A letter from three relatives of the Benghazi attack victims is renewing questions over whether House Speaker John Boehner was briefed on covert operations in Libya and whether a proposed “Select Committee” might reveal politically damaging details.

At the same time, new reports and documents, reviewed by Fox News, are providing a broader picture of complex weapons-collection efforts in Libya – months after concerns were first raised that the U.S. was facilitating the movement of weapons, from Libya via Turkey, to Syrian rebels.

“Some analysts believe your inaction and passivity towards getting to the truth concerning Benghazi is because you were briefed on the intelligence and special operations activities in Libya,” the letter to Boehner said. It was signed by the father of former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods, the mother and uncle of Foreign Service Officer Sean Smith, and 70 others including retired generals.

If Boehner does have any involvement in this he needs to step down in this case and recuse himself and allow some one else to conduct the investigation which of course would have him testifying. And it seems from his silence and unwillingness he does.

Boehner has abused his position and needs to be replaced as House Leader because he is ineffective. He just rubber stamps everything the Democrats want and infact, made sure ObamaCare was fully implemented by making sure the funds would be available.

Boehner was named in Judicial Watch’s 2013 Ten Most Corrupt Politicians for his “toll booth” politics, i.e., special payments get bills posted faster. Why should we expect anything more from him?

He has me confused, totally…..I use to admire and respect the guy….but, lately, he’s stuck in the middle somewhere and isn’t much help to anyone. He is one of many who could ‘own up’ to what he knows and start bringing ‘scandals, etc , to the light.

Boehner may have known about weapons being funneled to Syria, as he should have as 2nd in line for the presidency, but he didn’t have anything to do with the killing of 4 Americans and destroying the diplomatic mission in Benghazi, and nothing to do with no response in defending their lives. Keep in mind that this could be a sly diversion from the administration and Secretary Clinton, as they are the real demons in this debacle that so many on the “progressive” side poopoo as a non issue.
