Press Falls for Yet Another Hoax
RUSH: Do you remember the story yesterday we had about how Reuters, CNN, the Washington Post, and New York Times fell for a hoax? Yesterday we thought that it was just an e-mail hoax that they fell for. The hoax was perpetrated by some group that as a practice perpetrates hoaxes on the media. And they sent an e-mail out claiming that they were the Chamber of Commerce, that they had done a 180 and Chamber of Commerce was now ready to join Obama on cap and trade, and it was false.

CNN Psychoanalyzes Talk Radio Listeners, Cites Left-Wing Study on Format
CNN’s Carol Costello began a new series on political talk radio on Monday’s American Morning, suggesting it was unfairly dominated by conservatives, and brought on a liberal psychiatrist who theorized that Rush Limbaugh has an audience because he’s “operating like the bully, and if you’re on the playground...you want to be...under the bully’s wing and go along with him and get...some power by proxy.”

ABC Uses Obama's '9-Month Anniversary' to Tout Popularity Over Republicans
Demonstrating the media never tire in coming up with new rationales to tout President Barack Obama's popularity, ABC led Monday night with a poll timed to the night before Tuesday's nine-month mark of the Obama presidency -- as if that's some kind of important anniversary, and spent as much time on how it found record low affinity for Republicans.

NBC's Todd: 'Clean White Suit' Obama a Victim of High Expectations for His Goodness

POLITICO's Mike Allen and Josh Gerstein wrote today on the White House strategy of trying to delegitimize Fox News.
Now MoveOn.org is getting involved. The liberal activist organization has started a petition aimed at Democratic members of Congress, urging them not to appear on the network as long as Obama stays away.

CNN Finds Shrink to Analyze You - Claims you are bullied into listening to Rush
RUSH: Folks, you probably didn't hear this because it's on CNN. It's hilarious now. They've got a reporter who stalks me. Carol Costello. She's actually the beat reporter assigned to me. I call her a stalker. She started a series of reports today, "Anger on the Air." (Gasp!) "Talk radio...made our country viciously partisan," so they went out and they found a psychiatrist to analyze the situation -- and the answer is that I bully you.

White House to Fox News: How Dare You Check Our 'Facts'
I must admit... I thought for sure that the Obama administration's "war" against Fox News would surely just be a skirmish. Think about it. Fox News is more popular than all other cable news channels, and yet Obama's minions still thought it was a good strategy to go after the network. Their actions paint a clear picture of an administration that is elitist and arrogant.

MSNBC Admits: 'Unable to Verify' False Limbaugh Quote; No Retraction or Apology
During the 3:00PM ET hour of live coverage on MSNBC Friday, co-host David Shuster admitted that racially charged quotes he and other hosts attributed to Rush Limbaugh had not been verified: “MSNBC attributed that quote to a football player who was opposed to Limbaugh’s NFL bid. However, we have been unable to verify that quote independently. So, just to clarify.” Shuster did not formally retract the quote or apologize.
