Seattle City Councilwoman Sally Bagshaw, in her “Sally Blogshaw” on-line column, has offered “sixteen constructive ideas” to improve public safety in the city to prevent the kinds of shootings that have plagued the Jet City this year.

Among those ideas are four specifically aimed at ratcheting down on gun rights, including open carry, that — if they were already on the books — would not have prevented the shooting at Café Racer, or any of the other murders that have occurred in 2012.
