Saving the Republic To Rush or Not To Rush, That Is the Question

Things have got to change my friends. You’ve got to get mad. You’ve got to say, “I’m as mad as hell and I’m not going to take this anymore!” Then we’ll figure out what to do about the depression and the inflation and the oil crisis. But first get up out of your chairs, open your window, stick your head out and yell, “I’m as mad as hell and I’m not going to take this anymore!”

The preceding was from the 1976 movie classic “Network”.  Now, more than ever, we as Americans need to heed those words.

Instead, the only thing we are apparently mad about is the Left being hypocritical over demanding the head of Rush Limbaugh, and the Right arguing over whether to give it to them or not.  On Facebook, the MSM, talk radio, heck even the alternative media is devoting much coverage to the topic (or the Non-Topic as I would like to call it).  This brings me to my point.  Rush should never have even addressed the birth control story.  He would have been much wiser to take a lesson from Newt, and refused to address issues that are not of primary importance to the reclaiming of our Great Republic.

You see, that is how those that have brought us to the brink have been able to keep doing it.  It is their “red herring” tactic.  Anytime there is a chance we, as Americans, might catch on to their true nature/agenda they create a distraction.  Same sex marriage, abortion, religious beliefs of candidates, and now birth control. Every time they spin it to appear to be supporting women’s rights, minority rights, or recently the “environment’s” rights.  This time around, the Left and MSM are spinning it as “women’s healthcare”.

Normally the left collaborates with their partners in crime the Main Stream Media. This time Conservative media as well as alternative media and blogs have become part of the subterfuge. Moreover, the longer this stays a topic, the less coverage is given to the strategic issues in this war to save our nation.  Things like unemployment, China’s downsizing their holdings of our debt, the Bear returning to power in what may soon again be called the USSR, our economy, the invasion of drug cartels on our southern border.  With these issues, there can be little to no division spread amongst us.

There is a war going on for our freedoms in America.  The socialist left have been on the offensive for the last 6 to 8 years.  During that time, our Grand Old Party has been strictly playing defense (trying not to “stoop” to the Left’s level).  There is a difference between going on the offensive, and being offensive.  Rush, rather than not taking the bait and attacking the administration for its failing policies, chose to play into their trap.  Now it appears Ms. Fluke may have had previous ties to the administration.  The administration has countless strategists on the payroll.  The networks have strategists and specialists working night and day manipulating the stories to best suit their goals (be it ratings or fulfilling some agenda).  You can rest assured that they planned this from the very beginning of the congressional hearings (though they probably never imagined they would have gotten such a damaging hit with Limbaugh).

So, ask yourself, are you an AmeriCAN or an AmeriCAN’T.  If you are an AmeriCAN, you have to go to that window. You have to yell and let everyone in America know you are mad as hell. Just make sure you are mad about the truly important things.  So, let us all forget Rush Limbaugh and the birth control “controversy”, and go on the attack.  One day at a time, one battle at a time, we will re-take our Republic.  Remember, Bill Clinton won with James Carville’s strategy of “It’s the economy stupid.”
