How sensitive? What about how active your sex life is, if you’ve been with multiple partners, and if they are same-sex or opposite gender? As McCaughey makes clear, we’re talking about probing questions on trips to dermatologists and cardiologists, not specialists who might need to know.
What if you refuse to answer? HHS issued an ultimatum earlier this year that people who want to keep something out of their electronic records should pay cash. In other words, if the government “pays” (using other people’s money), it calls the shots — literally.
