cycle and the next we can flush the ENTRENCHED career law makers that since they refused to either self limit their own terms, or fight Doc Paul’s attempts to get term limit bill’s to the floor for an up or down vote. What does that tell you? Sure we will loose o few of the baby’s when throw out the bath water. By voting EVERY law maker with over two terms out. for two election cycle’s. We can run the money changers out of town on a rail. So they will have less ability to re-infest our law making houses and other two branches as well. The Corruption in America is systemic through out the beltway and indeed our country as well. We can take a good hard look at all the quote advisory committee’s / Thinktanks that it appears to also have and agenda that is in direct confliction with our Constitution. all the Brezinski Kissinger types that just can’t bring themselves to terms with the idea’s that they have been fostering upon us are at odds with what a peaceful peoples find desirable. They had their chance to be hero’s and all they did was bring America to her knee’s. How do you find solutions to age old problem’s if you get advice from those that failed when they had their chance. If the Constitution authorized it. I have them deported to Mars. And then sever relation with them. These people need to be looked at under a microscope.

I just love how so many people truly believe ron paul cant win against b.o.. Ron paul will call him on the, issues and his poor handling of everything he’s done while in office. And america is now accutely aware of the fact that he has no real experience, or leadership skills. A fact that the left wing media tripped over themselves trying to hide. He will have to debate paul, without the use of a teleprompter. Claims that b.o. Secured the support of the Christian right and the support of our military men and women will already be known to be a lie this time. The only thing thats left is for the mitt and newt supporters to give a real, open minded look at ron paul . He is pefectly electable. Particularly if you vote, standing on princible. And you believe in the Constitution as much as the fighting men and women who swore an oath to defend it.

    • oneAmerican

Jason. a tree that will not bend will break, just as many who have principal & stand on that platform hard & firm may topple pricipal & all. Still I like your thinking & do wish that today’s world allowed us the luxary of such a patriot. maybe tommrow ..

Jason… He just stands up there and makes weird faces. Then, then he will write like mad for a while. Then he opens his mouth and pure foolishness dribbles out. How many people who have not been to brainwashing school will vote for him?

  • Jason

@ az don: ron paul has said on numerous occasions that he is MORE conservative than any one he is running against. And being anti war does not make you a liberal. Im sorry, but hippies and libtards dont get to OWN being antiwar.

  • 1minuteman

its articles like this and ron paul followers like on this page that makes me think i could never vote for ron paul. with him and his followers i see little difference between them and obama and friends.

    • Patriott 101

      1minuteman,
If you took more than a minute to decide on a candidate you would have settled on Ron Paul already!

  • Jason

@ 1 minuteman. You mean ron paul followers like our military men and women? Wow, you just wrote us all off in such a cussory way-i can only assume that you are either a troll, a rino/neocon, or you just plan old havent done any reading on the matter and have made up your mind without an open minded comparison. People spouting exactly what the mainstream media run 24/7. They love mitt, they’ll tolerate newt. But they are scared of paul. That alone tells you he is good for us. Please take a few minutes : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e88t4pwExVI&feature=youtube_gdata_player

  • Jason

    Sorry, I meant cursory

  • Tex

I suspect half of Paul’s fans are planted ‘fanatics’, just hoping we are foolish enough to nominate another imcompetent ass. If not that, then maybe encouraging “the second moon beam” to run as a third party candidate to enhance Berry’s chances.

  • rick

I would have to say there is a lot of difference between ron paul and the rest of the candidates, for one thing the rest are all mainstreamers compared to paul, another way of stating it is he is for the common people, not the common white house type.

  • MeMikeT

Wow, let me quote part ofwhat I just read…“Ron Paul, the candidate of real change, will face off against establishment flip-flopper Mitt Romney in the Virginia primary,…”

Let me fix it a little. A fact was left out. It should start: “Ron Paul, the BLAMe AMERICA candidate…”

    • RonW

MeMikeT. Ron Paul does not blame America. He does however know that because he has had to endure the stench coming out of DC. That spreads all the way to Maui. Seen it up close and personal. America’s Elected Officials and subordinates are.

  • bob corbe

RonPaul has spent years in congress and has not said one word against Obummer till now.
He had the inside track on this that is why he was elected, so why???

  • JR-Patriot

I love the comparison of RON PAUL to Thomas Jefferson ( The smartest man who ever lived ). I don’t know if Ron is as smart as thomas but he is certianly in the same class as Men who love this country. Are we not totally sick of the constant wars that only maim and kill our young people and are fought only to put big money in the pockets of the already rich people. Insanity runs amuck in this country. RON PAUL is the only one who is for the people. The rest are for their wallet and their friends ( Communists ) I guess they have succeded in dumbing down this country. RON PAUL in 2012 or lose all of your rights and possibly your life.

    • Are you Serious

You are clearly insane. Stay away from sharp objects and seek professional help.

  • Todd G

Doc…Paul better get going he only has 13 pct of the vote according to the latest s.carolina polling. This is a military base state as every one knows.

    • Are you Serious

Yes, he needs to get going alright. On a quick path to retirement. The old fool needs to get out of the race if he really cares about the American people.
