GOP hopeful Rick Santorum is surging in the polls and is now turning his focus to the president. That attention has President Obama’s campaign taking notice.

Campaigning at a church in Georgia, Rick Santorum attacked president Obama’s decision to give women employed by religious institutions free access to contraceptives.

“It is imposing his ideology on a group of people expressing their theology,” Santorum said.

Santorum is focusing on the president as he looks to a possible November face off. In Ohio this weekend, he said the President’s environmental views are
hurting Americans.

“It’s not about you. It’s not about your quality of life. It’s not about your jobs. It’s about some phony ideal. Some phony theology; not a theology based on the bible,” Santorum said.
