Recently MSNBC anchor Ed Schultz called Conservative radio host and author Laura Ingraham a ‘slut’:
“President Obama is going to be visiting Joplin, Mo., on Sunday but you know what they’re talking about, like this right-wing slut, what’s her name? Laura Ingraham? Yeah, she’s a talk slut. You see, she was, back in the day, praising President Reagan when he was drinking a beer overseas. But now that Obama’s doing it, they’re working him over.”
I think everyone knows that if someone like Bill O’Reilly had called Joy Behar one of those the entire planet would be upside-down by now.
Schultz apologized and like the decent Conservative lady she is, Ingraham accepted gracefully.
But this entire farce reminded me once again how much I dislike the world ‘tolerance’ these days. The left screams that word constantly at Conservatives; they protest when they think we’re not tolerant enough to their beliefs and yet when it comes to Conservative beliefs? Crickets.
Thanks to a wonderful website called ‘What Liberals Say’, I’ve compiled some very IN-tolerant quotes from the very Leftist people who demand ‘tolerance’ from the Right.
In their own words and going alphabetically, Part 1 will cover the A’s and B’s (there were a lot of ‘Barack’ quotes).

In our government, tolerance is only for the gay, lesbian, illegfal aliens, unions, muslims, atheists. Tells you what kind of nation we’ve become.
It does seem that conservatives are really the only truely tolerant section of our society.
We believe in freedom, even for people who do not hold opinions that align with ours. That’s why the majority has remained silent for so long while others have been championing unconventional ideas.
It’s like when you allow your kids the freedom to play with others. It’s a good thing which in most cases teaches how to socialize and builds teamwork. But when freedom results in harm to others (one example is when a fight breaks out) adults are required to step in to correct the problem.
This is where we presently stand with our country. It’s time for the adults to step in to correct the harm being done to the American people.
No freedom is unlimited but all types come with responsibility. You cannot yell FIRE in a crowded theater because of the panic and physical harm the stampeed would cause to others.
All good things can become harmful if abused and true patriots have been very tolerant for a long time. But for the past two years harm has been done. Harm to our security. Harm to our economy. Harm to our employment prospects. Harm to our right to choose our own healthcare.
Our tolerance has been abused. It’s now time for adults to step in.
I agree with you MSgt but there is the “New Tolerance” now and it is a tolerance for evil. I will post more on that later. It’s a whole new idea of tolerance as we have known it and it’s perpetrated because of the muslim influence. It is eating America alive unfortunately.God help us!

I joined the military in 1976. By 78 I was stationed in Germany. I loved it so much I decided I wanted to see the world. To make a long story short I proceeded to spend 18 1/2 years of my career in the military overseas.
While there I felt I needed an education on peoples and customs. I found this would not happen if I did not understand the underlying motivations of the culture where I was or could be stationed. The world’s religions seemed a good starting place to learn.
Now keep in mind I am a Christian.
I got my hands on many of the books I call “Wisdom Traditions” and started reading.
What I found suprised me. Most religions believe in the same basic values of tolerance, love of fellow man/woman, and love of god (as that religion expressed it) that Christians do.
Here’s the part that will make ememies for me.
I also read the Koran. When I did I became very alarmed. The intolerance for others expressed in this book frightened me. Killing, mutilation, slavery (including sexual), and wife beating are all held up as virtuous. The book is billed as the absolute words of Allah which cannot be refuted. All who adhere to it are required to act as Allah would. Women are second class people who do not count as men are but rather are treated as property. Spreading of the philosophy is required by all using persuation or, if this fails, by the sword.
The more I read the more I came to believe this book was incompatable with western civilization as we understand it. To adhere with the Koran is to disavow our entire legal and value systems. While this book stands, a clash of civilizations is inevitable.
Ever notice how the arab , muslim nations flags , all carry swords or guns ? That should tell us something.

Hello MSgt, thank you so much for writing this to me. I so appreciate your comments and always I feel as if I know you, like a familiar friend. I think that way may be because we have some things in common that are so important. I come from a military background; my father was a pilot in the USAF during the war. My husband was in the USAF as a Major in the Headquarters Command. My brother was in the military and my only son, a Medic in Iraq. I am alone now but being a military wife was all I knew for much of my life and oh, how I loved it – the good, the not so good and everything in between. We traveled to so much of the world as well as many states north, south, east and west. We were not stationed in Germany but other bases in Europe and the Far East. I love what you’ve said about wanting to learn about the peoples and their customs. I did too and I think we would have many great stories to tell. The military is so wonderful to get that kind of education not just from the books. When we were stationed in a particular country, as you know, we are given a “rule book” to be a good citizen while living there. As a result of abiding by that, I can say I only had the best of experiences and many wonderful memories. But as you know…..that was then, now is such a different world and time. I have never studied or really read the Koran although I do know certain “laws” of it. I still have friends who are in Muslim countries and are leaving. Practicing tolerance in other countries was necessary for peace keeping but it did have great rewards as well. The tolerance in Muslim nations and for Muslims is quite another story. There is a clear and present danger for us as Americans, more importantly as Christians. I am a very strong Christian and as such, Islam is my enemy. It is America’s enemy. Followers of the Koran and Allah have no such thing as a tolerance mandated religion. Instead, world domination and murder is basis of their agenda. So as more and more of their influence prevails upon the West, more “tolerance” is called for to establish this evil within. As such we cannot accept anything less than our Christian foundational beliefs that made our country great and that so many true Americans have fought and died for. I appreciate your life so much MSgt and your wonderful spirit of patriotism for this country that you have served so well. You are a man of honor and wisdom and I pray that God will bless you so much.

What Article 11 of the treaty was meant to convey is that the US Govt is not a theocracy based on a religion, such as the Islamic states of the Barbary Coast were and are. I have to laugh when anyone says the left is tolerant of others. They are the most biased and racist of anyone. They have that in common with the Muslims who are also nontolerant, biased, and racist. The left have only one way of looking at things and that is their way. Anyone elses ideas are criticized and made fun of. We don’t need people of that kind in our government.
If you make the mistake of taking your Bible to school or to court and start to pray you will discover pretty darn quick how tolerant the liberals are. Say a word in public about the “abomination to GOD” sexual practice and you will discover their tolerance this way, too and if you are not careful you will find yourself in jail.

We need to know which battles are worth fighting and which stands are non negotiable. We are in need of representation of Truth in this age of “new tolerance”. Our undertaking involves teaching our children and others to embrace all people, but not all beliefs. It means helping them courageously live and speak the truth, even if it earns them the label of intolerant. It is the truth, not tolerance that is indeed the highest virtue.

One other thing you could have mentioned is that all the above was done by someone that has consistently lied to the American people about his place of birth, and has continually put forth fraudulent birth certificates in an attempt to placate America. That in itself is the icing on the cake.
When the Atheist Dave pointed out all the violent passages from the Bible, he forgot to mention that those passages haven’t been practiced for eons. You don’t see Christians or Jews stoning adulterers, killing homosexuals, subjugating women, cutting off limbs, fingers, and tongues, being suicide bombers etc., but you do see Muslims doing those violent acts today. The Bible was written by many people from many different backgrounds while the “peaceful” Koran was written by one angry dude to further his political goals and gain power over others. Christians and Jews can be faithful to their religion without adhering to the violent passages mentioned by Dave, but the Muslims must carry out the teachings of Mohammed or they will not be considered a true Muslim. That is the difference and it is a big one.
