As the United States and coalition forces continue to bomb ISIS in Iraq and Syria, officials at the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI have released a joint bulletin to local law enforcement warning them about an increased potential for homegrown, lone-wolf terror attacks.

“We believe these strikes will contribute to homegrown violent extremists’ broader grievances about U.S. military intervention in predominantly Muslim lands, possibly motivating homeland attacks,” the bulletin states.
