Rush: Romney Admits He’s Just Like Obama

Thursday, January 12, 2012

Radio host Rush Limbaugh is scratching his head today at the strategy employed by Mitt Romney in the wake of his New Hampshire primary victory, as the former governor is likening himself to President Barack Obama.

During an appearance on CBS today, Romney said his job-cutting actions at his Bain Capital investment firm were no different from Obama’s bailouts of the U.S. auto industry.

“In the general election I’ll be pointing out that the president took the reins at General Motors and Chrysler – closed factories, closed dealerships laid off thousands and thousands of workers – he did it to try to save the business,” Romney said.

In his analysis of the comment, Limbaugh explained, “Romney said what he did running Bain Capital was no different from what Barack Obama did bailing out the auto industry. Thud! Kerplunk! You’ve got to be kidding me.”

Limbaugh said Romney was actually accepting the premise of his critics such as fellow Republican presidential candidates Newt Gingrich and Rick Perry “that he has gone into these companies with a chainsaw.”

Limbaugh continued, “What Romney should’ve said is, ‘You call what I did layoffs? I was trying to save jobs. I was trying to save companies. Look at what Obama did at General Motors. Those jobs went overseas to the Chi-coms (Chinese communists). Look at how he’s laying off 80,000 soldiers.’ And this is a point. Is Obama trying to save the Pentagon by laying off 80,000 soldiers? No, ladies and gentlemen. Quite the opposite. There’s not a single thing that is common between we as conservatives and Barack Obama. Not a single thing. In the areas of economics and substance there’s not a single thing.”

Obama, muslim, Romney, Mormon, major difference in religious beliefs but not much
political differences that I can tell. Neither inspire us to have trust in them nor in
their ability to lead our nation our of the
corruption we currently see in Washington D.C.
    by either party.

    • daves

      Poor Rush.

    • Lee Baldwin

Hey daves, I would say POOR OBAMA, but I really don’t like the guy. Anybody with a bunch of names, a fake birth certificate & a fake college degree I just don’t like. The FACT that the Barry Show are trying to bring communistic ideals to the United States of America makes me kinda hate him. Romney is just Barry in a rich guy suit with the same ideals. The MAN you bleeding hearts are afraid of is RON PAUL.

    • stevor

Actually, he probably wants to make the country FASCIST, where they Elites rule it and we’re the peasants/slaves.

    • Texan living overseas (until Texas secedes)

Fascism and Communism are not very different. Even the USSR had large corporations (given state monopolies in their fields), a fact most commies tend to overlook.

Frankly, now that Santorum’s record has been outed (he voted to double the size of the department of education, voted AGAINST the right to work act), Romney keeps admitting he is Obama lite, and Gingrich is a serial hypocrite… and unfortunately Michelle Bachmann, the only HONEST social conservative, dropped out… there is only ONE decent choice on stage: libertarian Ron Paul.

And let me point out, all criticism of his foreign policy is mis-placed because we conservatives have forgotten how to WIN WARS.

Ron Paul voted to GO INTO afghanistan, what he is AGAINST is REBUILDING them.

I get so confused when the people on this site who say “Islam is a threat”, support the “wars” which are REBUILDING those muslim countries back into a threat militarily!

We trained 650,000 shiite soldiers in Iraq. Can anyone really say they won’t turn on us if Iran attacks us/Israel?!

That’s all Ron’s saying. We declare war in Congress, WIN THE WAR, then COME HOME, we don’t stay and waste trillions rebuilding muslim fascists back into a threat. And as for any claims he’s anti-Israel, he’s not: he was the ONLY voice in congress who supported Israel’s attack on Iraq’s nuclear reactors in 1981. Even REAGAN condemned Israel for it, but Ron broke with the GOP and stood alone in his support for Israel’s sovereignty.

    • victor

Aman Lee, if these people knew shit about whats going on in the district of criminals, better known as [DC] and that Ron Paul is the only MAN that is trying to warn the Idiots, get yer heads out of the crack jst south of the belt, do some research on their voting record. Ths Man has been fighting for these people for 25 yrs.

      I don’t recall Mitt saying the anti-American,
racist things that Obummer has said.
“White people’s greed leaves a world in need”.
“People clinging to their guns and religion.”
      Remember those Obummer gems?
You can’t convince me that Romney would be as
anti-American and socialist as Obozo is.

    • don

reddbehren- let me ask you a qustion. has mitt.talked about cuting 1 trillon in 1 year or how about 10 years. no does he every talk about our constition being thrassed? no he says he wants to kill obabma care do you really belive that?he is the backbone in obamacare. we got one chance. for gods sake don’t blow it for big gov repuulicans.

    • Rip

Romney is just as anti-guns as o boy

    • Rip

P.s. Just like all corporate raiders, Romney’s goal at Bain was Not to help save those companies, it was to line his pockets!

    • Scott

Maybe, not yet take a good look and listen this guy is nothing more than a white version of Obama he is a lying bullshitter just like Obama, he is a snake oil salesman just look at his fake ass smile that should tell you everything. Ron paul is the only trustworthy candidate of them all, and the powers that be are doing everything in their power to make him look like a crazy old man but the truth is they are scared shitless of him!

    • seabee combat vet

      More like “Poor Dave.”

    • Dave

      Rombama vs. Ron Paul

    • TexasTea

It will come down to Romney VS Paul, as the others will not be in it for the long haul in California or Texas.

We either choose Obama-lite (Romney) or Ron Paul, the only TRUE conservative on the stage. The others are neo-conservatives and that is exactly what’s wrong with the Republican party today. It’s been taken over by the neo-cons, who aren’t that much different than the Democrats.

My vote is, and will remain, with Ron Paul.

    • Ray

Both will be as effective as John Mc Cain was. Hang your hat on either one of these, and we lose and obama wins.

    • jojo58

I don’t think so. People have already have had a taste of “hope and change” and even those that voted for Obama have had enough…I think conservatives have to quit saying that Romney is the only one that can win. That’s CRAP! I think this message is coming from the GOP elites that hope they can co-opt (aka brainwash) people into believing this garbage. With the exception of Perry, whom I think got involved in the election because his wife wanted to be First Lady (remember when he didn’t want to run, and after his Iowa loss everyone expected him to drop out but he came back saying that he said that he needed to make his wife smile?) Mrs. Perry must be quite the ball buster (I thought Michelle was bad!)

    • stevor

      You like somebody else?
      Romney and Gingrich are mini-O’Bummers.
Perry wants to back into Iraq.
Santorum wants to start WWIII by bombing Iran.

I think Paul (who is against the Federal Reserve and NDAA, which none others seem to know of) is the only realy choice.

    • Dorris Ponstingl

I am being VERRY cautious in my choice of picking some one that is a TRUE AMERICAN and will stand by our CONSTITUION ,and so far after doing this as I have said before 23hours of research on Gingrich he is my choice.
He knows the Constitution by heart and will listen to the people.Very smart man, and will be the only one that will beat Barack in A debate.
And take my word for that ,I am over 70 and have heard and saw it all.And I am very comfortable with my decision.
      I am A registered Independent.
Barack has to go ,and Romney is A real Liberal. he is not for the people.
I agree with Rush on this one.I don’t go along with him on everything ,but he is right on with this one.
Just PLEASE RESEARCH Find out for your self.
Help save our country, Get Barack and ALL of his Socialist Coharts OUT.
This will be our Last time to RESTORE AMERICA in Gettin Obama OUT.

    • cmvbih

      This is for Dorris Ponstingl.
      What research have you done?
You honestly like Newt who agreed with Alvin Toffler that our Constitution needs to be buried alongside Thomas Jefferson?
You will vote for Newt who just 2 years ago in an interview with the World Future Society said that we need to ‘fundamentally transform’ our government because our Constitution doesn’t work in the 21st century?
You will vote for Newt whose entire record is about expanding government?
You will vote for Newt who is a member of the globalist elite Council on Foreign Relations who OWNS the main stream media?
Either you have not vetted well at all or you are really an Obummer voter who wants the same just from a Republican this time.
Read this, please, before you pull the lever

    • trackfodder

Paul hates Jews and thinks Iran should have nukes, He also wants to legalize abortion an drugs . In short he is a dangerous crazy loon. “Bless a Jew and I’ll bless you, Curse a Jew and I’ll curse you”.
I Think Caesar is going to declare Martial law when he figures out he can’t win a fair election and we will have to fight. I hope the military will be on our side.

    • stevor

So many people are blindly supporting Israel, though they don’t know how Israel tried to sink the USS Liberty during the 7-day war and have us blame Egypt so we’d do their fighting. Israel (the leaders) is NOT a friend of the USA.

    • Texan living overseas (until Texas secedes)

Paul does NOT hate jews. When Reagan condemned Israel for attacking Iraq’s nuclear reactors in 1981, Ron Paul was the LONE voice in Congress saying America had NO RIGHT to tell Israel what to do, and that Israel had the sovereign right to protect their national defense in attacking Iraq.

So RETHINK your thoughts about him. You are too quick to judge others without giving them a fair shake.

All Ron Paul is saying is we should STOP training 650,000 shiite soldiers in Iraq, who will side against us if we attack shiite Iran.

ALL THE OTHER GOP CANDIDATES support the “wars” which are really muslim army retraining programs!

Ron voted to declare war on Afghanistan, but he voted AGAINST rebuilding them. If you think about it, that’s what you want too! All the other candidates believe “Islam is a religion of peace” so they support Bush’s idea of training millions of muslims in warfare.

THINK ABOUT IT! Supporting the Iraq/Afghan wars is TREASON against the USA and Israel!

    • Texan living overseas (until Texas secedes)

Ron’s okay with war, as long as it is properly declared by the Congress. We BLOW THEM UP, then we COME HOME.

That’s what 99.9% of conservatives wanted after 9/11. We all thought we should turn them into glass, etc. etc. NOT to spend our entire national wealth building them roads, schools, and training millions of muslims how to shoot (presumably to shoot us later on).

ALL the other candidates BUY into Bush’s lies about Islam. They ALL support spending TRILLIONS to give muslims tanks and guns.

Those muslims will CERTAINLY attack Israel when we leave, since we just gave them top-of-the-line military equipment!

If anything we should be attacking the very troops ALL THE OTHER CANDIDATES support training!

    • cmvbih

Wow. Do you always read headlines and take them as fact?
Ron Paul’s economic heros are all Jewish and Ron Paul’s 2012 economic platform was rated as the best of any candidate.
I’ll watch you twist that ridiculous comment you made the other way now.

    • Onyx

No, you are misinformed. The troops who have served/are serving know how important our relationship is with Israel concerning U.S. foreign policy and our national security, whereas Ron Paul agrees with the Arabs/Muslims that Israel shouldn’t even be recognized as a nation. If Paul continues on his current foreign policy stand, it will be the final nail in the coffin for the future of a free U.S.

Does it not surprise anyone that it’s the uninformed young people, misled college students, and lower-income unemployed who are supporting Paul? They need to actually study our history to learn the importance of our Israeli ties. It wouldn’t hurt for them to read the words of God either (concerning Israel) which state in Genesis 12:3: “And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” In other words, go against Israel, and we can expect the wrath of God to rain down on the U.S.

    • Reva-lution

The military supports Ron Paul more than all others COMBINED….by far! They have enough time to research the candidates and they have the first hand experience to see what is REALLY going on….they also are sworn to defend the Constitution. Most vets are educated. I will vote for Ron Paul if only because they put their lives on the line for freedom, it’s the least I can do in return. But I have researched the candidates histories myself and came to the same conclusion as the military/veterans, which is, if Ron Paul is not the nominee, Obama wins, and any other Repub would not be different enough from Obama to make any real difference even if they could beat him. Let’s face it, Paul is the only one willing to make the hard fiscal choices to turn us around before we collapse completely, in which case, your views about Iran won’t matter then.

    • Texan living overseas (until Texas secedes)

ALL the candidates, EXCEPT Paul, support spending trillions to give Iraqi/Afghani muslims tanks, guns, and training.

That’s TREASON against Israel and the USA since those muslims ALL THE OTHER CANDIDATES support training WILL TURN ON US.

If you just THINK for a second you’ll realize America is TRAINING Israel’s future enemies. Ron is trying to save Israel by STOPPING this INSANITY of training 650,000 shiite soldiers in Iraq.

    • Cecile

Uh, yeah…..there is a reason the troops are liking Paul…..he wants to bring all our troops home. You think that is a brilliant move on the wake of what happened in Tehran yesterday? On the contrary, we need to be in “ready mode” should a war arise with Iran. Paul thinks Iran poses NO threat to the U.S. and that is BULL****!

    • muslims are pigs

When it comes to iran,…………… the U.S. poses the threat to itself.

We as a Country should KEEP OUR NOSES out of other peoples business. For some reason this Country will not do that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is the reason the Pig muslims hate us and that is the only reason!

    • don

dam mr. tea you hiting it right. right on the head.

    • John Bearden

I disagree that Obama is Muslim, though he has a great deal of sympathy for them. Obama’s religion is Liberation Theology. There are, of course similarities. Islamic extremism & Liberation Theology are both more political movement than religion. Liberation Theology is pretty much Communism disguised as religion.

    • Bob Swearer

One is a Muslim, One is a Mormon, Both are Morons!

    • GeoInSD

Perhaps on the surface there isn’t much difference between Obama and Romney, but I am extremely confident that Romney is no Marxist that seeks to “fundamentally transform America”.

I really believe that Obama seeks to destroy the USA as we know it. When Obama says “fundamentally transform”, he really means it. I am absolutely sure that Romney has no interest in doing that.

    • don

geo your right all he wants is to change suits. loves big goverment. how far up the road to recovery do you think that will take US. wake up what we have to do is going to hurt. to save us the pain must be beared. one an only one man has a plan. an most of us think he crazy. if there is going to be pain we are not intersted in change.are we

    • Mort

Well James, it appears that you are not aware of your history? There is no simility between a muslim and a mormon! I would pick an american over Obama who only claims to be a native American

    • Grace Bradley

Confidence in Obama 4 years ago came because people were emotionally stampeded into believing he would and could do what he said he would do. People are NOT being stampeded into false confidence in Romney. Instead we are listening, studying him and other candidates. We will not be stampeded and carried away for another golden goose.

  • Raymond

    Good bye Mr.Romney.

    • Frank

I hope you are right. i won’t vote for Obama-lite.

    • MH

I’ll vote for anyone but obama can’t take the chance on 4 more years. USA will be dead and buried after 4 more years of this insanity.

  • brunch20

Lets hope we are not again forced to vote for the lesser of 2 evils!!! Hopefully one of the other Republican candidates will surface with an agenda that is focused on “We The People”. Romney is a disappointing elitest republican who has not put forth a plan or specified a strong path forward for economic recovery. I am afraid that we will be stuck with most of Obamacare and government business as usual if he is elected. We need someone who is willing to make drastic changes to government by reducing wastefull spending, eliminating unnecessary departments an government bueracracy, getting out of the UN, Reduce foreign support, restructure welfare, initiate a strong immagration policy, strenghtening (not weakening) our military and reinstituting the freedoms and constitutional righs we lost under the Obama administration. I do not feel that Mitt Romney is that man.

    • Sheila

I have to agree with you. I feel that Romney is another Obama in a Republican form. One thing I wanted to add to the list of what you said is dethrone the EPA and open up much more oil drilling in the US which will boost our economy, bring our country more revenue and jobs, and eventually bring down the prices of gasoline.

    • Randy

The US exports its gasoline leaving us with a limited supply! (Little known fact)The USA’s biggest export is gasoline when measured in dollars. Keeping our supply low means the prices go up!Supply and demand! Simple democrat liberal agenda item! They believe that americans should be paying 6.00 a gallon for gas and said so publicly!

    • Gerd

Yes. The biggest differences between Romney and Ovomit are:
      1. Both of Mittens parents were white.
      2. Mittens birth certificate was not created in 2011.
      Other than that, no difference.

    • AlleyOops75

I think you’re wrong about Romney being an elitist republican…I think he’s an elistist democrat in sheep’s clothing..Glad that the man made of plastic is finally getting his due.

    • DJ S

Obviously you have not read Romney’s plan for economic growth where he has put forth a very comprehensive plan to get America back to work.

    • Chuck

Remember Michele Bachmann? Very unpresidential. Whereas Obama and Romney are quite presidential as have been so many before them and look where we are now.

    • Ann Francis

One is NEVER forced to vote for lesser of evils as long as we have freedom. One very big problem we’ve had is that too many respond to the “evidence” fed them by the elite in political environment.
They are spoon fed ideas that such and such person “cannot” win and they buy it. It is time to get the candidates WE choose instead of who we are told our candidates should be.

    • cmvbih

Well, that can’t be Newt then. Newt voted FOR Carter’s Dep of Education. Also, Newt will not get us out of the UN. When Ron Paul submitted a bill to withdraw the US from the UN and kick the UN out of the US, Newt told him to get lost. For 16 years that bill has been sitting in committees, but Congress won’t give it a fair look. Both dems and reps like us to be under the thumb of the UN.

  • The Enemy

Romney aligns himself with Obama? The RINO McCain endorses him? His past record clearly shows he is a centrist bordering on liberal! And he’s the front runner?? I guess that shows the power of the entrenched “good-ol’-boy” GOP establishment. Todd Palin seems to be one of the few with good perception, as he endorsed Gingrich.

    • Theboss

Todd endorsed a man who is the same as Romney…To heck with Toad.

    • Norma Bleakley

I’m with Todd Palin and Rush. Back Gingrich! He can win! Rommey is almost a second Obama.

    • MH

McCain endorsing him is probably the kiss of death for his campaign.

    • don

enemy- newk is as bad or worse than mitt. if it big want then newk your man. tod may like big gov. wake up we can not afford sameo sameo. this one shot is all we get best get it right.

  • Shane

What Romney said was correct, but it was a mistake to compare himself to Obama. Romney has to find a better way to explain what he did at Bain Capital. It’s a shame that Gingrich and Perry are so gutless and disloyal as to attack Romney for being a successful Capitalist. You would expect that from the anti-business Democrats, but from Republicans it is just disgraceful. Gingrich continues to give the Democrats ammunition with which to attack Republicans. I find his behavior disgusting. Go home you fat old man, you will never become President of the USA.

    • BGinTN

All this has done is make me look deeper.

The vulture statement was a repeat of a old statement of a currant Romney staffer.

      And these;

    • From Fly over Country

Did you even read the interview??? It was RUSH Limbaugh that did the interview. Perry and Newt had nothing to do with it.

Romney is a white O Bummer

    • AlleyOops75

You must have been fast asleep when Romney was comparing himself to Obama…You see, said Romney, I’m just like Obama when he shut down GM and Chrysler to save jobs…

    • Doodlebug

Romney started it at the very first debate. Gingrich tried to ignore it and cover it up but Romney kept at it saying if you can’t take the heat…..etc. Gingrich should have let him have it a long time ago.

    • Hal

I have to disagree with you Shane.
You may not like everything you hear from or about Newt but I really feel he is the ONLY one who has the balls to really make the cuts and do so in a way that the country will survive. I like a lot of what Ron Paul says, but other things I hear from him scares me more than what I like. Romney is a liberal calling himself a conservative. Nothing will change if he is elected. We still have several months. I’m not giving up hope for us all.

  • town mayor

What happened to the T party influence that resaulted in winning all the congessional seats in 2010. Unknowns were elected and unseated incumbants because they were conservative. It was wonderful, but now we can not get behind a conservative candidate to unseat Obama? Why did consrvative America abandon Mechelle Bachman? Where did the passion go? We have short memories in America. Now that the congress is restrained from giving Obama a blank check everyone went back to their routines. The T party needs to re-emerge snd soon.

Spending Bills Passed by GOP House Increased Debt $1T in 10 Months

When the Republican-controlled House approved its first CR on March 4, 2011, the national debt was 14,182,627,184,881.03, according to the U.S. Treasury. As of the close of business on Jan. 9, 2012, the national debt was 15,236,506,139,986.86.
That means the debt increased by $1.05 trillion over the past ten months.

    • Doodlebug

And now the arrogant dummicrat donkey wants another 1.+ trillion more. But you dummicrat donkey will blame the Republicans once again. You should not bother coming to this site, go to a dummicrat one!

    • PWR11

No wait, your telling me the house is to blame for the spending spree in DC? LOL Thats too funny, I guess the other two of the three branches of Gov. just sat back and watched the house spend this money?? What about the trillions spent before the 2010 elections? Before the GOP had even one of the three branches of the spending tree? It was all Dem. Just like the senate who’s job it is is to present a budget has just seemed to forget about that for the last three years? I guess the House is at fault there also?? Liberals have no shame, and no low point, every time I think they could go no lower they prove me wrong.

    • Rip

He’s forgetting that the house is powerless unless it has the support of the Senate, and with Mr. no deal dirty Harry in charge there is no way ! quick to blame the republican majority in the house. but can’t seem to grasp the fact of a Demwit controlled Senate

    • daves

The house is the only branch that can authorize spending. They have been negotiating with the Senate and the President but they do not have to if they don’t want to.

    • Floyd

daves you remind me of an old horse i once had .. he wore blinders, bumping into things all the time,, he never had any sense of direction..the horse always waited for someone to guide him where to go and what to do.. here are your words..the debt increased by $1.05 trillion over the past ten months. obama has been in the white house for the last 36+ months,, an it was actually January 3rd 2007, the day the Democrats took over the House of Representatives and the Senate, at the very start of the 110th Congress.
The Democratic Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995 For those who are listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy that everything is “Bush’s Fault”, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 & 2009 as well as 2010 & 2011.
In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases.
For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budget.
And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009. If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.
If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself.
In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is “I inherited a deficit that I voted for, And then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th.”

    • daves

Calculations by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office and other independent fiscal experts show that the $1.1 trillion cost over the next 10 years of the Medicare prescription drug program, which the Republican-controlled Congress adopted in 2003, by itself would add more to the deficit than the combined costs of the bailout, the stimulus and the health care law.

This is just one more reason why Romney should not be the standard bearer for the Republican Party. The Republican Party needs a “Reformation.” The TEA Party needs to get back in the fight and make sure one of the “anti-Romneys” gets the nomination. Romney is too liberal to go up against Obama. Romney’s nomination would be a big mistake because even if he’s elected President there will be no just outcome for We The People.

The social justice machine is revving its motor; Romney, Obama, any moderate republican/democrat is not what this country needs at this time, when does a failed agenda; Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush and reveal it is time for a changed course; not the same, with a different look.

We need the Constitution to retain our Freedom as individuals!

when someone can not see the difference between iran having the bomb and Israel having the bomb then he is dangerous, Isreal has had it for years and never used it if iran had one they would use it within 30 days

    • Onyx

ABSOLUTELY!!! When Ron Paul says with a laugh that Iran won’t even pursue a nuclear bomb, we have every reason to believe he’s just as dangerous as the terrorists who want to kill us all. He’s simply aiding and abetting the enemy, even if it is through ignorance.

    • cmvbih

I want the quote where Ron Paul said that. You know you are unabashedly lying and have committed a sin.
      Shame on you.

I hate to admit it, but the more that this goes on, the better Ron Paul starts to look. I don’t agree with him on a major issue, but at least I know where he stands and what he’ll do. And his financial policies are probably what we need now that we’ve gone this far down the wrong road.

I believe Mitt Romney is the only Republican candidate who can defeat Obama. Romney may
lack charisma but then so did Eisenhower. I happen
to think Eisenhower was the best president we had in the last half century. If the Republicans nominate a bible thumper or
Newt Gingrich who has more baggage than
Obama, then we will lose. Ross Hawkins

Eisenhower had a cake walk as POTUS…no problems…his greatest call to fame was the start of the interstate highway system..Very popular war hero that, like most ole warriors, they never die, they just fade away..ala MacArthur.

    • TexasTea

I’ve watched Eisenhower’s last speech a dozen times, where he warns us of the military industrial complex, way back then. In the decades since, it’s become a monster.
Ron Paul is the only one speaking out against it.
He’s the only one knowledgeable enough and the only one honest enough to deserve my vote.

    • PWR11

The largest concern I have is the nomination of the next Supreme Court Justices. I know if Obama gets back in it’s hello liberal Supreme Court for the next thirty years!! I think we must at all cost keep Obama out of office for this reason alone. If that means I have to vote for Mitt, I’ll do it…I might not like it, But I’ll certainly do it. If Mitt gets elected I would feel pretty good about our chances of “Holding his feet to the fire” in order to get good strong Conservative Judges appointed. As long as he is looking at a re-election run I feel he would deliver on this. Like I said,I would put up with 4 years of Mitt to keep obama from having a lame duck run for four years of raming liberal B.S. down the throat of the American people.

Mine also, Romney is a Sleeze bag. He is a typical White collar bureaucrat, they all play the political game… Walk the Walk, Talk the Talk. And I believe since the main stream media has him winning, that O bummer has something on Romney, and he will pull it out at the last minute. WAKE UP America…. dig deep and ask the right questions.

  • Marlene

People are saying they’ll vote for ANY nominee that can run against Obama. I’ve tried that mindset where Romney is concerned and my stomach goes into violent and painful spasmodic tremors. I trust my gut instincts and it says a resounding “NO” to Romney. Heaven help us make a wise and all-American choicce to run Obama into the ground. Perhaps even to push him into committing suicide because he’s a failure – even if George Soros has to hold the gun to his head.

I don’t see the two incidents as even remotely alike. One turned private stock holders shares over to the government and the unions that destroyed them, while the other was a necessary operation in trimming excessive overgrowth.

Gee, did Mitten really do that? Just maybe he will be a better man for the job than I had been thinking!

  • Micah

Romney and Obama are nothing at all alike. All of you who say they are, are speaking foolishly.

    • Gerd

      Well Micah, just for starters:
      Both did Obamneycare.
Both provided government funded abortions and claim they didn’t.
Both are for same sex marriage but claim they are not.
      Both appointed homosexual judges.
Both covered their tracks in history. Obama’s background is a secret. Romney’s government appointees took their hard-drives out of their state owned computers when they left. Records, emails, what emails? There are none.

  • Thomas Beckett

Romney is great at playing the middle for the liberal votes. By comparing himself with obama, he’s setting up a means of gaining liberal votes which will help him win the election. How else to steal obama’s votes from him?

When Romney compares himself to Obama…BIG MISTAKE!!! He loses his Republican votes. What a stupid thing for him to say.

Luke 10:18And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
In ancient Hebrew the word for lightning is barack, the word for heaven or the

Usury is unlawful; expressly prohibited by GOD!
Article 1 Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution clearly states that only the Congress can print and coin money!

The Federal Reserve Act of 1913 was slipped thru congress during the Christmas break with the majority of it’s members absent.

The Federal Reserve is self serving and privately owned in violation to the Constitution, charging interest on illegally printed money. Money printed from nothing!
In America On June 4, 1963, a virtually unknown Presidential decree, Executive Order 11110, was signed with the authority to basically strip the Federal Reserve Bank of its power to loan money to the United States Federal Government at interest. With the stroke of a pen, President Kennedy declared that the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank would soon be out of business. Five months later A UNITED STATES PRESIDENT, PRESIDENT JOHN F. KENNEDY was MURDERED BY COMMUNIST!

3And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.

OMG, is there a Decent person left in this country? Has EVERYONE gone Corrupt? It’s almost like the Republican Party is trying to put Obama back in office, God Forbid! Are they trying to put the Least Likely of the candidates up against Obama, so that Obama will win? Who’s side are you on, Rep. Party? My big question with Romney has been: Will you Appeal Obamacare? I think all the Rep. candidates should be asked that question!

    • Doodlebug

Why would he repeal obummercare? It’s patterned right after his romneycare! I strongly doubt that he would do anything with it.

The title of this article is definitely NOT TRUE. Study the exact words of Romney. He said he had to downsize to save companies and Obama downsized companies. It is an amazing lie and stretch to say Mitt said he was LIKE Obama. It is a huge fabrication to say that! Romney is always contrasting his past, his record, his beliefs, and his philosophy. Take a second and think about what the motivation for saying Romney is like Obama. Isn’t it to hurt Romney with disregard or ignoring the truth?

Are people really this gullible? The actions were similar to save businesses with one HUGE difference Bain saved business with their own money(shareholders), while Obama save businesses with tax payer money.

Bain was able to give the profits to the shareholders once the business were stable since it was their money they risked. Obama gave the money to the unions while all the other taxpayers will never see a dime from their money. Tax money vs Shareholder funding is VERY different.

  • Mike88

Ron Paul is the only anti-elistists anti-establishment candidate running in 2012 who has the right ideas to correct the errors of many past administrations. The people that spread lies about Ron Paul are the elitists and their minions who desparately want to keep their power and will say anything to influience the voters. We need to overcome their snide comments and lies about Ron Paul and look at what Ron Paul is really saying. Ron Paul is saying lets live and govern our nation by the Constitution and only do what the Constitution allows the Federal Government to do, and allow the states and the people to retain the powers they origionally had. What Ron Paul wants to do is follow the guidlines laid out in our Constitution which does not authorize a Central Bank which creates debt for our nation and many other things that the Federal Government is doing today that it is not authorized to do.

  • Justwonderingwhy!

I didn’t write this one, but I wish I had.
The day the Democrats took over was not January 22nd 2009, it was actually January 3rd 2007, the day the Democrats took over the House of Representatives and the Senate, at the very start of the 110th Congress.
The Democratic Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995 For those who are listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy that everything is “Bush’s Fault”, think about this:
January 3rd, 2007, the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress:
The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77
The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%
    The Unemployment rate was 4.6%
George Bush’s Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB CREATION!
By the way GWB had Nothing to do with the GM bailout MR. Obama did all of that not GW!!!!!!!!!
    Remember that day…
January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee.
The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy?
THANK YOU DEMOCRATS (especially Barney ) for taking us from 13,000 DOW, 3.5 GDP and 4.6% Unemployment…to this CRISIS by (among MANY other things) dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from YOUR Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac FIASCOES!
(BTW: Bush asked Congress 17 times to stop Fannie & Freddie – starting in 2001 because it was financially risky for the US economy). Barney blocked it and called it a “Chicken Little Philosophy” (and the sky did fall!)
And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac? OBAMA
And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie?
OBAMA and the Democrat Congress, especially BARNEY!!!!
So when someone tries to blame Bush…
Bush may have been in the car but the Democrats were in charge of the gas pedal and steering wheel they were driving the economy into the ditch. Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democratic Party.
Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 & 2009 as well as 2010 & 2011.
Let’s remember what the deficits looked like during that period:
If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.
If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself.
In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is “I inherited a deficit that I voted for, And then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th.”
There is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!
“The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.”
That my friends constitutes socialism…a welfare state.

  • Less Govt4Me

Romney needs to NOT be the nominee for this election. The fact he’s beingcrammed down our throats tells me that the GOP establishment doesn’t take the Obama threat seriously. I do. The man is trying to dismantle America and all she has stood for since 1776!

    • Ladyliberty

Rinos and Progressives are alike and want the same thing…money and power. Republicans didn’t get anything done in congress that the people wanted; because they didn’t want to listen to the people and told us all kinds of excuses to pacify us. SAMEO SAMEO BUSINESS AS USUAL; BOTH SIDES.

  • Colt Lane

Romney is a liberal posing as a republican. Newt at this point is our only wise choice. McCain is a loser & so is romney.

  • Gailyn Baker

If the courts are trying to keep Obama off of the ballots because his father was not a natural born citizen then the same should apply to Romney . He reminds me of s snake oil salesman back in the old days , tell you anything to sell you on his crap. Sorry not buying it. If Romney becomes my only choice will just keep my butt home. The only difference between Obama and Romney is color.

  • steve wright

Romney = RINO this is nothing more than a progressive republican I will never vote for him I will vote 3rd party or write in another. But this progressive will never get my vote.

  • TeaPartyPatriot4ever

Just because something is legal, does mean that is right or good. Although it’s not what really happens in real life, that does not mean people and companies cannot strive to be and act, in a more positive constructive business practice, where they produce and make products, instead of destroying them, and all those around them, ie; the workers, their pensions, families lives, and the communities as well, are affected and lose everything they have..
And this is not merely just about legal or illegal corporate raider practices, more so than it is about Romney’s core values of Morality, Integrity, and Ethics, thus is about Romney’s personal character, especially if he wants to be the U.S. President.
So the Romney Bain issue matters, as it is all about who we really want to be at America’s helm, as the next U.S. President. Someone who exemplifies Reagan’s courage, morality, integrity, and ethics, ie; Conservative Values and Principles, or liberalism, cronyism, false conservatism, and no personal character qualities of worth.

  • Colt Lane

We are not going to let a handful of liberal republicans decide who are next president is. We will vote for the best man or woman for the job.

  • Angela

I have read all of your comments. I respectfully disagree with Ron Paul and his outrageous policies he wants to enforce. They are morally corrupt! Romney is no Conservative and he did say he did as obummer did. The only CONSTITUTIONAL candidate is Newt! Newt will repeal obamacare, bring jobs back to the U. S., he will balnce the budget and he will UPHOLD Israel. Those are just a few things he will do. I have researched each candidate and the only one that can debate obummer and win is Newt. He is the most intelligent one of the buncg!

    • cmvbih

Newt wants to get rid of our Constitution and bury it alongside Thomas Jefferson just as his mentor, Alvin Toffler, said. Newt pushed Congress to vote for NAFTA which was step one in creating the North American Union – the CFR’s plans to merge Canada, America and Mexico into the same European Union model. Why do you think Newt wants to give amnesty to all the illegals? It’s because he already sees them as North American Unioners! You, like so many who support Newt, are blind to his ‘futurist’ vision for the world.
Newt said he is a ‘futurist’ and futurists believe in a one world government.
Read the histoy of NAFTA GATT and the WTO. Then read about Alvin Toffler.
Then read what TeaPartyorg has to say about him

    • Ladyliberty

Morally corrupt? Just what is so corrupt about Ron Paul fighing for our constitution, freedom and our rights? This is the foundation of our country and we need to stop the progressives and rinos from circumventing our constitution.

I’m sorry my fellow conservatives are thumbing down your comments.

They just fail to see how ALL THE OTHER CANDIDATES, except Ron Paul, are supporting the training of Israel’s future enemies. All the other candidates support spending all of America’s wealth to rebuild muslim countries and the 1 million guns as well as training America gave to Iraqi/Afghani muslims.

Rather than TAKING AWAY their tanks/aircraft, the USA has been giving Iraq/Afghanistan MORE equipment and basically is training Israel’s future enemies.

ALL the candidates except Ron Paul support training those future enemies of Israel.

  • TeaPartyPatriot4ever

The Republican Party establishment, and colluding Independents, not to mention the far left liberal media, are absolutely determined to put that Liberal RINO Romney, in the Republican Party Nomination seat, and then the White House, instead of Newt, which would be the death nill of the Tea Party Conservative influence, thus would destroy any and all Constitutional Conservative Tea Party causes and issues to be implemented, let alone addressed.

Romney is the Anti-Tea Party candidate, who is being touted as the sensible moderate middle class electable Republican. Romney will absolutely maintain the status quo, as well as destroy Reagan Conservatism, forever.

Romney is the Anti-Ronald Reagan Conservative, thus, is the antithesis of Reaganism.. and as stated by Romney himself, is an Obama facsimilie.
“The principles of wealth creation transcend time, people, and place.  Governments which deliberately subvert them by denouncing God, smothering faith, destroying freedom, and confiscating wealth have impoverished their people.”
    ~ U.S. President Ronald Wilson Reagan ~

Perry? The guy who embedded the UN’s Agenda21 in Texas?
      No Thanks.

Vote for the Restoration of America.

I will be the first to admit I am not an authority on who will best fit the bill to be nominated as the Republican presidential candidate but I guess I can say from the comments above the spectrum is rather varied. Everyone has a right to his or her opinion after hearing their platform. I pray for the sake of American for many reasons that the person who gets nominated will lead us in a direction of survival. God is in control of America’s destiny as is also true for Israel His chosen ones. I am not in a position to knock any of the comments posted above as that is what America is all about. The freedom to make your voice known. We all know we love America and want the best for the greatest nation on Earth. We must all pull together in one voice to defeat Obama. We pray God puts the right person in place to do so! God Bless America! A proud veteran!

Romney will take our country to hell the way Ali bama did. The madness will continue.

  • Greg

The U.S. has bought and paid for politics. The Global elite(Bilderberg Group) slowly but surely takes over and everything falls into place.

  • Inside Agent

Have been saying that all along. Perry, Romney SantaAnna (Sanrorum) all big money liberals. Gingrich and Paul are currently our only hope. Hmmm Pres and VP – good team.
G Pres and P to keep him straight or P Pres and G with the political savy to implement.

If anyone knows the Sheriff Joe, tell him that the only opportunity to get rid of Obama before the election is to release the report prior to his nomination otherwise any action under the statue (Warrento) would have to come from Holder or DC US Attorney and you can guess what that would mean. None

  • j bradbury

Romney was misinterpreted Maybe not the way to answer question Still the best candidate Many peope dont understand business that well

    • cactusbob

Mitt may have had the right idea, but he did a lousy job of expressing it. He turned a golden opportunity to send a valuable lesson into another reason to question his fitness.

And this is a good time to emphasize that no matter who becomes the Republican nominee, all non-ObamaVoters need to get their votes in for the Republican candidate. This is no time to “stand on principle” or otherwise waste your vote. OBAMA MUST BE DEFEATED.

    • Belcara

At this point it boils down to which of the Republican candidates are willing to work with Congress. We cannot have a dismantled Congress and a defunct Constitution. Obama will not work with Congress so we need a candidate who can win and who will play by the rules and work with Congress to keep this country afloat.

This Country is too big to not have infrastructure and order.

  • Dale

@ Paul supporters. I like Ron Paul, but I would NEVER vote for anyone, for any office, that is over 65 years old. I too am a senior and I get it!

  • Ohiogirl

It is a priviledge to vote,, we have to pay attention to what is going on with Obama,Sony is backing him,Hollywood,Brangelinas and all their friends, Unions, Banks,China, and his songwriter, Obama will be singing a song of Rhianna’s, all of our money is down the drain so to speak, also, Iran went to visit Cuba today , now we know where Obama will travel next,he cannot cope with secrets. Once he gets to Cuba, we are doomed,I hope all the Cubans are watching Obama, he will not honor your dreams. Vote Republican!

    • cactusbob

And don’t forget who Obama’s friends and supporters are. He has been endorsed by the Communist Party USA and Democratic Socialists of America (which has around 70 or more members in Congress). These enemies of liberty don’t even have to field a candidate with the Democrat Party under George Soros’ control. Long-time Democrats need to realize that their party has been bought and paid for by Soros and other big government proponents who want the USA to decline. Don’t vote for their candidates, vote Republican.

  • BillF

Whoever becomes the Republican Candidate, we will all have to stand behind him. No third party or it wil be a shoe-in for the Muslim/Marxist Obama. This P.O.S. has unlimited funds from Soros, Organized Crime in America, Muslim Countries and all his fund raising here. Obama would finance a third party under the table. This is called buying the Presidency! Same as in 2008.

    • cmvbih

You could not be more WRONG! Just like the GOP chose McCain and we had no choice in 2008, the GOP has selected Romney and will do everything in its power to have him as the nominee KNOWING he will NEVER beat Obummer. The banksters are backing Romney now but in the general election give all their money to Obummer AGAIN.
Wake up and stop spouting the talking points the LSM has taught you.
For once in your life vote for our Constitution, instead of against it.
Stand UP and be a patriot instead of a mindless sheep like the GOP wants you to be.
“Always vote for PRINCIPLE, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that yur vote is never lost.”
      John Quincy Adams

    • cactusbob

That kind of principle will get Obama reelected. Either he or the Republican will be President, so don’t waste your vote on principle.

    • Belcara

That sort of Romantic thinking worked back then but it will not work now. Our world has become too complicated overrun by sinister greed and those willing to take what is not theirs by force or illegal lawmaking.

    • SanctuaryLady51

I agree. Watch out 4 that trickster!

  • Carol Fryer

now I could have told Rush Romney was like Obama and it wouldnt even cost him the air time. dang.

  • Carol Fryer

I will not not not vote for a far right rino who has trashed our constitution. No thanks.

    • Johnnygard

Carol, Right wing rino is an oxymoron.

  • http://aol nmcurtis

Barack Obama is an evil, dangerous man …. that’s where he and Mitt Romney differ. But, I still wouldn’t vote for Mitt.

    • May

OK, so you get Obama again. Ron Paul is the answer. He is not an isolationist and people need to research his military stance. Paul needs to make it clearer instead of doing misleading sound bytes.

  • MH

Romney has lost his mind what o did was totally wrong. The government should not be stepping in and taking over private business to save it. If a business is not being run properly it should go bankrupt. It’s not the governments right to stick it’s nose in at tax payers expense and save it.

  • rkz777

    • http://yahoo peter tefft

Absolutely correct. Dem/Rep are all the same. Career politicians not meant to be are killing the republic because they are setting themselves up to be among the elite, trying to save themselves from commie/socialist agendas. We have to vote them out all of them with more than 4 years incombency. I dislike Romney as well as most of the other candidates, I think Sarah Palin would have been a constitutional president, I’m very disappointed and scared to death of what 2012 election holds in store for us. I have hopes but dim, the system is so corrupt I’m not sure it can be saved. God Bless America.

    • Dale

There is one Constitutional candidate who’s congressional record is 100% with in the confines of the constitution, That is RON PAUL he is the only strict consitutionallist in the race check his record your self, I have checked all of them, Dr. Paul is the only one that has voted against big Government and Constitutionally illegal legislation

    • Doug

Look people, we conservatives have two goals—to remove BO from the WH and to control the house and senate. We have an obligation for our cause to vote our convictions in choosing our Republican nominee. Then, regardless which candidate wins our nomination, then we must remain united in our vote to remove BO. We cannot afford to lose votes due to “write-ins” of anyone, including Ron Paul, if he is not chosen as the leader of our party. Seriously, in the general election, please plan to vote for our Republican nominee, regardless of who that is. A write-in does not have a chance–so don’t waste your vote in that case. Let’s stay united in our efforts. Thanks for considering this!

    • Charlie

I would even vote for Ron Paul if he were the Republican candidate. I’d rather have someone who loves the Constitution (and would presumably, therefore, appoint real judges to the judiciary, not judge, jury, and lawmaker) but could put our nation in harms way militarily than one who is bent upon systematically and subversively destroying our nation (and our Constitution) from within. In any case, let this be a year of PRAYER and supplication to God Almighty. May he have mercy on us for having allowed our educational system, our courts, our airwaves, our morays, and our standards to fall so far since WWII. Is it too late for Marco Rubio or Allen West to jump in? Maybe not.

    • Charlie

Ron Paul has good points, but bottom line he is simply too weak to address our foreign threats. Neville Chamberlain comes to mind. Peace at any cost only serves to raise the cost of peace.

    • Charlie

Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Put too much power in the hands of too small a number of people and it will attract the power hungry like a magnet; and freedom, and govt of the people, by the people, & for the people will have to be diminished. If you’re willing to put the right to life, or the right to worship God (or not) or speak of God as you see fit, into the hands of five Justices and also elect congressmen who do nothing to remove renegade judges from office, you get the unjust judiciary that we have. If you’re stupid enough to think that unfairly taxing the rich and not taxing the poorer folks will make the rich less righ and the poorer people less poor, you get the inefficient and unfair tax system that we have, whose primary purpose is really to shift power from the private sector to the power-hungry statists in the government. If … it’s getting past my bedtime, and I must go.

    • Bill

Well I dont like the candidates running either but I would vote for my little black dog before I would vote for Obama. So the winning Repub will get my vote

    • rotor 700

      Vote Ron Paul

    • valene

    • JOSEPH

GET REAL!!! If you delete Dr. Paul on just ONE issue such as foreign policy you are a total poof brain! I would MUCH rather have a president with questionable foreign policy that a socialist in the White House who has ANTI-CONSTITUTIONAL domestic policy. WAKE UP before it is too late!

    • kate

I agree with you and I really don’t see how Dr. Paul’s foreign policy worries people. He has not said that he will not go to war. What he has said is that when the time comes he will follow the Constitution and go to Congress and use the proper Declaration of War Powers enumerated in the Constitution. He has also said that these wars would not drag on. Get in their, get the job done and come home. Dr. Paul was very upset the day Osama was captured and the soldiers were told to let him go on February 22, 2004. Now that’s what makes me question “Dangerous” foreign policies.

    • Charlie

If it comes down to a choice between Ron Paul and Barry-who-chose-to-be-called-Barak-Hussein-Obama, I totally agree. But we’re not there yet.

    • Sonshine Purifies

Valene, See and listen to the speech that Ron Paul made the night of January 10th. Then go and READ his foreign policy on his website………….. thank you

    • cactusbob

He may be “horrible” but even horrible would be better than reelecting Obama – or allowing him to get reelected by not voting for the Republican. Time is coming to hold your nose and vote for the Republican candidate, whoever it may be.

    • Charlie

Agreed. And that was clear when they RAMMED through Obamacare, without reading it, and many other times way before there even WERE any known Republican candidates.

    • The Bob

Hidden, due to low comment rating? WTF? All you said was to suggest that everyone vote for Ron Paul. What’s so terrible?

    • Dave

Very, very well said. I just hope your letter translates to U.S. voters becomming smarter.

    • Wondering Woman

I believe the one you are describing is the one that a lot of us are planning to write his name in if the republican party isn’t smart enough to buck the new world order and “allow him to win”. His name is Dr. Ron Paul, who has a long past history of voting in accord with our Constitution, sees where the problem is and has a plan to fix the problems. Please join us in supporting him!

    • Ladyliberty

Anyone…name me just one thing that out shines our constitution…because without our constitution we will have nothing but dictators that do what they want with a stroke of a pen; haven’t you had enough of this BS from Obama. OPEN YOUR EYES!!! Both big government parties want money and power. Not Ron Paul. Our last man standing just may be,”Ron Paul”.

    • awakenow

Ladyliberty … many of us have joined the Ron Paul CONSTITUTION Revolution!

    • The Bob

All the negative comments I’ve heard about Dr. Paul, are centered on foreign policy. Please keep in mind that all Presidents depend on “advisors” to set foreign policy. No one person is going to bring about any radical foreign policy changes all by himself. There are heaps of folks involved in that sort of thing.

    • awakenow

      Wonderging Woman … ditto!

    • awakenow

      Sorry. That’s “Wondering” Woman.

    • Dorothy Heath

rkz.,I think Mitt Romney better readup on the Obama Admin.,don’t you????I would NEVER compare myself to Obama if I wanted to WIN an election!!!!Obama took over the Auto industry to further his socialist plans for America and plans for the U.N.One World govt., I feel NOT to save jobs or the auto companies, just like everything else he has started taking over!!If Mitt Romney doesn’t know THAT he better not run for president, You HAVE to know WHAT you are fighting against to SAVE our Great country from SATAN’S grasp today!!!!

    • OneCitizenOfTheRepublic

per unitatem vis (“through unity, strength”)

If we fail to unite, we shall surely fail to win in November

    • Evelyn Levine

It will not change if Romney wins. He is Obama all over.

    • kate

Romney is like Obama, he gave us the blueprint for National healthcare and has just said that what he did at Bain Capital is the same as Obama did with the car industry.

Gingrich believes in global warming, makes commercials with Pelosi about it.

Perry hasn’t left his former life as a Democrat behind as he doesn’t like free markets and wants to push immunizations on little girls in that “I know what’s best for you” arrogance.

Huntsman must thing Ron Paul’s message is pretty good. His speech after NH sounded like something Dr. Paul has said.

Rick Santorum calls himself a civil republican, that’s code for Progressive and that knocks him out of the race — socialism with a conservative spin.

I’m standing with the guy that fights for the individuals that comprise the US citizenry, not select groups. The guy that wants to be President of the United States, not the Leader of the Free World as there is plenty to do right here at home.

    • Sonshine Purifies

See the following videos…..they will show you all the sickning things that Obama and Romney have in common…… We are dealing with lots of evil and we need to purge Washington!

    • Charlie

Hear, hear. But didn’t someone reverse most of the capitalization? How about this:

Every one of the republican candidates if elected will just succumb to the present LEFTIST-SOCIALIST REGIME. Nothing will change unless someone who actually believes in the U.S. CONSTITUTION stands up before everyone and SAYS it, plus publicly states that OBAMA and ALL of HIS CRONIES ARE TRUE SOCIALISTS, and he (candidate) will remove all of these ENEMIES of America from the U.S., once elected. It has nothing to do with if someone is REPUBLICAN or DEMOCRAT, FOR THE LEFTIST-SOCIALIST are on both sides; it’s about whether or not a true American is put in the white house to restore our country back to its true roots. The economic situation was a PLANNED EVENT, along with the many bailouts these SOCIALISTS ORCHESTRATED, BRINGING THEIR SOCIALIST DREAM TO END America as we know it to reality. The IDIOT IN WASHINGTON is an ENEMY of America; he hates it and he despises our Christian heritage. If you don’t stand together against these THUGS, then you will have to stand alone at your own DOORSTEP, if indeed you finally wake up in time to do even that. God bless America and protect our children from this PESTILENCE!

  • Ann C

    • Frank

I agree with you completely, but pray that the republican nominee isn’t Romney or Paul so that I don’t have to hold my nose when I pull the lever.

    • Damon

True Frank and appears the Media is electing this Romney–Church ain’t out til the fat lady sings–hope it’s not the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

    • Dwight Hill

Give your heads a shake , fellas . Anybody BUT HUSSEIN IN 2012 ! It doesn’t matter who is the one , WE ARE ALL AMERICANS !! You act as if other people faith as your , shouldn’t be voting . WRONG !!!! That’s why Hussein won the last one you idiots !

    • rotor 700

You foolish Americans will always voter for Obama’s , and Romney’s, but never someone that is honest, and has good ideals, and respects our constitution.

Do you want to continue to be a fool,or do you want to do something good for your country as a whole.

If you are tired of being a fool, then vote Ron Paul, and help get this country back to what is was supposed to be. A constitutional republic with liberty and good fortune for all those that are willing to work for it. I am personally tired of the “wealfare state”.

    • Dave

      I like it, thanks Ann

    • M J Rico

Here’s the problem as I see it; There has to be someone in office that can compromise, otherwise it’ll be more of the same old/same old.
Obama-Lama-Ding-Dong is a spoiled little boy who wants what he wants when he wants it and compromise isn’t in his vocabulary.
Being “Ultra” in anything is just stupid in the current social setting. Fundamentals do have a place… in baseball.
We need to get the country moving in the right direction again, before it’s too late. Moving will take a concerted effort from everyone, We aren’t going to get it done from just one side of the aisle.
Nitwits like Harry and Nancy are too scary to not be taken seriously and if you don’t think so, shame on you.
Me? I’m a conservative, but I also realize that give and take is the name of the game. Give people jobs by taking restrictions off of business. Take Obamacare off the table.
Give the Departments of Agriculture, Internal Revenue, Education, and the EPA the heave ho.
There’s a start. Where do you want to go from there?

    • cactusbob

You pretty much said it all, M.J. Now all we need to do is make sure BHO DOESN’T GET REELECTED, which means don’t waste your vote by not voting for the Republican candidate. Principle can get BHO reelected, think about it.

    • Wondering Woman

Ann, agree with all you say except for “vote for anyone”.

My choice is to vote for the only one with a past history of doing his sworn duty toward our Constitution, smart enough to identify the problems, and has a logical plan to correct those problems. The only candidate meeting those qualifications is Dr. Ron Paul, and my vote goes to him, even if I have to go to the trouble of writing him in during the primary and again in the actual election!

The RNC might be able to keep him off the ballot as the republican nominee, but they cannot keep us from voting him in by write-
      ins if necessary.

If “We the People” stand united and stay that way, “We the People” can give our government
and all the politicians who would be our leaders, the message that we value our Constitution and all it stands for and that we intend to get rid of all who do not value it. Time to stand up for what we believe in and show it by voting for the right candidate, not for a party.

    • Texas Pat

AND……..YOUR CHOICE is going to get us four more years of a man who is attempting to bring America down. All the others, at least care about America, with whatever warts they may have!!!!!!!!!!! They are not Marxists or Communists. For the sake of this country, get over your arrogance and total devotion to Ron Paul. He is okay, but he is not God.

    • C.Davis

No, the only thing that will lead to 4 more years of obamney is if mind controlled television addicts fail to awaken from their stupor and continue to buy into the propaganda being shoveled at them by their manipulators, in the employ of those who OWN both the democratic and republican party’s leadership and decide to support the same mismanagement which put him in there in the first place.
Or, who knows, maybe enough of them will be able to shake off the programming long enough to wonder why the presstitutes are so obviously peeing themselves over the idea of Ron Paul’s vision and research his positions and find out that he wants just what they want for themselves. Naaaah. But who knows?

    • awakenow

Texas Pat, are you saying that Ron Paul is a Marxist or Communist? And, if so, please provide proof of this.

Ron Paul has stood, steadfast, in defense of our Constitution and the individual freedoms given to us by it. He has based every single vote on whether, or not, a bill is Constitutional. If it isn’t, he votes against it.

He IS the Liberty Candidate. He is the only candidate who blasted the National Defense Authorization Act, NDAA, which gives this President the authority to call YOU or any of your family a terrorist, arrest and lock you and yours up indefinitely WITHOUT THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL.

NO due process. No Habeas Corpus. The 4th Amendment is now dead.

And, Ron Paul never voted for the unconstitutional and unpatriotic, spying on Americans, PATRIOT ACT either. Not originally and not any extension of it. The Patriot Act paved the way for the creation of the NDAA and our certain descent into totalitarianism.

      Wake up!

    • Chuck

Tell me Texas Pat what exactly have “All the others,’ done to demonstrate they, ‘at least care about America.” Ron Paul has always voted 100% to defend the Constitution. If you were honest you would have to admit that Ron Paul is the only candidate who has consistently demonstrated that he cares about America and the Constitution and his voting record proves it.

    • Dwight Hill

Paul is a RACIST MOTHER you-know- what ! Did he ever pass a law in 30 + years in the Senate ? And , he’s not a Conservative , he ran on the Libertarian ticket the last two election . And , I bet he will try it again this year . He cries about other Rep.’s for being in the Senate for more than 2 terms , yet he made his retirement from being in the Senate for more than 30 years . Yeah , he have his ” convictions ” all right .

    • http://AOL Lenore

You are very nieve if you think a 76 year old man is electable, just because the younger like his attitude about wars and protecting our country and ruling open doors for Mahranna.

    • Dorothy Heath

I agree Ann,The candidates are being intimidated by the far left and Obama camp starting rumors to cause trouble! And I agree We all make mistakes and have to come to gripes with them in this life with our God!The main thing is DOES this Candidate REALLy Love America and WILL THEY fight to keep her free!We need a true candidate like Michelle Bachmann or Palin or Santorum!Lets stop the dirt throwing amongst the candidates! WE NEED TO STICK TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD OF AMERICA AND BE TRUTHFUL IN OUR COMMITTEMENT To The people of America!!!

    • Ann Wilson Kingsley

Best not to vote for a Republican Obama. Then we could “8” more years of Obama. Vote for a Republican House and Senate to curb Obama then vote for a principled Conservative for president. I will vote for Ron Paul even if I have to write his name in on my ballot.

    • Dwight Hill

      See my last post .

    • David

It’s good to be a patriot & a conservative. But, in an election to rid the country of a socialist dictator, only a fool would “write in” their candidate. It will be a worthless vote and you WILL get the bad guy !!!!

    • kate

There is a three letter organization that the POTUS and 5 out of the 6 presidential candidates belong to, do you really think anything will change when they are just different sides of the same coin?

      Vote your conscience, not party.

    • LEL

ONE PRIMARY and we throw in the towel?
BACHMANN ! Get you ass back in the race!
CAIN ! If America can survive Wiley Willy “The Lech” Clinton, get back in the race.

  • Bill

Rush should know better. Mitt Romney and Bain Capital bought, or invested in failing companies using investor money, willfully invested, and used the money and Bain’s know how to attempt to rescue. This required, on occasion a reduction in workforce but most often the company was saved and went on to success. Obama used tax payer’s money, without taxpayer’s agreement, to bailout the unions while stiffing the bond holders who had invested their hard earned money on their understanding that their investment was very secure. Both GM and Chrysler continue to use taxpayers money to offer lucrative incentives to buy the business while continuing to protect Obama’s union buddies. Despite what the MSM reports, the money has not been repaid. The hypocrisy of the Obama admin and the DNC was very evident when they had one of their useful idiots (all flights, hotels, meals , expenses paid for) show up at Romney rallies. The DNC handler then had the willing media shills come over to interview him only to find he kept his job for sometime, rather than losing it immediately, and only losing it when the union went on strike and the plant was forced to close.

    • WadeH

It is not that Rush doesn’t get it. Read the article, he does. The problem is that Romney ‘fumbled’ he had a golden opportunity to distinguish himself from Obama and he blew it. If Romney can’t do better distinguishing himself from Obama now, he will have a tuff time if he gets the Rep nomination. If Romney can’t step it up then we need to look else where.

    • Dorothy Heath

Bill I agree The Obama Admin will do ANYTHING to cause discourse in the Republican camp and shame on them for falling into their trap and squabbling amongst themselves! I think the people should PUSH the demos into having primaries too!!It is SOOO Unamerican to just let Obama run!!Plus he should NOT be allowed to run this time without PROVING he is eligible!!Which he wouldn’t be with all the fraud he and his Mafia Admin. has done in office he shouldn’t be allowed to run!!!!!!

    • awakenow

Bill Cancel … Romney used his Wall Street “connections” to artificially inflate the value of his stocks with the intention of dumping them when they got enough “suckers” to buy in.

He fired a lot of people in the process, too. And, like Sarah Palin, I want to see actual PROOF of his claims to have created 100,000 jobs. And, why doesn’t he release all his tax records? Is he afraid that people will see just how many offshore bank accounts he has, so he doesn’t have to pay taxes?

Romney’s top seven campaign contributors are:
      Goldman Sachs $235,275
      Citigroup $178,450
      Merrill Lynch $176,125
      Morgan Stanley $170,350
      Lehman Brothers $154,800
      UBS AG $125,150
      JP Morgan Chase $123,800

… in that order, Source: Top Contributors.

Anyone recall bailing out any of these banks a couple years back? TARP? Or, how about the 16 TRILLION that the Federal Reserve secretly printed from 2007 – 2010, out of thin air, and gave 2 TRILLION of it to Morgan Stanley and Citigroup? And 200 MILLION to two Morgan Stanley wives so they could make good on some bad personalloans they had?

Romney has zero interest in making the Fed accountable to We The People through a complete audit.

Look. Romney may have done nothing illegal with any of his Bain activities. But, one thing is clear. Romney has a very cozy relationship with these Wall Street investment banks and he WILL BE giving them a return on their investment in him, if he is elected.

      You can bet on that.

  • http://patriotupdate sam ward

Well there goes his chance of becoming President, so he admits he’s a dumbass antiAmerican terrorist. Political suicide, what an IDIOT. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

    • Dwight Hill

You got to be that dumb . Mitten took over a company that was going into receivership , and and then turned it around , making one of the power houses of trading company of the world . Yeah , you would listen to a pill popper like Rush .

  • lou

Ron Paul or Rick Perry thoses are the only 2 I trust

    • Wondering Woman

Lou, Agree with you on trusting Ron Paul, but wondering why you trust Rick Perry?

Isn’t Rick Perry the one who was going to mandate that both boys and girls in Texas take the gardasil (HPV)? Heaven forbid that anyone should trust someone who would make it mandatory that anyone would have to take any vaccine or other medical treatment/surgery/devise/transplant,etc. against their will (or their parent’s will in the case of a minor).

There is entirely too much controversy over
harmful effects of the vaccines. The fact that the Amish and others who don’t vaccinate and don’t have these problems sure makes it look like the CDC who keeps denying any connection to autism, etc. is lying about there being no connection to autism, etc. and the vaccines.

Trust is not something I would place in someone who either is not interested in keeping up with what is going on in the field or would consider making it mandatory to take vaccine mandatory. If his plan to make the vaccines mandatory for Texas children was in return for contributions from the Gardasil manufacturer, that makes it even worse in my humble opinion.

    • Ann Wilson Kingsley

Ron Paul is my candidate also, but more on Perry. Voters need to look very closely at Perry’s solutions. They sound very far reaching, until we start looking at implementation. Only one of his solutions comes to mind right now, but I have noticed that as a general rule, Perry’s solution does almost nothing. The one I remember is Perry vowing to rescind all of the Executive Orders. That probably is not very far reaching as most of them have probably already gone into law. The House and the Senate would have to rescind the majority of the Executive Orders, with the exception of the very recent ones, not Perry. There is always a catch to the solution.

    • Mary A

The Gardasil vaccines never took place. I believe Perry knows what he is talking about and I like what I hear him say and read about him. We need to give him a second look. The others have too much going against them and if I have to vote for them it will be with great displeasure.

    • Tom

For your information, they already mandate vaccinations for kids….polio, rubella, DPT…they can’t even start to school without those mandated shots….Gardasil is harmless and might save their life later in life….they still give you the polio vaccine and they haven’t had a case of polio in America in 35 years…. So your arguement don’t wash….

    • Dorothy Heath

Lou, I like Ron Paul om some issues but on some of his thoughts I DON”T agree like trusting IRAN!I agree on smaller Federal Govt.,cutting spending, and most of his ideas, but am alittle afraid of some of his ideas!Rick Perry Im’not quite sure of!I guess I still trust Michelle Bachmann more than the rest, because she truly loves America!Sarah Palin does too and would standup against the corruption in Washington and loves America, but she is not running, either!Maybe one of them will be offered the vice presidency huh?I’m still undecided I guess!

    • Ann Wilson Kingsley

Below is documented support for Ron Paul’s foreign policy and military strategy.
      Prepare to be shocked!

      Regarding Ron Paul’s Foreign Policy:
The Israeli Mossad says Iran does not pose a threat to Israel.
A former head of the Mossad warned that Iran should not be attacked because it will set off a regional religious war.
Lt. Colonel Shaffer says Ron Paul’s Iran Policy Most Accurate
Israel has 100s of different kinds of nukes. Ron Paul is trying to keep American tax payers from having to spend more money on wars when we are not being attacked.

Ron Paul is for a strong military:
Ron Paul receives more political donations from military personnel than all other candidates combined. “The libertarian congressman boasts more donations from military members than any other 2012 presidential candidate. The claim was determined “true” by Politifact, after the fact-checking group looked at Federal Election Commission filings.” Santorum has a grand total of $750 from all branches of the military combined! $750!!! Gingrich has an “impressive” $4,900! Romney has a whopping $13,300! Ron Paul has $95,567! I wonder who’s foreign policy the military agrees with! We actually know what’s going on over seas, and many of us support Paul! If you want to stop the endless nation building wars, support who the troops support!
      Read more:
The military supports Ron Paul because he wants to end obsolete bases and military hardware, and he is for advanced technological weaponry research. Ethical American soldiers do not want to fight wars against countries that have not attacked the United States. Ethical people do not attack others without extreme provocation.

      Vote for Ron Paul!

Ann … excellent links documenting some actual facts concerning Ron Paul’s foreign policy, especially with regard to Israel.

I saw the speech given to our Congress last May by Israel’s Prime Minister, Bebe Netanyahu where he said that Israel does not need our protection and that they are very capable of doing that themselves.

Ron Paul will let them do whatever they deem necessary in order to protect themselves. In other words, Israel will NOT have to get our approval in order to take action to defend themselves.

As for Iran and the nonstop Iran getting “the bomb” threat nonsense. Please people. Just stop and use some common sense. Despite all the fear-mongering, Iran knows they will be annihilated if they try to bomb Israel or any other country.

They know they will not be able to even get a bomb out of their own airspace before it is intercepted and destroyed. And, they are nowhere near getting the bomb, according to our Defense Department.

But, one thing they really would like to do is to have us start a war with them. The people of Iran do not like their leadership and there is a lot of tension and anger from the people.

If the West, namely us, starts a war with them by dropping bombs on their nuke facilities, this will be an act of war against Iran and the Iranian people. The regime believes this would then unite the people with the regime and against the West.

This is why Ahmadinejad keeps taunting us and we just might be stupid enough to actually do it.

Do you know where Perry got his ” healthcare ” for Texas from ? (HINT , HINT , Hillary ). Or where he got from his ” Illegal ” people , where his gives them FREE RIDE of they stay out of prison , and go to a community college for four years , ta-TA ! ” Citizenship ” for him and his family ? ( HINT , HINT , Hussein’s ” Dream Act ”

Paul , need I say any more ?

  • Patrick Henry

Ahh, take a breath, Romney was just comparing the results, not the solutions. Romney and Bain used private investments to save companies and create jobs, and took the risks. Obama used taxpayer money and Federal Government to throw money at businesses with us taking the risks, which we are.
I agree Romney should use a different choice of words…….

    • Barb Wolfe

Sorry, but Romney and Bain used what amounts to $10 million taxpayer dollars in their re-structuring of Bain — check it out.

    • Dorothy Heath

Patrick Henry,I too think maybe he was just stating facts and maybe he did try to save the Bain co..I know alot of people who worked at the smith corona here in Cortland lost their retirement savings when it went bankrupt and I felt so bad for them. But the Corona struggled for alot of years, probably before Romney took over!Probably poor management from the beginning trying to expand too fast when computors came in.Anyway I would Never compare myself to traitor Obummer, he is out to destroy America!!!

    • LEL

      “different choice of words” ??
Perhaps. But he sure got people’s attention.
Dam straight he took over sick, failing, dieing companies and used investor money to try and make a PROFIT. Check your retirement portfolio for BAIN holdings before you start cryingpredatoror tack over’.

  • http://none Joy

Romney had better wise up and act like a
Republican. Can’t he talk about how we are
losing our liberty? It is just dumb to
    compare himself to Obama!

    • Mary A

He is a weak thinker when it comes to politics and will go the way the wind blows. He will do well with the “good ole’ boys of the GOP” in WDC. We need someone like Perry who will stand on his own.

  • Brett

Anybody But Obama 2012, if America is to survive.

    • Wondering Woman

      Brett, dear,

Please wake up and smell the roses, or in this case the corruption or treason.

Voting for “anybody but Obama” is not sensible, because a lot of those “anybodys” you might vote for in 2012 just might already
have new world order strings attached to them when you vote for them and the new world order is not going to be yanking the strings for their puppets to “save America”. The only one seen who has identified the problems, has a solution for those problems, and a past history that says he wants to save
America and retain our Constitution is Dr. Ron Paul. So VOTE FOR RON PAUL – even if we have to write him in! TWICE!

    • Brett

      Dear Wondering Woman,

Wake up and smell the roses, Obama’s policies have been so destructive that none of the Republican candidates will be worse than him. Do you honestly disagree? And Ron Paul? His foreign policy is naive and dangerous. We can’t be the police of the world but we even more so can’t ignore world events and bury our head in the sand. To do so would be to let America’s enemies gain strongholds to some day potentially overtake us. Do you want that? I don’t think so.

    • Mary A

A lot of good that will do if Ron Paul does not get the nomination. WW, America needs your vote for whomever runs on the Republican ticket. If you want RP so badly do whatever you can in your power to get him elected. I pray that he doesn’t get it.

    • Ann Wilson Kingsley

If voters accept a Republican, that is probably going to be “8” more years of Obama. Vote for a Republican House and Senate to curb Obama. Then cast a principled Conservative vote for president. I’m voting for Ron Paul, even if I have to write his name in.

    • Ann Wilson Kingsley

CORRECTION TO THE ABOVE: If voters accept a Republican “Obama” that is going to mean “8” more years of Obama.

    • Mary A

Ann, that won’t matter either since 0 will use his executive powers to override anything the house or senate sends him or his veto power. We need a Republican president & House and Senate. He is on the road to destroying this country and his retaliation will be great against his adversaries as president.

  • rotor 700

He is like Obama, and that is why he says it. We will be stuck with diminishing liberties, as well as a health bill that is rotten to the core, and will not work.

  • michael

There’s a lot of unexplained hype about Romney as it is.

    • Dwight Hill

Like what , michael ? I tell you what , not one of this people who want to win the nomination , are nothing but a MAN ,not Gods . But some people act like they are , for one reason or the other . But , show me one of them that didn’t every in their lifetime , not make one wrong mistake . You can’t . It’s the men who stand up and say they were wrong , are the one’s you should be looking at . And , would you believe a pill popper like Rush , would tell you the truth ?

  • Dave

It almost looks like Perry is out of it. That leaves Ron Paul. Paul has an agenda. His adgenda is to cancel whatever he can that the O has done to hurt this country. Do not mistake Mr. Paul for a no-talent loser. He will straighten out this country, but he needs a Republican congress to do it. In November it is VERY important to also vote in Rebublican congressmen/women.

    • Wondering Woman

Hey, Dave, congratulations – you got it figured out – and know who to vote for.

Let’s hope that enough of those who haven’t will do so before November 2012. Our career
politicians and the federal government are in desperate need of a wake up call that “We the People” want our country and our government
back. With the help of our Creator, we will
      get it back.

They are going to try every trick in the book
to tarnish Dr. Ron Paul, but folks, just look back at this man’s past record in politics to remember who to vote for.

    • Johnnygard

For weeks I’ve been asking for examples of leadership accomplishments from Ron Paul. Since none of you has offered a single example (other than the claim that his voting record is good), I looked up his record.
      112th congress – introduced 47 bills – none passed
111th congress – introduced 61 bills – one passed to convey a parcel of land to Galveston Hist. Foundation.
      110th congress – introduced 70 bills – none passed
109th congress – introduced 71 bills – one passed to commend NASA on a Shuttle Mission.
WOW, What a record of leadership, 249 bills introduced and two (2) passed. Did you see how historic they were?
Is that the kind of leadership we can expect if he gets to the White House?

    • Ann Wilson Kingsley

His leadership ability is showing up in every single candidate and in the polls. All of the candidates raced to copy Ron Paul’s plan or part of his ideology or rhetoric to stay in the race. Ron Paul set the pace. The bills are Ron Paul’s usual agenda. Now finally voters are listening, and when he is president most of the bills will pass.

    • Johnnygard

If you have a President from either of the major parties, members of the party are more inclined to go along with the Presidents wishes out of party loyalty (and wanting support from either the DNC or GOP). As Paul is a Libertarian, who couldn’t get anything accomplished in the House, he won’t be much of a leader in the White House either. BUT UNLIKE YOU RON PAUL NUTS, I will vote for Obummers opponent, no matter who it is, because in four more years it will be too late.

    • Dwight Hill

I ask you one thing , did Paul EVER pass ONE bill that he wanted that he billed ? He sat in the Senate for over 30 years , and you don’t call that as being a ” Lifer ” ? Paul wants to lower the troops by at least 1 million , and to close every base that out of the country . Do you feel more safe if he has his way ? And , he doesn’t want to trade with the world , yet he claims to know how to turn this boat around . Yeah , riiiiiiiiiiight …………..

    • Johnnygard

Dwight, Now don’t exagerate, I think Ron has only been in Congress for around 22 or 23 years. And he has already passed two bills (see what I said and 10:44 above) so that is one success almost every 10 years.

    • awakenow

Dwight, Ron Paul has sponsored many bills and all of them have been Constitutional and none of them have been spending money we don’t have and pushing up the debt ceiling.

And, Ron Paul was the LONE voice sounding the alarm on the secretive and powerful, private bank called the Federal Reserve. The same Fed that has printed money out the wazoo and allowed past and present administrations and Congresses to spend us into fiscal oblivion through decades of deficit spending.

We now have a Debt to GDP ratio of 100% and we have joined the ranks of other deadbeat nations like Greece, Spain, Italy and Ireland.

We now are approaching 16 TRILLION in debt and back in 2008, our unfunded and obligations debt on Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid was 100 TRILLION. And, of course, the unending, unconstitutional wars and bloated defense spending on some 900 bases in some 120 countries is adding 1 TRILLION each and every year.

Ron Paul has been against the massive government we now have and its incessant spending with money we do not have for over 20 years. The lobbyists don’t come knocking on his door and, his votes show all of that very, very clearly.

If more of our “elected officials” had a record like his, we would NOT be bankrupt!

  • http://NA Marlee

Please all of you, just get out the vote for whoever is the nominee. It’s the only way we can take back America from the Obama’s and, heaven help us, his possible running mate, Hillary !!

There are only 3 true Americans that I see as
qualified to lead this Great Country of the United States of America, that is Ron Paul, Sarah Paulin, and Micjelle Bachman the others
are just fackes, an I am just a concerned c.itizen

    • Dwight Hill

I agree with your last two names . I don’t think that Paul would never find his way around a corn maze if he had a map and arrows pointing the way out , by himself . And , he’s not a GOP , rather a Libertarian . There is a difference .

  • Anny

The establishment & media are trying to shove Mitt down our throats. We can’t allow it. NEWT is the BEST CHOICE! He is not just good or ok but the best bc he has what it takes to restore our country.

    • Wondering Woman

Anny, If Newt is our best choice, this country sure is in bad shape His past history sure fits that description of “serial hypocrisy”!

    • Dwight Hill

At least Newt passed a couple of laws , unlike Paul . And , take a look at the % lead that Mitten has . The media is not trying to ” FORCE ” Mitten on us . No , they , the media , is trying to turn us away from ever is leading . It started way back with Bachman , and they never let go .

    • awakenow

Sure, Newt really likes those 1,000+ page bills that he, and most everyone else on Capitol Hill, believe you have to “pass the bill, before you know what’s in it” … Nancy Pelosi line of insane reasoning.

Newt is a Big Government lover. He is a Globalist and he once wrote the forward to a book that said the Constitution is an old relic and not suited for the “21st Century America.”

The book is called: “The Third Wave” by Alvin Toffler.

Either Romney is patently stupid or cleverly giving Conservatives a “warning” that he’ll be a rogue president as is Obama. Fair warning to all who would even consider voting for him. I WILL NOT!

  • DrBillLemoine

It’s a joke–as if Romney could crack wise. In his dreams, they’re alike–not really. Obama an urban renewal Chicago community organizer; Romney an extreme liberal state governor. The prez, an up-from-the-middle-class self-made man; the gov, born with a silver spoon. Wealthy from the fruits of education on his smarts–Obama; superwealthy from future inheritance and ripping off weak companies and laborers–Romney. Striving for upward middle class mobility, relating to single parent families, working for women’s self-determination and freedoms, keeping health premiums low, opening education’s doors, creating jobs, saving auto companies, evening the playing field, lowering taxes, killing Bin Laden, honoring veterans, promoting roads/bridges work. Versus. . .dismantling businesses, laying off workers, disavowing liberal healthcare, terrorizing his pet, downplaying his language facility and travels, shielding his religion from view.

They do have healthcare in common and desire to serve the public, elected office and personal/family building. But their policies are decades or a century apart–not alike much at all, without squinting, spinning and twisting, and faking similarities where they don’t exist as the pretender does daily with his tiny cadre of supporters.

    • Johnnygard

Phd Bill, When I ask Obama supporters what part of the economy has improved since Obama took office, and what specific thing did Obama do to make it better, they almost always mention what a terrible mess he inherited from Bush, and/or say it would have been much worse without the stimulus. There is no evidence of that, and with more credibility, I can claim things would be much better if a Conservative had been elected. But BHO wasn’t elected to give excuses, he was supposed to fix things. Unemployment is UP!! Gas prices are UP 80%!! National debt is WAY UP!!! People living in poverty, UP 3 million!! Bankruptcies at 4 million!! Homes foreclosed, 2.4 million!! Health insurance premiums are UP OVER 12%!! Bush increased the National Debt at a rate of $1.6 billion per day; Obama has been doing it at a rate of $4.1 billion per day. Now don’t give me some phony claim about how bad it could have been, tell me what he has actually made BETTER!

    • Marlene

Actually, all this blame Bush BS is just that. Bushfell heir to an economy gained on the backs of the military because Willie and Hillary hate the military and down-sized it and its armory to build the economy up. When 9-11 happened, Bush had to spend to rebuild the military and repair and update the armory, which was very costly. He couldn’t even retaliate against the declaration of war on us until we had a stronger military, even though the Dems were screaming for us to attck Iraq. The Bush debt is merely what he got from the Clinton administration and Obama, if he had an ounce of intelligence and honesty, would and should be blaming Clinton. You’ll never hear a Democrat admitting that our econonomy is a result of Clinton trying to eliminate our protection from hostile countries. He did a good job didn’t he. In his own irresponsible way, he’s responsible for the deaths of 2600+ people who died in that attack on the World Trade Center. Let’s put the blame where it belongs, for once and sc–w Obama.

    • Wondering Woman

      Dr. Bill,

Considering that your “Prez, up from the middle class, self-made man” sealed all his past records, what are you basing that part of his description on???

Me thinks that if he would honest up with the information you would find that his college education was funded by the taxpayers of this
country, which he is now trying to repay them by destroying the capitalism that funded his education.

Do you really think that association as a Community organizer with ACORN group adds esteem or prestige to his resume???

Obviously he isn’t even a US citizen, much less qualified to be its President, or so much money wouldn’t have been spent sealing those records. Does being a fraudulent impostor, whose SSN couldn’t even pass E verify add or detract from his qualifications?

    • Johnnygard

Wonder Woman, As soon as someone challenges “Dr” Bill, he vanishes. He just hits and runs.

    • Brett

Let’s see, Obama = federal spending to the point of bankruptcy, high unemployment, higher health care costs (and that keep on going up), lack of promised transparency, demonizing job creators and killing job creation, appointing tons of “czars” to avoid Congress, etc., etc., etc. Logic dictates that a vote can’t be made for Obama in November.

  • walter

lets go for Newt. The endorsement by McCain for Romney says it clearly it is just one Progressive supporting another. And the election outcome will be the same as in 2008 if Romney wins the nomination.

  • rotor 700

If you all get out and vote Ron Paul we will be ok. There is no such thing as perfect, but at least Paul is not part of the status quo, and that is what is causing you all the misery. A friendly foreign policy will work, even with the aggressors. I am currently in a foreign country, and can tell you the world is not happy about America. I’m embarassed to admit where I’m from, even though it is obvious.

The real message is, if you hate the U.S. Constitution, and the bill of rights, then vote for someone like Romney or the other switcho chango goons, and you will continue to lose. “Big TIme”

  • Robert Wayne

Romney is another worthless RINO neocon, cut out of the same cloth as the Bushes and McCain. Maybe they’re not as bad as the left wing extremists like Obama, but they’re close. Personally, I’m voting for Paul. He’s not perfect, but he’s better than the rest of them and the fact that the media establishment hates him makes him more favorable in my book.

    • C.Davis

Mr Wayne, encouraging to see that some are “getting it”

    • Wondering Woman

My sentiments exactly. It doth my heart good to see that more people are beginning to think for themselves and analyze a lot of the bull that gets thrown in our direction.

Yea Rah “We the People” remember

    • Ray

We have to come together, not quibbling over this and that…we cannot split our votes, please Doc Paul is the only one in the running that will scare Obama. Do not write someone in, this is how we lost the last election. If you really want to be free, of Obummer and this Congress, we have to unite. Pick one and lets go for it. God bless America. Use this site to talk it out. Thank you friends of the USA.

    • Wondering Woman

Dadgumit! Just when I was praising people’s thinking for themselves, here you come with that crap “we can’t split the vote”.

We don’t want to split the vote, we just want a real American Patriot without new world order strings already attached to win. Dr.
Ron Paul happens to be a republican, but the new world order may be able to control enough of their puppets to prevent him being “allowed to win the republican nomination”.
If they do this, the only way we can elect our one chance at saving our Constitution and our Country by voting for Dr. Ron Paul is to write him in. If enough of us do this, it will not be splitting the vote, but an overwhelming landslide write-in election for the right candidate. Unfortunately we now have a corrupt federal government because we have fallen for their ping-pong game of batting the voters back and forth between the republican and democrats too long and also fallen for their claims that they are different. Take a good look at the Bushes, the Clintons and Gore and tell me which one of them wasn’t working for the new world order. The Bushes were republicans and the Clintons and Gore were democratss!

Time to give them notice that we are awake, watching and intend to keep closer watch in the future.

    • Johnnygard

You really are so naive that you think someone could be elected in a general election in this country by write-in votes. That is so far fetched I don’t know what to say.

    • cactusbob

That’s a huge IF, Woman, and history has shown that every write-in vote for President was a wasted vote. Will it make you feel better writing in a name (if he doesn’t get the nomination) and you help Obama get reelected? We know how badly Obama will hurt the nation if he is reelected. Only fools play Russian roulette with a semiautomatic.

    • Robert, TX

      Very well stated!

  • Restore the Constitution

American voters don’t have the guts or the knowledge to select strict constitutionalist candidates who would take the drastic action required to restore Jeffersonian Republicanism. 98% of you don’t even know what that means, and that is why America is now a socialist oligarchy headed full speed down the toilet.

Read the book “NULLIFICATION, How to Resist Federal Tyranny in the 21st Century” by Thomas E. Woods, Jr. Or, just keep on being ignorant and whining like a bunch of crybabies. We have already lost the only candidate who understood the pathway back to restoring the republic and would have put Fedzilla back in its cage. Bachman could not get enough financial support because Americans don’t appreciate strict constitutional thinkers. Santorum is still in the race, and would be next best. Newt would be 3rd best, but who knows when he would flip flop. Ron Paul would do a good job of putting the feds in their place, but he is an idiot about Islam, the use of our military and has dangerously delusional view on foreign policy. If whoever is elected, including the Congress does not reverse everything Obama has done, plus every federal states rights violation for the past 125 years, the next Democrat/revisionist President will finish the job of destroying our country.

  • Texas Pat

To you Paulbots: I think our governor is great. I wanted him to be the Republican candidate for president, BUT, he has gone down because of his lack of powerful debate capabilities plus bad choice statements on some issues. I am convinced he would have made a good president, but that’s not to be. I still think he’s great, but I want the nominee to be someone who will defeat Obama. If Ron Paul turned out to be the nominee, I would do everything I could to get him elected, BUT it AIN’T GONNA HAPPEN! Why can’t you people do the same for America and back whoever is up against Obama?????? Your write-in votes are useless. They only show your ill-will,stubbornness,and disregard for our country.

    • Johnnygard

Well said Texas Pat, but not to worry. I suspect 90% of those that say they will go third party, voted for Obama in 2008. So BHO will be losing 1/2 a vote for each one of them. We won’t be losing a vote from 2008.

    • Wondering Woman

      Texaspat and Johnnygard,

This part of “We the People” definitely did not vote for Obama. I voted for McCain, but got my rude awakening that during this administration that McCain has to be a new world order puppet also. Therefore he was the designated loser in that election. Learned my lesson by watching closely since Obama was inaugurated – not just Obama but our legal citizen congressional members.

Voting your way is most likely going to get us more of the same we now have, because we are still playing the game by their rules and letting them win. THEM, being the new world
order. Thank you, but we’ve had too much of them already and it is time we take a stand and quit playing by their rules. WE DON’T

    • Robert, TX

Only a completely clueless (and typically, government check receiving) RINO would think (which they rarely do) that the Constitution-loving patriots would have voted for Obama! Get this: if we cannot stomach the McCains, Romneys, Boehners or McConnells – how on earth do you think we can stomach Obama, Reid or Pelosi. We were the first to get on board the “stop the out of control government express” and we are up in first class, by the time you board it will be standing room only!

    • Ann Wilson Kingsley

Nope! Our country cannot survive 8 years of a Republican Obama. With a Republican House and Senate there will be no curbs on a New World Order Republican Obama. Bush was a New World Order Socialist candidate. Bush was worse than Obama. We got “No Child Left Behind”, the Medicare Prescriptions Drug Plan, a Police State, and a war in Iraq over nuclear weapons that were not there. We cannot afford a Republican Obama. Vote for a Republican House and Senate to curb Obama. Then cast a principled vote for a Conservative. Vote for Ron Paul!

    • Robert, TX

Excellent post, Ann!!! If you remember the 2000 campaign, Bush was going to burn down Washington and “make government smaller” which were ALL lies. Well, consider this, not one single republican candidate (other than Ron Paul) is even being as bold as W. That ought to scare everyone. Not one of these RINO candidates are going to cut spending by $1. Ron Paul is the ONLY choice for patriots.

    • C.Davis

Well, in light of the resolve with which those of us who support Dr.Paul are determined to adhere to our principles perhaps the illumined approach to ensuring our commitment to ousting the Kenyan is accomplished would be to get behind the people’s choice, Ron Paul, rather than this season’s McCain, whom, if nominated by the GOP will force us to write in our president, rather than throwing away our vote on the white Obamney.

  • Clyde

I have news for all you folks that are going to or want to vote for Ron Paul. I have no problem with him personally but just remember one thing – 1 vote for Ron Paul is 2 votes for Obama and guarantees that Obama will get 4 more years. I that what you really want?????

  • Quiltlady

I don’t have anything personally against Mitt Romney, but he is CLEARLY not the brightest bunny in the hutch. We need someone far more intelligent and experienced to lead us out of the despair we’re in. Newt Gingrich is the man who can do this!!! I support Newt ALL THE WAY!!!!

    • Ann Wilson Kingsley

Newt Gingrich is a Neo-Conservative Globalist New World Order Progressive whose life-style is a disgrace. Presidents of our country influence the moral character of the American people, as well as citizens of other countries. We need to elect a president who is a good example. Endorsing or voting for Gingrich is utter hypocrisy. It is no wonder people are gravitating away from our churches when faith-based people are willing to elect a leader who is such a poor example. The people who make this type of endorsement need to consider the type of witnesses they are making for Christ. Most people with Newt’s lack of moral character would not have considered themselves an appropriate example for the American people to follow, but Newt is a Narcissist who has poor ability at self-evaluation.

Vote for Ron Paul! Yes, there are Evangelicals for Ron Paul! We do our research! Why don’t you do yours?

    • Wondering Woman

I do hope you are more successful at quilting
than you are at picking honest politicians, with a history of standing up for what they believe in. Newt was and is a flip-flopper
      by past record.

  • Magnum

At this stage, it appears that Romney is a de facto “white Obama”. When it comes down to pure Conservative values, Paul, Palin and Bachmann out the rest of the field to shame. It’s unfortunate that the Old Guard in the GOP don’t have the cajones to support a true true conservative, if any of them even know what that is a anymore.

    • Dwight Hill

Try to learn the truth , rather than believing what a pill popper is trying to tell you .

    • Marlene

Oh please! Get off your ‘pill-popping’ rant, Dwight. It’s getting very stale.

  • julie Metzler

Ron Paul scares me with his foreign policy.

    • Dwight Hill

What policy about foreign relations ? Other than putting on blinders , he doesn’t have one policy on anything . Trade with the world , not Paul . Close every base that’s not on the 48 States , and fire at least 1 million troops . Sure , that will save us a bundle , but , what about defense ? And what about a smaller government ? He never did say what he will layoff or whatever offices he would close . All he is doing is telling you what you want to hear .

    • Chuck

Exactly what is it about Ron Paul’s foreign policy that scares you? If you claim that it’s because of his “isolationist” foreign policy, you don’t know the difference between being an “isolationist” and a “non-interventionist.”

  • Barbara Simpson listener

Idiot Bump romney is just like Dumbo Obummer to say the least. They are both pro abortion & homofacist marxist socialist healthcare dictated by the damned gov t.They are both BIGGGGGGGGGG Gov t advocates. Why aren t both idiot liberals in the same party?Bump is a RINO as was Father Geritol McCain and The Waffler Dole in 1996

    • Dwight Hill

Yak , yak , yak . That’s what people say when they don’t know the truth .

  • tod

Dr. Ron Paul 2012 for the ONLY PROVEN HONEST (for Well Over 30 Years)PATRIOT running for President,PERIOD !!!

    • Dwight Hill

Honest ? That only what question you ask him .

  • Bill

Glad to see Mitt putting the nails in his own coffin. He is not a conservative. Just because you have some conservative beliefs that does not make you a conservative. Romney may be a social conservative, but he is a fiscal moderate bordering on liberal. He is not what we need at this point in time. I would rather have a candidate that was a social liberal and fiscal conservative than vice versa.

  • Boanerges

All are the same except RON PAUL!!! come on folks a true fiscal conservative. Never voted for any tax increase. Small governement, protect our borders, stop foreign aid. Take care of us for a real change.

    • Dwight Hill

” He never voted to raise taxes ” ? You better take a check on your facts , fella . In 30 + years on the Senate , do you really put ” term times ” on the vote ? Did he ever say that he would repeal ” Obama Care ” ? No . And he’s not a GOP . Rather , he is a Liberation .

  • LEL

Sometime you just can’t run the whole 100 yards all in one play. No matter who gets the nomination, they’ll only be able to begin repairing the damage caused by national disaster obama. And only if both Congress and Senate are moved RIGHT.

  • Tom

I think we all need to be very careful about who we vote for in November. This country won’t hold up another 4 years under the kind of leadership we have this time. All the nominees we have to pick from this time around have some shady things going on, none of thems hands are totally clean. While Ron Paul is the best in the bunch, in my opinion…he has some dangerous ideas about foreign policy. I personally wish we had someone like ALAN WEST or JOE ARPEIO in there to run for PRESIDENT…. I still hope for a better choice before the primary ends, if not, I’ll have some long, hard thinking to do about who I will vote for….I refuse to put another “maybe” in the White House….

    • cactusbob

I’d think a MAYBE would be a better choice than a certain HELL NO!

  • Dwight Hill

And this is why Hussein won the last election , by divisions and conquer . Why do you people even listen like a pill popper Rush for anyways ? He would lie to his own mother if there were enough pills in front of him , ( probably not more than two ) . As usually , The Big Pill Popper didn’t tell you the whole truth . But feed you more lies , and that’s your ” Media ” at your service .

  • Johnnygard

Your language proves who’s the mororn.

    • http://patriotnews salvatore suppa

hey johnnygard… language is not the issue..the POINT i am making is….the bottom line is this: the “conservative candidates are horrible and are NOT ELECTABLE…PERIOD..romney is by far the best CANDIDATE in the field…what is so difficult for you people to understand…the goal of a primary is to elect the mostELECTABLE person so that person can WIN the general election….we do not want to elect the most conservative candidate who is NOT the best general election candidate because we will LOSE…GET IT….all you conservative zombies need to wake up and realize this…or just form a separate third party…….did i go slow enough and was my language clean and nice enough for you JOHNNY

    • salvatore suppa

1 more point…. did all you proud tea party conservatives back in 2010 think in your wildest dreams that the person that was going to challenge obama was RICK SANTORUM or NEWT GINGRICH…..what a sad sad thing for conservatives…2 CLOWNS

The office of the president is already bought and paid for ,they just havent told us who it is yet. Our voting is just a formallity just to make us feel important. The unions, the Mafia and big business have taken over this country and now its just a matter of time.

    • http://None Nancy

It’s the Communist like Soros that have taken over the country. And it’s people like the Congress that has let them!!

Save America, “Pray”. Bible says that God raises up leaders and brings them down for His purposes. In the OT when the Jewish people followed God they were successful in every endeavor. When they committed “Adultery” with other god’s, God punished the Jew’s. The U.S. has turned away from God. So what can U expect? But, 2 Chronicles says that if we humble ourselves, pray, seek God, and turn from our wicked ways God said He would heal our land. Seems like we get to control our own destiny.

    • art

Well BUD..why don’t you tell us exactly what it is that you are doing to “save our country” ..?? You criticize John like you are some holy person so why don’t you just tell us all what it is that you are doing to save us or are you just talking sh!t out of your azz..???

    • Emmentaler Limburger

I’m with Bud. What am I doing? being active in my community, pointing out what is wrong with the current administration, and NOT trying to make people believe that there is no point in voting – that’s the key failure in John’s message and others like it. These comments are designed to deflate you into believing that the election is a foregone conclusion and you shouldn’t waste your time voting – which will ensure that we again get what we have.

So, Art, what are YOU going to do? Incite people to give up, like John, or incite people to keep on trying, like Bud? What’s YOUR choice?

    • Evan

      Art, you’ve an arsehole.

    • smart and conservative

      100% TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • cj

I think you’re right about that John, so the best thing we can do it NOT let Romney in. I to believe he is bought and paid for, so if we get someone else, that doesn’t have all the big money behind them we just might beat Mr. O. It is pretty obvious to me that Romney is the one that the big powers have picked. Let’s just get one of the underdog candidates in there and see what happens. I like Newt personally. I think he could debate with the President and win. Any of the candidates could be good, but Newt I think knows the ropes.

Looks like we (excuse me) they are determined to give ocommie another 4 years of dictatorship. Romney is a dimwirocrap in republican clothing, paul, altho certainly a true American is also a radical, Perry is a champion of the ilegal mexican invasion, Newt is spending more time slamming his rival republicans than he is the ocommie dictatorship. None of them explain how they are going to pull us back from the destruction we are heading for. I’m about ready to agree with the idiot media in that we don’t have anyone showing what they can do for Americans. I’m sick of the GOP so what’s left but going independent conservitive?

    • http://google james

I’m a GOP but I’m sick of them too. they won”t come forward and start impeachment on illegal pres. Some own 10-15 homes, while many americans(taxpayers) may not even have a roof over their head. And they all LIE, (with maybe a few exceptions). I will have to vote GOP because of the two evils, I would rather have a GOP.

    • Faithful to US Constitution

If someone votes “the LESSER of two EVILS, they are still voting for A EVIL”.

Do NOT vote for what you do NOT truly support. That’s how our country got so screwed up thus far. 1st, identify the corruption wherever it is found. 2nd, repeal/nullify/impeach/imprison corruption that is uncovered.

The elections are a joke at this point in American History. What’s worse is the ignorant members of population that are willfully blind to the tactics being used against them/us. We can’t stop corruption when we ignore corruption at the base level of elections!

Presidents are found to break the law and commiting acts of corruption. Legislative branch can impeach, but don’t. Judicial branch can bring legal charges, but doesn’t.

Legislators are found to commit corrupt acts and break their oaths of public service. Their home supporters can recall them but don’t. The Judicial system & law enforcement & regulators can file charges and/or arrest them, but don’t.

Judges, Police and all sort of public service positions have been found commiting crimes and acts of corruption, so few of the percentage of them are even investigated.

The problem can be summed up in 1 word, “Corruption”. Yes, there is corruption in the election process. And yes, the level of corruption amidst these close election races is enough to change the outcomes!

Yet, “We the People”, and our failure to act within the sytem of checks & balances we established to eliminate corruption, are what permits corruption to continue… (so much more should be said AND DONE dot-dot-dot)

    • Digger Don

James just what good do thinl impeaching Obama will do? Slick Willis was impeached, but impeachment did not get him out of office. Do think it will get Obummer out? Hell no it won’t

    • Dorothy Heath

Digger Don, I think we HAVE to get obummer out before election time, because he is poised and ready to commit fraud to win thru Acorn and the rest of its affilitates. He has committed so much fraud in this Admin. He needs to go to jail for years! If We jack up our CONGRESSMEN they better call for impeachment or they will be out the door too!!.We, the people have to insist on it!! No more procastinating by congress this year!!It’s down to the nitty gritty and there is no time to waste!!!!!Im’sure not going to sit around and let them commit suicide to America.People CALL or email your Reps. and John Boehner constantly till we get some action!!!

    • JustAmused

madog2; you are a genius! Ron Paul is the ONLY “republican” candidate that has read and UNDERSTOOD the Constitution, so that’s what makes him a radical! You go ahead and vote for obama-lite, also spelled ROMNEY! In 2013 I’ll wonder about you and yours when I and mine are away from this. Maybe we could change the name from USA to New France!

    • Ron

I agree that Ron Paul is very well versed on the constitution, which is really good. There aren’t very many of Americans that are. My problem with Paul is some of his far out ideas. My Dad taught me that you fight the enemy in his back yard not ours. We need troops stationed overseas. We need to be close to the action when it starts. What we don’t need to do is be the the worlds peacekeepers.

    • Sarah

Ron Paul DID seem like a great conservative to vote for UNTIL, during a debate, he stated he wanted to dismantle the military, get out of all Muslim countries, legalize “social drugs”. He does not believe that Iran has any nukes because he says, “we dont have any proof”. That is what made him the “nutjob”! We cant be a super-power without a strong military presence wherever needed.

    • Gman

The point Ron Paul made about the military is absolutely correct. We don’t need them stationed in 900+ overseas bases. I believe he understands the need for strategic placement of our troops in places overseas where they would do the most good. He’s not niaeve.
Also, the “War On Drugs” is an abject failure and a total waste of money. Paul believes in treating these people who misuse drugs instead of making them career criminals in our prison system. Prohibition of alcohol didn’t work when they tried it so why do you think prohibition of drugs is any different? Treat those who abuse drugs like you would an alcoholic and decriminilization of drugs would certainly reduce the crime rate and prison populations.
I know a lot of people don’t agree with this but it certainly makes more sense that what we’re currently doing.

    • http://PatriotPost Scott

People may think Ron Paul is a radical, but what was it that founded this great country, talking and begging for freedom? Ron Paul is the only one with enough courage to take forward the message of true radical change in getting back to Constitutional rule, and all the libtards, GOP and Demoncrats being the same, will do nothing to bring this country back to the people. No one president will ever get his way all the time, but at least Ron Pauls beliefs are true to what this country was founded upon.

    • old Navy

      None of us want Obama.

Can we at least agree on that!!??

    • Don Davis

Agreed, ABO, Anybody But Obama. I have an old rotting lamp post in back yard that would do far better, but the GOP leadership is so far off track. They force McCain (Mr. Progressive on steroids) on us last time around and now Mitt (a self admitted Obama clone). What are they thinking?

    • Bill

Don’t believe many of us want a Socialist or Dictatorship for our government. Look at what is presently happening to our constitution under the present Administration and some of our elected officials!!!

    • Mona Callender

I agree its been that way since AFTER the first president……money always gets in the way…..they all sell their souls

    • awakenow

Mona … not Ron Paul. The lobbyists don’t come knocking on his door and the GOP leadership doesn’t either, especially when it’s time for them to spend the money we don’t have.

    • Dorothy Heath

Mona I agree money and POWER are the culprits!Obama seems to be driven by power .You can tell by his arrogance to the American peoples and congresses wishes! He acts like he is the great I AM .There is only one of those aand that is our Lord!

    • rocky

Wow what a great attitude. Should we walk off the edge of a cliff as well. I mean our society is being ruined, should we just give up? I don’t think so. I don’t buy that. I still have prayer and hope in the American people. Especially the Christains that believe in freedom, small government, and personal accountability. The people that believe God sent us here to be an example to the world of what a free Republic is and what it can do when you don’t have a bunch of free loaders weighing it down.

    • Trent Marsh

Folks, there is only one way that I see to defeat “0”. The Obamites must awaken to the FACT that THEIR “benefits and goodies” will come to an abrupt end IF “0” is re-elected.
      WHY, you ask?
Because when the economy finally collapses (and it definitely will soon), there are not enough working stiffs to provide the revenue for the government,(or “0”) to hand-out to their voting block.
If Black people alone – who voted overwhelming for “0” in 2008 – realize “he” is selling them out to illegal immigrants because he has to provide the new “voters” with ‘bennies’ too, maybe, just maybe, they would vote otherwise for ‘self-preservation.
Nothing else this Marxist, liar, and fraud has done seems to make any difference to Black voters and the socialist liberals are communist anyway so they won’t be swayed.

    • Faithful to US Constitution

Keep in mind you are talking about people that for the most part do not undertand the basics of economy, much less the simplicity of the US Constitution being LIMITATIONs on Government. They think “money” is created by a printing press with nothing backing it. They think “government” has everything they need and can vote for it to be give to them with nothing expected of them but to vote for who will give them the goodies.

    • smart and conservative

I wish I could disagree with you, John, but you just may be right. If so, really a sad state of affairs we have allowed ourselves to get in.

    • http://ThePatiotUpdate Marilyn Smith

Well, you get up off your butt and go vote for the Republican puppet ANYWAY. You just might be wrong and your vote just might COUNT for the bettering of the unacceptable situation we have in this country today, John.

    • Wanda Chambers

Excuse you, the union has done more for the working class of people than any other organization. My husband and I are PROUD UNITED MINE WORKERS OF AMERICA. What kind of medical insurance do you have or does the state pay for your medical or are you un-insured? What other income do you have to look forward to when you get old? My husband gets a UMWA medical card after working 28 years underground in a coal mines and full, yes that’s what I said FULL 100% medical coverage for him, our child, and I and lets not forget that not only does he get his social security but also his miners pension. I will also get this pension and medical coverage if he should unfortunely pass before me. But I guess some guys don’t really think about what will happen to their family after they are dead and buried.

UMWA Distruct 17 Member from Delbarton, West Virginia

    • Gman

Wanda, I agree that unions have a place in the public sector. They have done a lot of good in the past for people who work for a living. I have to part company though with the idea of unions in the public sector. In states like CA they work with the politicians to gain very generous benefits and pensions at the expense of the taxpayer. This is in part why CA is in the red so far. With the public unions donating millions to their politician of choice who will vote for their benefits plan taxpayers have little voice in the matter. Sort of like two wolves and a sheep deciding what to have for dinner.

    • Gman

Correction: I meant that the unions have a place in the private sector.

    • MrC

There is no question the unions started to provide all the things you have and it was good. The unions wanted more control so they started to spend more and more of your dues to buy political favors so that the unions controled our goverment. That is not good for our country. Greed and coruption are not good. Can you understand that?

    • http://None Sandy

You are so right John. We individuals no longer have a voice in america.

Has anyone watched the interview of working American citizens whose rug were pulled from under their feets by the Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney???

After watching the personal attacks amongst Presidential Candidates; I’ve made my decision to go with Ron Paul. He talks about saving the sovereignty of the United States of America and its U.S. Constitution, while the others criticize each other.

      USAF (RET)

  • Arfisher

Rush out to destroy Romney but I haven’t figured out why.

    • Jeff

Yeah because if it all came out what Romney said following that was there was a big difference. Obama did it on the back of the Tax payers and gave the company to the Unions where if he did it they would go through the bankruptcy courts and the private sector and investors would have bailed it out and restructured it to be more competitive.

Wow Romney is clearly to the right of John McCain, clearly more financially conservative than Santorum or Gingrich but socially equal to Gingrich and slightly to the left of Santorum. I dont care that he changed his mind on abortion I did the same thing later in life as I become more aware. So what is wrong with that. ON the second amendment issues in MA. the gun bill he signed was supported by the NRA because while it did increase some paperwork requirements it eased up on other requirements for all citizens of MA to own them. The NRA certainly would not have let him speak at last years annual meeting if their were any concerns on their part.

    • Faithful to US Constitution

Contrary to popular belief, the NRA is not always the representative of the Constitutional -2nd Amndmnt advocate. I nearly choke in laughter everytime someone simply invokes an NRA position to claim it lays a concern to rest. “…shall not be infringed” [PERIOD] is self explanitory. No law passed regarding Arms is valid. They are all nullified and invalid on their face unless we repeal or change the wording of the 2nd Amndmnt of the BoR. If the NRA represented the protection of our right to arms and supported the succinct simple defined wording of the US Constitution, it would oppose any and all laws that infringe upon our Right. Government is Limited, not the citizens. Our Country preserves the Rights of the individual and Limits the power of Government.

Can we pass laws saying murder is legal? Of course we can, but it will still be wrong. Can we pass a law saying it is illegal to posses a Bible or other religeous book? Of course we can, but it will still be wrongful done! Can we pass laws restricting gun ownership or carrying open or conceiled? Of course we can, but it will still be invalid!

    • Gman

Absolutely right. The first five words preceeding the Bill of Rights is (Amendment I) “Congress Shall Make No Law…”. I believe it is implied throughout the remaining 26 amendments.
The bottom line is that the BOR limits and restricts the government from actions it might take against its citizens and affirms the natural rights we have from our creator.

    • Skipster

You seriously don’t know why Rush would want to bring down Obama lite?

    • Righton63

No I don’t know why Rush would like to bring down Obama light. Could you inform us??????

    • Doug Rodrigues

Surely you jest by asking that question? Romney is the “establishment’s” choice for the Republicans. He’s a Socialist with a smiley face.

    • JH Brown

Hi Doug: I am sure you are an Obama supporter, either Black or Mexican, so you wouldn’t express a good opinion of a Republican even if he did put Americans back to work where they could earn a good living and support their family again. Many of the minorities prefer to get free handouts paid for by Americans that work for a living. Shame on those people who enjoy life at the
      expense of another.

    • America first

JH Brown why do you have to bring up race. An American is an American no matter the race and he was right. BTW I am a 58 year old white American and I know there are all races that beleive in our country and want a change back to the constitution and Romney is not going to give us what the country needs.

    • BUD

  • jb80538

Then we need to make sure that Romney is NOT on the ballot in Nov.

    • Oregon Bill

If Romney is not on the ballot, then who do you propose could actually defeat Obama, get serious, that has to be the primary objective, no other candidate could actually pull it off, sadly.

  • dee

Jeff is correct in what he says. People don’t look at the full picture of why Romney has done what he has done. When you know all the facts you have to agree with him. He knows how to get the right thing done and he can do the best job of anyone running to get the country turned economically. It might not be painless for all, but what he will do will work. And he will do it maintaining appropriate stands on social issues as well.

  • cleareyes

These men do not think like the average joe.
I think they all live in the land of OZ. And drink from the same fountain, mental illness called liberalism.

  • Jema

This is why I’m voting for Ron Paul. He’s the only one in the Republican record that doesn’t have to excuse away or apologize for his actions for the past 30 years. Honest, steady, a real alternative to the fake, warmongering, take your civil liberties away Obama. Ron Paul is the only one who can beat Obama because he offers a clear alternative. Mitt Romney is just a white, rich version of Obama.

    • Martin Ridens

Besides, the Obama machine would destroy Romney in their TV ad onslaught. Can you hear it yet, “Occupy the Election and keep America from the 1%”. Donna Brazile is almost drooling she wants him so bad. She’s the vice-chair at the DNC for getting out the vote.

    • Michael

      Appears that way!
We need Congressman Dr. Ron Paul.

    • tncdel

As Secretary of the Treasury with power over the Federal Reserve. But NOT in the White House. No one as lousy as Ron Paul is on Islam and DOMESTIC national defense deserves to be president. See:

    • Lomax

Ron Paul has some good ideas economically but is a total dunce when it comes to foreign policy. The President must be able to comprehend both, therefore Ron Paul is not fit to be President and should be discareded as a Presidential candidate.

    • awakenow

Lomax, so tell us why Ron Paul is a dunce regarding his foreign policy … a foreign policy that is outlined in the Constitution as written by the Founders?

The policy that underscored the wisdom of using our military to protect and defend our own borders and shores, instead of acting as policemen of the world, especially in the Middle East?

Also, Ron Paul’s belief in the foreign policy laid out by the Constitution that says, in order to go to war, a formal vote must be taken by Congress and then a formal declaration of war must be written?

And a policy that once a formal war declaration has been declared, to actually fight to win it, end it, and bring the troops back home?

Yes, that “dunce” Constitutional foreign policy, that Ron Paul believes in, certainly is stupid.

    • Faithful to US Constitution

Congressman Ron Paul’s “foreign policy” is simply to adhere the rule of law established in the US Constitution. So if you oppose his foreign policy, then you oppose our governments limitations of our highest law! Please listen to what candidates have and do say, NOT what the slander “claims” his position. If you go to govtrack and spend the hours reading the record of a candidate, it will reveal so much more than talk radio & TV ads ever will and at least you know it as true record instead of hearsay.

    • http://----------------------------------------------- dene

Ron Paul is ot a republican. Why is he in
the debates? A libertarian does not believe
in Medicare or social security or medicaid
or a military force to protect national
secutriy. How much less money would be in
our market without this. How many people
would die. Have you thought of this???

    • ald

Another “USEFULL IDIOT” who does’nt HAVE A CLUE!

    • dukeitout

Read the republican platform, read the constitution and think, then maybe the light of truth will show you why you are wrong about Ron Paul and Gary Johnson.
Do you really beleive that a government run and controlled retirement scheme (social security) is actually a good program and is adequate to enable anyone to retire without even more government subsistence to keep them from starving.

Do you really beleive that medicare/medicaid/ prescrition drug plans are constitutional or is better than one proovided by private enterprise. Do you believe that any or all of the government programs are “free” and not unconstitutionally mandated by the congress.

    • awakenow

dukeitout … yes, there are still so many who “think” the Republicans stand in defense of the Constitution but, in reality, their votes say otherwise.

Votes like the NDAA, National Defense Authorization Act, that gives Obama (and all future presidents) the authority to call any American citizen an enemy of the state, arrest you and hold you indefinitely WITHOUT the right to a trial. We are now presumed to be guilty and there is NO requirement to prove otherwise. Habeas Corpusm, due process and the 4th Amendment is dead.

The “Republicans” in Congress overwhelmingly voted for this tyranny … including Rep. Allan West, Bachmann, and the “alleged” GOP rising star in the Senate … Marco Rubio.

The same “rising star” whose parents were both CUBAN-born, not “natural born” here in this country. They were still citizens of Cuban when when Rubio was born in Miami in 1971. Thus, giving Rubio dual citizenship … Cuban and U.S.

The Constitution says clearly that parents must be “Natural Born” but just like that didn’t stop Constitution haters on the Left, it also won’t stop the Constitution haters on the Right, either.

Ron Paul has always stood, steadfast, in defense of our Constitution and our individual freedoms … individual freedoms we are rapidly losing to a totalitarian federal government.

Ron Paul supports “GAY MARRIAGE”–not a conservative platform!!!! Santorum or Gingrich is our only choices….

    • haasstrep68

I think Ron Paul is better than Romeny. We’re seeing the real Romney, now, which is not much different than the dictator in our White House, “queen” Obumer. We need to keep Romney from being nominated as he GOP presidential nomination. No wonder the DemonRats and “queen” Obumer wants to run against Romney. See website:

    • madog2

The only problem with going with Paul is that he doesn’t have a cut dogs chance of beating marxist Kenyon.

    • Energene

Romney is still a rino, has Romney care and waffles. Gingrich would be better. While he is kind of a rino he debates better and has a real track record of passing conservative agenda past worthless Democrats. Paul is the best choice and he is electable, but he can’t pass legislation well and he gives nuke Iran a free pass. Santorum has no money, cannot debate and too little support.

    • dukeitout

They also tried to convince the voters that Ronald Reagan had no chance to beat the republican establishment or Jimmy Carter and the socailist democrats.
Not Only can Ron Paul win, Ron Paul must win, and the republican, independent, and non socialist/communist voters must make it happen, if America is to survive.
The republican establishment , the leadership in the republican congress are no different than Obama or the majority of the democrat party. Both parties have been under the control of anti American groups for decades. All one has to do is look at the damage the republicans in congres have done to America and how they have just allowed but in most cases have sponsored and supported every bad piece of legislation and unconstitutional act of Obama and the democrat communists.
We need amd must elect a staunce, dedicated Constituionalist as president, and Ron Paul is the only one among the republican candidates. He is also the only real authenticated economist among them. Romney speaks of being a business savy entrepeneur, but he is not an economist and knows little or nothing about the science of economics, and the other candidates are mostly lawyers, or professional politicians who have lived most of their lives off of tax payer money, and bribes from the various cartels that lobby them to pass bad bills and boondoggles. They are nothing more than parasites and corrupt political hacks.

    • awakenow

You are exactly correct, dukeitout. Ron Paul is the only TRUE defender of our Constitution and the wise, divinely-inspired, words written in it.

    • awakenow

madog2 … oh yes, he does. People are sick and tired of BOTH parties and they are looking, hungry, for something new. Something that challenges the status quo.

People are finally starting to understand that what we have is a two party system in name only. That what we really have is a one party system that LOVES Big Government, Big Spending and its control over We The People.

Dont you wonder about his lack of concern for a purer life in this country? He wants to allow homosexual activity full bore (to keep the peace) His moral out look is very dim, he is seeking VOTES Jema. He does have some good points like the rest, but dont throw the country down a sink hole for those few things.

    • Oregon Bill

Get off the Paul train, he could not get 15% of the Republican vote, he’d be guaranteed failure, just because of his far left foreign policy, his supporters need to put down the bong and do some critical thinking, Obama would beat him in a veritable landslide, he’d not even have a chance in Texas.

    • awakenow

Oregon Bill … Ron Paul is polling better and better with the all important Independent vote. In fact, he is now ahead of Romney with them.

Ron Paul is also stripping away the Dem vote for Obombya … who lied to them when he promised he would end the wars and bring the troops home.

He hasn’t and he won’t. Many of the Iraq troops have been redeployed to Afghanistan.

None of the GOP candidates, other than Paul, will get any Dem votes. And, the blue collar Independents won’t like Romney’s Bain Capitol, job destroying, Wall Street Big Bank coziness either.

The Dems will crucify Romney over this.

Can I borrow your crystal ball? That’s the stupidest thing I ever heard and it is a regurgitated statement you are repeating. Paul polls gangbusters over Obama with a higher margin than any other challenging candidate! Read the polls at the sources, not the talking point statements made by the undocumented commentary media found to be false more often than accurate.

I’ve been the subject of news stories, I’ve been the first responder, I’ve been the good sam witness and in every occassion, the news story was extremely inaccurate enough to tell a ficticious story. Congradulations on buying fiction.

  • ThomD

Ron Paul does have a number of good economic ideas along with reducing the size of our out-of-control Fed.
I absolutely like his love of our Constitution, but the areas I take issue with, and they are many are the social issues.
His foreign policy scares me, especially his total disregard of the world climate in which we live.
Muslim countries who hate America and Israel, like Iran and others, would still kill Americans if he implemented isolationist programs.
I disagree with his position on drugs, abortion, homosexuality, as well as others.

He’s a libertarian and before voting for him our citizens need to look at the Libertarian Parties agenda and the planks they hold dear to them.
Ron Paul could never in his wildest dreams ever defeat Obama.

  • tess

Ron Paul, will leave this republic defenseless. Whether we like it or not, we must have allies and a foreign policy and a military.I do not think we need drugs legalized, no Doctors agree with that issue.

    • Doug Rodrigues

So what exactly don’t you understand that Obama is doing exactly that…slowly leaving us defenseless. When the bankruptcy is finally recognized, this country won’t have a military. All they’ll be is Obama’s Civilian Security Force, “equipped and manned equally as our military is now.” Perhaps that’s the reason why Obama’s Janet Napolitano is putting feelers for contract bids for FEMA detention camps in all 50 States? Think about that one. The 5th column in Big Government is directed by the President.

You are obviously infected by the virus, called main stream Media disinformation. However you are in luck, as there is a cure for that disease, it is called the “truth” and is readily availabe if you still retain the ability of free thought. Ron Paul is not and has never been anti military. He is in fact a lifetime supporter of a strong and superior military to DEFEND America. He is against using our military to wage and fight undeclared wars and using them as pawns everywhere in the world where there is someone who disagrees with the American Peesident. He is also against the president and the congress intentions to use the military as policemen here in the United States to control the American citizens, which is what Adolph Hitler, Mussolini, and Stalin did not that many decades ago.

    • dukeitout

Tess, You are wrong, most doctors agree that legalizing drugs will not result in more drug useage. You have been convincedof the lie by the government that the war on drugs hae reduced drug useage, when in fact every legitimate non government study has proved the government has and is lying, and that drug useage has increased proportionatel to every restrictive piece of legislation passed since the creation of the DEA. Use some logic, what happened when they made alcohol illegal, it created more crime and more people drank. And what right does the government have to tell anyone what they can drink, smoke, snort or use any way they choose. Drugs such as cocaine, heroin, marijuana, were legal in this country sine our founding, until the politicians decided it was something they could use to expand their base of power. And surprise, they got lots and lots more power.

    • willie

GOOD Points Tess. They need to be emphasized

    • awakenow

Tess … oh please. Can you please just stop with totally absurd and ridiculous statements like “Ron Paul will leave this Republic totally defenseless”???

I mean, what do you think he’s going to do? Totally dissolve the military and stop ALL funding on defense?

Please, get a grip with reality. President Paul would return out troops to protect and defend THIS COUNTRY, instead of protecting the poppy/opium fields of Afghanistan.

Under President Ronald E. Paul … our defense budget would still be FIVE times the budget of any other country … including Communist China who spends the most next to the U.S.

And, why do we need some 900 bases in some 120 countries? Where our troops are using their money to help out the economies of Germany and Japan, instead of our own?

And, have you not noticed that we are going broke? That we are approaching 16 TRILLION in debt and that our Debt to GDP ratio just went to 100%? 100%!

As a veteran who volunteered to go to Vietnam and who served five years there, Ron Paul respects and honors his fellow veterans. He WILL NOT reduce even one penny in benefits or pay to them.

He has their support. His campaign continues to receive more than all the other campaigns put together from U.S. military personnel.

How many people do you know who are NOT on one drug or another?

I don’t take any drugs and I won’t even if MJ is legalized. Paul only says the fed doesn’t have any right to over throw a STATE’s statute on drugs, not to make them legal by fed action.

Besides, hemp has the same benefits as oil. So why go to war over oil when we have the answer here.

I don’t beleive Faux news attacks on Ron Paul is meant to help the other GOP candidates but, to help Obama’s re-election. Faux will ultimately try and destroy whom ever the GOP candidate turns out to be, and just as they did the last time (2008)they will do whatever it takes to get Obama re-elected.

ROSEBUD … Romney is Obama all over again.

Romney and Obama are both Progressives, with a love of all things GOVERNMENT. Romney will NOTHING to address the real problems which are a private banking system called the Federal Reserve that prints money out of thin air. The Fed allows the federal government to spend this phony Monopoly Money, backed by no commodity like gold/silver, which runs up the debt on the Welfare and Warfare state we have become … year after year.

Our unfunded liabilities and obligations on Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid, back in 2008, were already at 100 TRILLION. This is according to the one, quasi-good guy member of the Fed board, Richard Fisher of the Dallas Fed, who wrote a warning letter about Congress and their insane deficit spending … year after year.

And, we all know that the debt ceiling has been increased and will be again, shortly … another 1.2 TRILLION.

Why? Because very few in D.C. have the courage or really want to do what is necessary … start taking an ax to themselves and the bloated, massive, government THEY have created.

Romney won’t either because he is believer in the Fed and in Big Government.

      Ron Paul is not.

    • Faithful to US Constitution

“Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.”

Do you realize the candidates are not split on party lines? There is no GOP verse DEM contest. But there most definitely IS a social advertising campaign to understand the populace and nullify their concerns & complaints by switching off between 2 Evils.

Political Insiders want the status quo and will front candidates that will maintain that status quo. Have you already forgotten about Bush’s agendas that Obama was going to correct because of public complaint? Did he? Nope. But he knows when to try to take credit. He tried to keep our troops in Iraq against all his campaign promises because he kept the status quo. Even when his actions failed and uniformed troops were leaving Iraq, we still maintained a upsurge in “contractors” to fill those roles.

Ask yourself, are the candidates you find attractive Insiders or not? There is only 1 Outsider currently competing for US President. Why do you think all the talking points are to frame opposition to him? Half a dozen times now, candidates have fallen and Paul is in the top contention, then new candidates throw hats in the ring to give more names for media to focus on while ignoring the one Outsider that adheres to the US Constitution. You think that’s a coincedence?! Of course not. has great info that explains it. Learn bias from a source, read the source, consider their bias and come to your own understanding. God Bless.

Rommnie is the one that he would give any governor that requested a waiver from obamacare, that is not repealing obamacare. He said that in the very beginning, but most overlooked it. Newt said he was using his exec. order on the day obama was at the airport. I believe NEWT will do it. Obamacare is what is destroying jobs, remember? So Mitt is the same as obama, obama has his rev. wright and romnie has his cult. I am a democrat that voted for Palin in 2008, and will vote for Newt this year in 2012.

That’s because a waiver takes almost immediate effect, whereas, a repeal takes a long grueling “act of congress” and would not take effect soon enough to stop the initial effects of implementation.

Most of the people here are drinking kool-aide thinking Ron Paul is their savior. He would get us bombed in 2 ways…his drug and war policies. Romney is an American that is just too far removed from reality.
Either Newt or Rick Perry can go in and do the clean up. Rick has run Texas great and Newt did miracles before and he can do them again….Contract with America, balanced budgets.
Unlike most of you I know Mitt, Newt and Rick Perry, so I can say first hand. Those 3 all love America, but Newt is probably the most experienced. I know for a fact that NEWT and Rick Perry would do what they promise.
Right now we need the U.N. shut down, all foreign aids stopped, the budget cut, but to take from people that have worked all their security would be worse than communism for senior citizens. That is not America. But the young need to be able to put their money elsewhere or they will be cheated like their parents were by the democrats.
We must get a Republican in or its over. And you people that fight and want Paul will give this country Obama and we will be dead!!!! But Romney is surely NOT the answer. I am praying daily that So. Carolina vote right and vote for either Newt or Rick Perry or my state of Florida will be stupid as usual and vote for Romney and the election is then Florida goes, goes the nation.
But its not the BIG Soros, etc., its Romney’s people with their money and their lying ads about Newt. That is what is making Romney the front runner. Vote for Newt or Rick Perry and we will get rid of Romney.

In my opinion, many who are posting all over the internet are actually Obama supporters that are pretending to be Republicans, and Conservatives. They are trying hard to divide and conquer. Their tactics were successful in 2006 and 2008. However, we stuck together in 2010 and WE WON! Our mission must continue! We need a GOP President, and a huge majority in both Houses of Congress… and that is the mission we must not lose sight of. If the candidate finally selected is not your ideal candidate for President… so be it, STILL VOTE. The President-elect after the 2012 vote MUST NOT BE Obama. Bite the bullet if you have to. Look what has happened to us because we did not come together in 2006 and 2008. Democrats have one trait that we should admire… solidarity! We need that trait badly in November 2012!

Jim Williams … then you must love Big Government, right? Because that is exactly what Gingrich is all about.

Oh, if you buy the crap Gingrich is selling about defending the Constitution, perhaps you should do an online search for a book called “The Third Wave” and Gingrich.

Gingrich wrote the forward for this book that talked about the need to dump the Constitution and rewrite it for the coming “futuristic” “21st Century” of America. The basic premise of the book was that the Constitution is an old and tired relic of the past and should be disregarded.

And, Gingrich continued to promote this book during his time as Speaker.

      All true.

We have one. His name is Ron Paul.

    • Faithful to US Constitution

I don’t understand why people actually go vote for someone who does not represent their ideals. Lesser of 2 evils is an idiotic way to vote. If you don’t like either, don’t vote for the lesser of 2 evils because you are only endorsing an evil, big or small. If it comes down to it, just let the worst of the 2 evils get elected without your endorsement with a low voting turnout (which will be a huge wakeup call) and when they continue to do what you do not support you can continue to oppose them, but with more of the populace coming aware. Doesn’t voting for the lesser of 2 evils help coverup the evil? Yeah it is a strong word to call someone evil but when they stand against the constitution and rule of law and take your Freedom from you, yeah, an enslaver is evil.

    • Phyllis

True, not voting for the lesser of two evils would normally be something to consider. However, right now the future of this entire country is at stake. Four more years of Oswami would mean that we no longer have a country that was founded on rights given to us by our Creator. It would become a complete and total dictatorship under Oswami’s hands. I would therefore not be opposed to voting for the lesser of two evils.

As for our Rep candidates: Romney is a like a smarmy used-car salesman (even my son-in-law who once was a used-car salesman says so), Paul is like the Isolationists of the 20’s and 30’s, which DID NOT keep us from being attacked by Japan in the early 40’s, Santorum is a young man with deep Christian values but short pockets, Gingrich is an Insider but knows how to keep America safe from her enemies and how to gain control of the out-of-control government, Huntsman reminds me of politicians of old who tell you what you want to hear, and Perry is strong on jobs and defense but is short on foreign relations.

If Cain hadn’t gotten out, I would have voted for him. Now, I have to choose between Gingrich and Perry and Santorum. I would like Santorum for his Christian beliefs, but I think that the Rep party will have to go for Gingrich or Perry, and only Gingrich can best Mr. Teleprompter during debates.

So, choose now: Oswami’s dictatorship or someone who can think on his feet like Gingrich and turn this country around.

  • Patrioticnut

As I have said in the past, it will make little difference who we eventually elect as president. The congress is the ones we need to worry most about. If we can elect enough conservatives to the senate to gain control of it and gain more control in the house it will matter little which of the present group gets the presidency. The problem is that we don’t have enough options for conservatives to vote in so we must “grow” our candidates from each state. The other problem is places that continue to elect the likes of Harry Ried, Puglosi, Wasserman shitz, and on and on. How do we stop that madness?

  • Doug Rodrigues

There are two ways to correct the problems we have now. The first way is to vote out every last politician in office now and replace them with new blood. The second way is to have a bloody revolution. If the first way doesn’t work, then buy your ammo while you can.

  • Janice Fortin

Romney’s words were very unfortunate and he’d best make some fast damage control. Obama’s moves were TAKEOVERS BY THE GOV when banks like Fannie and Freddie and others corrupted by their own ceo’s should be allowed to FAIL. That is the American way.
CEO’S who suck their companies dry should be held accountable. Not rewarded with MILLIONS TO RETIRE on the backs of their employees. Dictator obama. Fraud obama.
Whatever way you think of him: HE MUST GO.
FANNIE AND FREDDIE CEO’s leaving with MILLIONS on the backs of AMERICANS. How come moooching michelle suddenly “loves” USA?????? wow quite a switch from burning flags, isn’t it? For my $, there was NO switch, just hypocrisy.

  • tncdel

This article is a disgrace, trying to mislead people into thinking Romney is “just like Obama.”

Sure, I’m just like Obama too: I breathe air and am “just like him” in many other ways as well. But, overall, I’m NOTHING like Obama. Nor is Romney.

Romney is substantially different than Obama in most areas. He’s almost 180 degrees away from Obama when it comes to abortion, Islam and illegal aliens.

Ron Paul is “just like Obama” when it comes to Islam and illegal aliens. Romney isn’t. See this:

  • Linda S

It never ceases to amaze me how the American common man can not even spot liars anymore…or maybe they can and just choose to be blind. When you catch a liar in one of his non-truths, how could you trust him/her to ever tell you the truth or act in your best interest? Every single politician out there has been caught in lies…except Ron Paul…oh, and I’m sure the media will be trying to make sure he is in the same boat as the rest of the pack.

I agree with the fact that the road Ron Paul wants to take this country is a difficult road, ya know, The Constitutional road, but at this point in time, pain is the only remedy to heal the sick patient. There are worse remedies…like continuing the financial ponzi scheme and war machine that was set in motion decades ago by allowing the system to collapse on its own. Why do Americans believe it can’t happen here? It already is. All that is required is a little research into what happened in the past to pretty much shine a spotlight on the future. Though events are never exactly the same, patterns emerge. I don’t think Ron Paul can even stop what’s going to happen anymore, but he has my vote. He is not the candidate chosen by the elite running this world, so that’s good enough for my vote because these psychopaths will probably assasinate Paul before he could even take office. Oh yeah, and he will of course die of “natural causes” or “an act of terrorism”.

I guess the old adage “you deserve what you voted for” applies. America deserves another Obama, Bush, Clinton…Romney or Gingrich would fit the bill. Welcome, citizens of America, to WWIII, as China and Russia have had enough of our shinanigans. Prepare to defend your entitlements with the blood of your children…and your own.

I’m sorry but I couldn’t vote for anyone from Mass. Look what we’ve gotten so far starting with John Kennedy, the son of a bootlegger, who was sold out to organized crime with the promise of the Presidency, by his father Joseph Kennedy and may be the cause of John Kennedy’s death when he wouldn‘t do what they wanted. Then there was Teddy Kennedy and there is not enough room here to list all the bad he did to this country. He is proof that the good die young. Remember John Kerry, the traitor who almost won the Presidency. The only thing that stopped him was the brave men of his swift boat command coming forward to expose to the world what a coward and traitor Kerry is. Along comes Scott Brown, the hope of the Conservatives, who after winning for the Republicans, started voting with the Dems as if he were a Dem. Barney Frank blamed it all on Bush but under the mandate of Bill Clinton during his second term, caused the housing crash when he directed Fannie and Freddy to lower their underwriting guidelines so anyone could get a loan. Now Mitt Romney wants to be President but people from Mass just can’t be trusted and he has already passed his own healthcare bill in Mass. I understand that’s gone belly up or soon will. With the track record of Mass, why risk it?

Is Romney Stupid? He is giving the opposition ammunition to use against him. This guy is not Presidential Material. I don’t think he can go head to head with obama at all. Newt could for sure. His feathers do not get that ruffled. When you have the truth on your side its easy. Newt could help this country out of its problems. What he said about repealing obamacare he would do first shot out of the gate. And as far as economics goes he’s totally on top of common sense there too. Obama knows nothing about economics. Proof: If you only have 5 bucks you don’t spend 10. And we all know that if you do, eventually, we go deeper and deeper into debt. We lose our homes, our cars, the food we need to feed our children and become totally dependant on those who will supress you and your liberties. This is what this administration is doing. I’m not above changing my affiliation to stop this run away goverment that is in place now.And I only hope you all can see this too. We can change this county around if we all stand together for what is staring us in the face, and that is a corrupt administration that has no economic smart what so ever, just spend the people’s money and spend, spend, and spend more. How else could they justify haveing a lavish Halloween party for themselves when the country was in such a bad place. I mean come on, it wasn’t like they had a head of state to impress or anything like that. This bunch are all taking it for granted that we can do nothing. I say we can. You just have to be seeing it as it really is and taking back your rights. We cannot let a handful of crooks tell the masses what to do. We are the People and they do our bidding. Not the other way around. Its time to stand up and take back our country! God Bless Everyone who see this run away power in washington.

Romney is the politbureau Republican choice. They will get their way on the nomination and we will be stuck with another liberal RINO to vote for. Great choice, huh?

    • Rank

      Still better than Obama!

    • Faithful to US Constitution

Still not an upholder of Freedom and the US Constitution. If that’s the case, there is not “better” comparison. Not a Patriot is Not a Patriot. What you see stolen from you in the open verse what is stolen from you in secret is till making you a victim.

    • Brad Clayman

i agree, the chips have failin where they have and it is better than what we will get in 2012 if the rino is not elected over the socialist marxist!!

    • awakenow

Brad, nope. Nothing will change with RINO Romney. He is fascism with the government and Wall Street Big Banks/Big Corporations in bed with the government. Therefore, the bailouts of the rich will continue on the backs of the middle class.

The top seven campaign contributors to Romney are all the Big Banks like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Lehman, Citigroup, UBS, JP Morgan Chase, Merrill Lynch. IF you don’t think Romney is bought and paid for and will continue to put THEIR interests over the taxpayers, then you are naive.

Of course, the private banking cartel, called the Federal Reserve, loves Romney, too. He doesn’t want to ever audit the Fed or allow any transparency over what they do with OUR money.

  • Arcy

It’s True. We are faced with the necessity
of voting for the lesser of two Evils!

  • Brad Clayman

Romney did not admit he was like obama, obama still has the company’s belonging to the government, they are still not making money! Any of the republican candidates are know where near like obama! I listen to rush about everyday and for about 20yrs, Rush is incorrect!!

  • Mike N

I was thinking about voting for Romney on the premise that he is a pragmatist and would bend whichever way the political wind blew. If those winds were constitutional and strong enough he would enact like policies. But when I heard him defend himself by extolling as virtuous the thuggish, dictatorial policies of the Thug in chief, I have changed my mind.

Not sure who to vote for because all of the candidates share the same moral code as the liberal Democrats, human sacrifice aka altruism. None of them will be able to withstand the unceasing onslaught of moral attacks by the Democratic Party, academia, and the liberal press. They will cave under such pressure and hasten to compromise with the Dems to show how caring and ‘bipartisan’ they really are. America will be screwed again just as it was under Bush’s ‘compassionate conservatism.’ Romney is beginning to make Paul look good. In fact Romney is starting to make Obama look like the epitome of consistency. Obama has never wavered from his socialist dictatorship ideals.

I think Americans aren’t hurting enough yet to be willing to raise an intellectual finger to find out what is going on in the world. They would rather hate demons like greed, selfishness, profits, inequality and so on. It’s much easier for the unthinking to slay demons than it is to question the false gods they’ve been given to worship like sacrifice, equality, fair share, selflessness and many more.

Vote Ron Paul! Other than his stance on downsizing the military, he is the best representative of conservatism and traditional Republican values.

    • Phyllis

Excuse me? He is an Isolationist who does not demand morality. If Paul is elected, we’re sunk like we were before WWII.

    Rush is an egotistical windbag.

RINO Romney stinks Like RINO Sh$T

He is unelectable in the General election
He is too Rich, too Flop floppy too east coast.

The Bian Capital think will kill him and

Many Ron Paul people will not vote for

    Sh$t Romney.

    I will vote Gary Johnson

    • Gertrude Conn

My vote is for Gary Johnson too. He has a very good record as Governor of New Mexico. I prefer someone who has had experience as a governor. Romney’s record as governor of Massachusetts is a disaster.

  • Frank Klafs

No, Romney is not like Obama. We did find out that his opponents and of the same cloth as Obama IS. they ARE NOW ON A CAMPAIGN OF , SINCE i CANNOT WIN, i WILL trash Romney so he cannot become President.. Very childish.
Those that received below 10% in New Hampshire should have simple bowed out and waited to support the winner. Here we go , a bunch of snots are once again going to help elect a Democrat because the public rejected them

  • JIm

You can’t impeach a usurper. 1/26 a court will hear the arguments re.Natural born parents and the Constitutional requirements. The States must eliminate BO from the ballot. GA and now ALabama are in the process. we need to urge all states to remove BO from their Presidential ballots! Let’s get going!

    • guest

Yes, and rather convenitent SC primary is the 21st. Would the ruling include Romney and Santorum? Until proven otherwise, they are anchor babies, same as obama.

    • Gertrude Conn

Obama is not an anchor baby, he was born in Kenya. I heard that out of his own mouth. He is a total fraud and the sooner we get rid of him the better. He should not be on any of the ballots.

Look what has happened to us because we did not come together in 2006 and 2008. Democrats have one trait that we should admire… solidarity! We need that trait badly in November 2012!

I was a supporter of Newt. However, the facts are out regarding his “facts” about Romney, and Bain Capital… and the real facts show that Newt is wrong, wrong, wrong. Romney has not been involved with Bain since 1999, and much of the documentary relates to problems that are based after 2000. I am afraid that Newt has lost it.

    • Faithful to US Constitution

“I am afraid that Newt has lost it.”
That assumes he ever HAD it. Newt is the product of a PR campaign and falsehoods. An insider fatcat to the core. The problem with GOP is that the good people are trusting and have a sense of faith. That trust and faith is exploited and manipulated. It is sickening.

  • JH Brown

Romney is my choice for President. He is
brilliant, a graduate of Harvard, son of
George Romney, head of American Motors,
the only man running with business experience,
a great husband and father with deep religious
convictions. We need this man to lead our
Country. I am a Georgian and will not vote
for Newt Ginrich as he deserted a very sick
cancer striken wife and his children. He
filed for a divorce and furnished no support
for his family unti the divorce was final
about 6 months later. i am told The Church in Carrollton, Ga. supplied food for his wife
and children. After the divorce he married
a House Intern (same as Bill Clinton’s Monica
Lewinsky) then later divorced her for another
House Intern, the woman with heavy makeup
and bleached hair, Mrs. Newt Ginrich, you
see on his T.V. apppearances. He claims to
now have become a Christian, but judging from
his past, I would say it is old age that made
    him change.

    • Phyllis

In accepting Christ, a person’s “sins” are forgiven. You need to remember that. Right now you have someone in the WH who “claims” to be a Christian, but is an islamist hiding in Christian clothes. I would rather have someone who confessed his sins, asked for forgiveness, and received a FULL pardon from God than someone who is NOT a Christian but is hiding in the clothing of a Christian.

  • Gertrude Conn

I think it is totally unfair of the Republican Party to deny Gary Johnson any place in the Republican debates simply because he is not showing up in the polls. I, for one, am sick and tired of the mainstream media trying to pick our candidates for us. They are as bad as the government in trying to pick winners and losers among our candidates. The reason Gary Johnson is probably not showing up in the is that he is not well known, but if he was allowed a place in the debates that could change. The Republican need to change that rule. It’s a detriment to possibly picking a good candidate.

The people of this country are still not awaken and still follow where the water goes, like a bunch of fish. I understand why we are all so up tight and so disappointed is because we do not think first before we open our mouth. We relay to the news to tell us what going on and to listen to the people which some of them don’t know anything but to make matters worst. We have all had a chance to correct what these ignorant done in our country. But if we are not going to stand up and support who ever the nominate for president and I know some of you do not like Newt and some of you think he abandon his first wife(cancer) you should need to get the fact and not to listen or to read the garbage from the tabloid. Newt is the first one to say that he will repeal obamacare and restored the constitution and later on Mitt Romney follow and say he will repeal it too, however he never say anything about our constitution and to maintain English is the only language in this country. I will vote for Newt if he is a ballot for president.
