A majority of New Jersey voters have an unfavorable view of Gov. Chris Christie (R), a possible presidential candidate in 2016, according to a new poll.
Only 37 percent of Garden State voters view Christie favorably and 53 percent unfavorably, the survey from Rutgers-Eagleton finds, the first time unfavorable has been the majority opinion.
New Jersey voters similarly disapprove of his job performance: 52 percent said that they did not approve of his performance, while 42 percent said that they did.
