Speaker of the House Boehner is now the least popular member of congressional leadership, according to a new Rasmussen Reports poll. Boehner clocks in with 51 percent of voters disapproving of his performance.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has held that spot for many years, surpassed now for the first time by Boehner—likely an encouraging revelation to the growing movement to oust the Ohio Republican from his leadership position.

A total of 50 percent disapprove of Pelosi’s performance, according to the poll. Only 31 percent approve of Boehner’s performance, whereas 37 percent approve of Pelosi’s performance.
