A Karl Rove-backed political group unveiled a wide-release ad yesterday whacking Democratic Senate hopeful Elizabeth Warren for her support of the “Occupy” movement, suggesting she’d rather back protests than create jobs.
“Fourteen million out of work, but instead of focusing on jobs, Elizabeth Warren sides with extreme left protests,” a voice-over intones amid text identifying Warren as “professor.”
The 30-second spot was released by Crossroads Grassroots Policy Strategies, a conservative group advised by Rove and former Republican National Committee chairman Edward Gillespie. It comes after League of Conservation Voters launched their own television campaign blasting Republican U.S. Sen. Scott Brown for backing “big oil.”
The anti-Warren ad blasts the conditions surrounding the Occupy movement’s protests.
