I love Texas.
For lots of reasons. It is the finest polity on earth. Common sense and logic still reign, and people say what they mean and mean what they say.
Attorney General Greg Abbott wrote to the OSCE, responsible for carrying out the UN monitoring of polling, and explained he was unclear about what they wished to achieve. He also made it clear that groups of an international nature, such as theirs were “not allowed to influence or interfere” with Texas elections and warned they faced arrest.
When another member of the OSCE complained to Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, that Abbott’s letter and warnings were unacceptable, he tweeted “BRING IT”. Texas Governor, Rick Perry, tweeted: No UN monitors/inspectors will be part of any TX election process; I commend @TXsecofstate for swift action to clarify issue.
This is the kind of backbone and aggression that makes a society exceptional. It is the state of play when political correctness has no impact. This what truly makes Texas special.
Truth be told, the UN is corrupt, anti-Semitic, anti-Israel, anti-life, anti-liberty and has a Marxist agenda. Instead of taking action or resolving to condemn brutal dictators for the slaughter of people, the UN is more interested in condemning the one democracy in the Middle East: Israel. It is an absolute farce. And a complete disgrace.
With that record and those instincts, who wants them around an American election?
Through their actions on this, Texas has once more shown that it is the America of America. Should America ever want a lead to follow, should America ever want a model to fall back on, it is Texas.
Texas is the balls of America.
