Comment is far different than her I’m-not-running statement from October
The former GOP vice presidential candidate revived the possibility that she just might consider parachuting into the race for the 2012 Republican nomination for the White House.
“It’s not too late for folks to jump in. Who knows what will happen in the future,” she told FOX Business Network’s “Follow the Money” in an interview set to air Monday night.
With that cryptic comment, Palin reignited speculation about her political future — speculation that was thought to have been put to rest in October, when she announced she would not be seeking the nomination, due to concerns about how it would affect her family.
“As always, my family comes first,” she explained at the time, “and obviously Todd and I put great consideration into family life before making this decision.”
