Congressman accuses senator of reducing ‘bread basket of America’ to crumbs
He says he currently has no plans to run against her, but a series of television ads from U.S. Rep. Devin Nunes is ripping the career of Sen. Dianne Feinstein for reducing the “bread basket of America” to crumbs.
“For years, Sen. Feinstein and liberals who graduated during the hippie generation have used the San Joaquin Valley as a guinea pig for their failed policies,” Nunes told WND in an interview.
He said the costs now are measured in lost businesses, lost jobs and lost productivity. So he’s been reminding people through a series of new television ads just who is responsible for this in their lives.
Nunes hits Feinstein over a $29 million car tax on valley residents and said there’s little logic in charging the exclusive fee just because farming stirs dust into the air.
