The economy added just 113,000 jobs in January, well below expectations and the second month in a row the report provided disappointing figures.

While the unemployment rate fell to 6.6 percent, the report highlighted sluggish job growth at the beginning of the year.

In December, the economy added just 74,000 jobs. At the time, economists predicted that number would likely be revised going forward, but the Bureau of Labor Statistics only moved up their estimate to 75,000 in the report released Friday.
