We have all heard the same things a hundred times. There are not enough of X type of people in this job/company/ position. We are not getting enough women, black women, blacks/ Hispanics in this place or that college. But, have we ever stopped to think that there is possibly another reason besides that classification or discrimination?
Most do not think through what is be told them; they only jump to the worst conclusion. This person or leader must not like these people because he/she has not chosen to pick them. We never think that there might not be a more qualified person for the position than the one that has filled that position.
Madeleine Albright has recently inferred that discrimination was involved with the new administration’s cabinet picks.
Wednesday on MSNBC, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright criticized the “lack of women at the top” of President Donald Trump’s administration.
Albright said, “I think we do have to support International Women’s Day. It’s very important. I keep being asked about whether the role of women internationally has improved. I think it has, but not enough. I’m concerned about the lack of women at the top of the Trump government, even though he has tweeted that he respects women. I do think that we need to support each other.”
But this is a very discriminatory statement by her. She is saying that the reason that these men, whoever they may be, only obtained their position because they were men. She is saying that there is no possible way that there were no women better than these men.
This would mean that the reason that Trump picked the people he did for these positions is because he hated women. At the very least, he does not think that they are adequate to fulfill these places of power.
But, one should ask if she has any proof of this discrimination.
If not, she is the real bigot.
