A dark day indeed for the United States of America… the American electorate chose to follow the European Union down the fiscal crapper…and conservatives are either scrambling to figure our what is wrong, pointing fingers OR they’ve lapsed into an apathetic coma-esque funk.
Whatever the case— we need to snap out of it and head directly to a mirror.
If you haven’t noticed, we’re funding our own demise…and we’re supposed to be the smart ones.
For all intents and purposes, the radical-left controls all of our major media organizations (ABC, CBS, NBC, HBO, CNN, etc) yet we still regularly tune in without a second thought. As a result, conservatives generate massive amounts of advertising dollars for these guys… a significant portion of which is used to fund fanatical leftwing agendas.
The radical-left controls our school systems too, and we fight back by sending our money and our children. Today, our entire education system is run by political-hack union members— some who can’t even read, and most— we can’t even fire.
The infamous scenario of “That could never happen here” is happening right here, right now.
We’re spoiled. As Americans, we’ve been isolated from the pains and the evils of ‘the real world’ for generations. Our definition of ‘poverty’ is laughable when put in proper global context. We pay billions of dollars to millions of people to be fat, stupid and lazy. Then these ‘motivation-resistant parasites’ have offspring and vote… a sad, sad Circle of Life indeed.
We now have a society of children being raised by children. A Mother-Daughter Tattoo Contest at a Gay Rights Parade for PETA & Panned Parenthood would come as ‘less of a surprise’ as seeing ‘a bible in a classroom’…gasp!
But that’s not the point…for now.
The point is that America and Pain have never known one another— but they’re about to meet. So of course we’ll hunker down to the best of our God-given ability and face whatever coming uncertainties head-on… because a lot of us are still Americans, and that’s what Americans do.
And those of us that are American Christians know that we will prevail. But I digress.
In this NEW America, we’ve got to be smarter. But we can ‘take heart’ in the fact that our numbers are still massive—almost half of the country. AND…. our half of the population includes the sharpest business minds in the world.
This time, we fight back on our stomping ground—’the private sector market place’, and teach these socialist utopians a lesson in Economics 101.
The simpler the plan— the better our chances for success. So here it is: ”Stop being their customer”…that’s it. That’s the plan.
All of us.
Now the term ‘customer’ also encompasses viewer, listener and yes, clicker. Even innocently clicking on Youtube videos generates revenue for the owner of the video (Did I mention I have a YouTube channel, lol).
But the bottom line is clear—we have got to stop funding our own demise, while we have the power to do so.
Do business with friends of freedom—conservatives and libertarians, whenever humanly possible.
We stop watching their shows…and sadly that basically means every popular TV channel you can think of. Sorry.
But the plan is simple, the reasoning is sound and the expectations are quite reasonable…but most of all, it could have an almost-immediate impact.
Stop being their customers. A national campaign professionally orchestrated would be a hell of a way to kick it off— but we don’t have that, and we don’t have time to wait. So spread the word.
Or think of something better…. I’m wide open.
But ‘giving up’ is not an option, dammit. We will not make any major changes without making major changes ourselves.
The following quote hasn’t been so appropriate since it was first penned in 1776: “These are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.” –Thomas Paine, American Patriot Warrior
And as Moonbattery’s Dave Blount so eloquently points out “liberalism doesn’t withdraw; like rust it never stops corroding everything of value. The less resistance liberals encounter, the faster things will get even worse — and no matter how bad they get, they can always get worse.”
And in the accidentally profound words of Mike Tyson: “Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face.”
