Jon Voight Asks Some Important Questions About Obama

One of my favorite Facebook friends is actor and Conservative activist Jon Voight. The day he accepted my friend request I literally went nuts, screaming to my husband (who was working upstairs), “JON VOIGHT ACCEPTED MY FRIEND REQUEST!” (Luckily I have a great husband who understands me completely.)

Since then, I’ve tried to calm down about it but still—these days, any Hollywood- type who puts their career on the line to speak out for ‘Our Side’ is absolutely a hero in my book. It doesn’t hurt that Jon Voight was already one of my all-time favorite actors. I could probably work up some tears right now thinking of the final scene of “The Champ”…sniff…And of course there’s ‘The Deer Hunter’, ‘Midnight Cowboy’, ‘Coming Home’—I could go on forever. Seriously.

Needless to say, I have greatly enjoyed reading Mr. Voight’s amazingly laser-beam-accurate posts on Facebook—but recently he outdid himself.

Over a period of two days, Jon posted 10 different questions about Mr. Obama. He asked the simple, direct questions that we should all be demanding the Main Stream Media-types ask the American public.

Jon asked his questions during a time when the MSM was pouring over Sarah Palin’s e-mails trying to find some iota of dirt on her—while at the same time a Democrat named Weiner was able to go full-frontal (to Lord knows who) and was deemed ‘too important to lose’.

Jon asked his questions while the MSM was ridiculing Newt Gingrich for losing some of his campaign staff– while the president has lost SIX key advisors in the last year, including this week’s ship-jumper Austan Goolsbee, Obama’s top Economic Advisor of only 9 months.

Jon asked his questions while the MSM was doing everything they could to divert the public’s attention away from the subpoenas issued to Erik Holder’s Department of Justice for their role in the ‘Gunrunner’ scandal. They also tried to make us all forget that Michelle Obama would soon take yet another extravagant vacation to Africa with her daughters, mother and whoever else suits her fancy. (Remember last year’s Spain trip?)

I think it goes without saying that if Barack Hussein Obama were a Republican president, (not that a Republican would ever have a Muslim name) he would be skewered by the Main Stream Media 24/7. Along with destroying what was left of our economy and trouncing on our Constitution, they would also be jumping up and down screaming about the fact that he’s gotten America involved in FOUR WARS instead of two…

But instead, we hear their evil wrath about Sarah Palin’s Paul Revere comments.

So following are Jon Voight’s questions. They are the questions every talk show host, news anchor and public figure should be asking (but they won’t).

All I did was copy and paste Jon’s status’s exactly as he wrote and posted them on his Facebook page.

His questions are brilliantly simple and straightforward, yet complicated—just like I imagine the “real” Jon Voight to be.

If any other of our presidents
had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to
“Cinco de Cuatro” in front of the Mexican ambassador
when it was “The 5th of May” (Cinco de Mayo),
and then continue to flub it when he tried again,
wouldn’t you have winced in embarrassment?

If any other of our presidents
joined the country of Mexico and sued a
State in the United States to force that State
to continue to allow Illegal Immigration,
would you question his patriotism
and wonder who’s side he was on?

If any other of our presidents
had put 87,000 workers out of work
by arbitrarily placing a moratorium on
offshore oil drilling on companies that have
one of the best safety records of any industry…
because one foreign company had an accident,
would you have agreed?

If any other of our presidents
had been the first President to need a
teleprompter installed to be able to get through
a press conference, would you have laughed and said
this is more proof of how inept he is on his own and is
really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes?

If any other of our presidents
had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars
to take his First Lady to a play in NYC,
would you have approved?

If any other of our presidents
had given the Queen of England an IPod
containing videos of his speeches,
would you have thought it to be
a proud moment for America ?

If any other of our presidents
had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia,
would you have approved?

If any other of our presidents
had visited Austria and made reference
to the nonexistent “Austrian language,”
would you have brushed it off as a minor slip?

If any other of our presidents
would have flown all the way to Denmark
to make a five minute speech about how the Olympics
would benefit him walking out his front door in his home town,
would you not have thought he was
a self-important, conceited, egotistical jerk?

If any other of our presidents
had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel
to go plant a single tree on Earth Day,
would you have concluded he’s a Hypocrite?

So, tell me again,
what is it about Obama
that makes him so brilliant and impressive?

Can’t think of anything?
Then you’d better start worrying.
He’s done all these things in 28 months –
and you have less than 19 months
to come up with an answer.

All it takes for evil to triumph
is for good men to do nothing.

  Very impressed with what I just read,it is funny my husband and I were just talking about thes same questions this past weekend, we came to the same conclusion and that is 4 more years seem very concerning with the same person in as our President,we gave him a chance,but it concerns us to give him more time to destroy what he tried to fix.     Your remark about what Obama was trying to fix struck me since I don’t think anything was that broken that needed fixing. There were some things that needed a little adjustment but nothing was actually broke except Congress. SS was considered broke but it wasn’t until the government ‘borrowed’ from it and didn’t try to replace it. Our healthcare wasn’t ‘broke’ but again needed some readjustments. If our government wasn’t trying to pay healthcare for every illegal I doubt our healthcare would have needed adjusted either. It seems that everytime our government tries to ‘fix’ anything they break it.

Cheers for Jon. He has always been one of my favorite actors and activist in the conservative world. It seems the msm is afraid of being called racist if they criticize this bumbling idiot and his minions of academics who have no idea of what it takes to meet a payroll or actually work in the real world. The scary thing is that there are over 50 million people out there that are just as ignorant. Lets hope they realize the mistake they made and correct it in 2012.

  Here is another Question, for which I have to tell a short story to set up. While visiting a rural area in North Central Florida, I went to Mass on Sunday where I heard a sermon that condemned the Notre Dame Officials for inviting a known pro-abortionist (Obama) to speak to their Catholic students. Impressed by this old Priest and the audacity he had to speak up for one of the tenets of the Catholic Church by condemning a speaker (our President) who is radically against that tenet, I found that this Priest making a round trips of 75 miles every Sunday, to give a Mass at two other small Catholic Churches in the area. Today, back home and after daily Mass, I had a conversation with a couple friends and related this story to them. One of the friends stated that Obama had given a speech a few months back at another Catholic controled facility in the Washington DC area, that was very old and on our historical register, which displayed a larger than life Crucifix (Cross with Christ’s body), the Ten Commandments, and the name ‘Jesus Christ’ in bold lettering on several of the walls. Obama’s people said that Obama wouldn’t speak there unless they were all covered and hidden from view with fabric of some type, for which the Catholic Officials at first refused. Since this was a graduation ceremony, complaints were made by family members that Obama would not speak unless these Christian representations were covered from view, and they demanded that the Catholic Officials comply, for which they then did. I then asked the friend who was relating this story and said these actions were outragious, what was the reasoning behind the demands, were they of evil origin? He claimed that Obama and his handlers were just trying to be secular, until I also asked, why would any man claiming to be a Christian and President of a Christian nation, require this sacrilege (Jesus stated that, “If you deny Me to others, then I will deny you to my Father.”) to be done if not for evil purposes, or unless that person is truly a Muslim? My friend then had to admit this was done for evil reasons! So the question is, is Obama really a Christian as he claims, or a liar and is really a Muslim?

I applaude Jon Voight. He is a true American. Another question he might ask is; “If any other American President refused to release his educational records and provided an obviously doctored birth certificate, would the press and the politicians allow the questions to remain unanswered?” Jon Voight is dead-on. I love Jon Voight, here is one item that should be remembered: soon after taking office President Obama had the bust of Sir Winston Churchill returned to England. I don’t know about you but my antenna went up at that one. The bust, being a national treasure like the Statue of Liberty, belonged to us, the people of the United States, not Obama. It was later whole watching a National Geographic special on Churchill that I realized why he did that. Churchill was a proponent of Israel and was instrumental in the establishment of the Nation Israel. That day I knew Obama hates Jews the same as Yasser Arafat (what an ugly man he was). MJB

I was unaware of the source of these questions–they have been making the rounds via email for several weeks. One omission is from Obama’s speech in Bend, OR in ’08 in which he claimed that he was then appearing in the 57th state during his campaign. He added that he had one to go as his managers would not allow him to go to Alaska and Hawaii. Also not mentioned was the time he took his teleprompter into a 4th grade classroom for a brief speech!

The real shame of this president is, that so many folks were psychologically intimidated to vote for him the first time. Liberals and some moderates felt the subconscious need to vote for him because of his race. To not support him was a “racist” stance, in their imaginations. these folks conveniently overlooked the obvious pitfalls of support – that he was a radical leftist (communist?); that his cohorts and mentors were of the same stripe; that his background was shady; and even his birth and school records weren’t available.
