On July 1, my brand new book The American Boomerang: How The World’s Greatest Turnaround Nation Will Do It Again is released.

You can pre-order it here.

Prior to its release, over the series of the next few weeks, I will release exclusively to PatriotUpdate.com certain sample passages contained within the book.

Enjoy this excerpt from Chapter 4: Our Troops.

America should never permit a situation where its allies are in retreat and its enemies in advance. The fact that some are now questioning if the United States has the proper amount of muscle and resources—let alone intelligence, will, and moral fortitude—to deal with advancing threats is deeply troubling.

The arithmetic for foreign policy is simple for the United States: it needs to be good to its friends, and bad to its enemies. That way people will want your friendship. And they won’t want to be your enemy.

America has and must always arrive at every conflict with a strong but gentle heart. But also, a firm belief that pursuing America’s interest benefits the world, and that a more powerful America is not a more harmful world.

I repeat: America doesn’t have to attend every argument it is invited to. Far better is peace through strength. We learned that lesson. Thanks, Neville. An American can be wounded but never conquered—vulneror non vincor. God bless America’s wounded warriors.

The book makes a great 4th of July gift! The American Boomerang has a foreword written by Col. Allen West, and is endorsed by the Heritage Foundation, Breitbart.com, National Review, Washington Examiner, Dartmouth Review, Gov. Mike Huckabee, Dick Morris and many others! Order it here.

God Bless America.
