Refusing to acknowledge the 2009 Ft. Hood Islamic terrorist attack, the attempted Islamic Time Square attack, the Benghazi Islamic terrorist attack, the recent April 2013 Islamic terrorist attack in Boston and many more, Barack Obama claimed in a press conference Thursday that there have been ‘no large-scale attacks’ on America since 9/11.
John Mueller, the chair of National Security Studies at Ohio State’s Mershon Center for International Security Studies, disagrees with Obama and has collected a list of 52 such plans since 9/11, as chronicled in Mueller’s book, Terrorism Since 9/11: The American Cases.
Despite the overwhelming facts, Obama remains steadfast in his position that if only America would embrace the Muslim community all would be well with the world.
“The best way to prevent violent extremism is to work with the Muslim American community — which has consistently rejected terrorism — to identify signs of radicalization and partner with law enforcement when an individual is drifting towards violence,” Obama said. “And these partnerships can only work when we recognize that Muslims are a fundamental part of the American family.”
