Marc Alan Lee was the first Navy seal killed in Iraq.  It was August 2, five years ago on my birthday.  Every year on this day I will remember Marc the brave man who fought for my freedom to live, to live in America, and I’ll pray for his mother Debbie Lee who I met on the Tea Party Express bus last year.  She is a wonderful woman who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country.  She has turned her grief into action and works tirelessly for military causes.  Go to her website to get involved:

This is Marc’s last letter home:

Glory is something that some men chase and others find themselves stumbling upon, not expecting it to find them. Either way it is a noble gesture that one finds bestowed upon them. My question is when does glory fade away and become a wrongful crusade, or an unjustified means by which consumes one completely?
