Will the “Uns” determine the November outcome?

In my encounters with and observations of liberals and democrats, I find that they are mostly Uninformed, Unintelligent, Unenlightened, Uneducated and Unmotivated to get the facts, which can be very frustrating to someone who is politically educated and passionate. And their vote counts just as much as someone who has put the time in to getting informed as to the facts.

I find that their inquiry stops at a wall built of what I call Truth FOBIA. That is, they base their positions on Feelings, Opinions, Beliefs, Intellectualizing, and relying on supposed Authorities who they pre-select to base their positions on and who often already share their position. But none of these FOBIA approaches are grounds for determining what the truth is.

And the unfortunate thing is that their stances are usually emotionally driven. They are in a “rah rah for our side” mode fueled by whatever deeper psychological reason that holds them captive.

therefore, the onus is on the Republicans to make their case over and over and over to try to educate people as to the facts and what the best solutions they offer are.

I hear it being said that the liberals run most of the media and therefore it will be hard to break through to the general American public and educate them on the facts and best solutions. But I say that doesn’t prevent the GOP from using ads to get into ANY media. And the GOP has more money. So that can help to level the playing field.

Mitt Romney recently said, “People who disagree with me don’t bother me. I just figure that they don’t have all the facts.” As a person who also used to hold to FOBIAs to back up my positions, now that I have a lot more facts and understanding, I can see that many other people still do gravitate towards FOBIAs in lieu of having the facts.

So, we have our work cut out for us. And we can’t just stand by and not do it, because there is a heavy price to pay in terms of morals and economics if the democrats continue to take over. Like British politician Edmund Burke said,“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing.”

And how has evil been gradually taking over? I think that a lot of it has to do with the fact that good people generally just want to live their lives and not get politically involved … especially if that means encountering the craziness and hostility of liberals. I mean I understand that it’s not pleasant to stand in the way of a crazy and hostile force. And people who have emotional, psychological and spiritual problems do crave the psychodramatic potential in politics and using the public forum as someplace to vent the feelings from their inner turmoil. They (incorrectly) feel like if they knock down the next social barrier they’ll be free. Therefore, fueled by these feelings of unresolvement in them (another “un”), they get politically involved and have gradually been taking over. And the moral and economic standards of this nation have been paying a big price for their voice and involvement.

So maybe you don’t have the time or inclination to write articles and books or run for an office, but you can donate and show up to rallies. And you can vote and further educate yourself and then talk to others in your life and get the facts to them.
